get used to the 3 attacks, the hydra heads do quite the big pauses inbetween. you can do massive damage in these pauses

learn the patterns of each type of head, and the rule of thumb is it will do an agressive attack first

For fists you need to duck and weave through the heads most of the time, watching out for the slams the most and dodging projectiles.

@languid crystal that sounds like a result of how the dialogue system is structured. there's two primary pools of dialogue the game pulls from, your unique dialogue that only plays once, and repeated dialogue that plays once all currently available unique dialogue has been exhausted. when unique dialogue plays, the game simply checks that you've met the requirements for it, and selects at random a piece of dialogue to play from what you currently have available, so sometimes you may end up getting dialogue much later than you should have simply because it didn't cycle through sooner. if you run across any particularly egregious instances of this and you're on pc, you can f10 those and report them.

If I wasn't already simping putting all my nectar towards Artemis, I'd put them towards Athena.

She is a (quite literal) godsend in most of my runs.

Me and projectiles aren't very friendly in most games.
My System 1 method of thinking is too powerful for my System 2 to kick in (especially with dopamine rush coming from the stellar sound design) so I turn into monke for a bit and forget about projectiles until they hit me.
I know the Hydra heads and the room full of armored witches got me with projectile spam early on.

Maybe it's my Hero muscle memory kicking in and going for Bounce every time even when the opponent doesn't have any projectiles

I saw it pop up when fighting the Lost Souls and I didn't think much of it.

Oddly it was the fight with both the tiny vermin and the minotaur that I actually beat.
I was struggling with the solo Minotaur.

It's his shield.

You have to go for backstabs if you want to damage him at all.

I didn't have much trouble with the solo Mino after the first time when I didn't know about his freaky jumps

With little guy I just keep running away hitting him a bit now and then

Eventually he dies without dealing any damage

It was the charge that got me the first two times I encounter solo mino

I was at low health during those encounters so it was basically a death sentence.

The charge wasn't such a problem because I'm a dash spammer normally

Still, Mino is the worst part of the ||theseus encounter|| because his movement means ||Theseus gets to take potshots at you||

Just hide behind pillars and chip away at mino

The one with ||Theseus|| and the Mino, I came in with around 230 health, completely maxed out.
I tanked a lot of the potshots and barely even noticed until he shouted at me about it.

The worst part of that encounter is divine aid

I just keep my aid charged up to delete the champion as soon as he calls for aid

Because he got Posideon during my fight.

And I know he can get others thanks to the fan art I posted in #fan-works that got deleted for language.

When Mino is gone it's chill, even whe divine aid starts. He drops pretty quickly to the heavy guns
