Shattered Shackle will only amp up the damage of slots that don't have a core boon in them
Example: Attack, Special, Dash, Cast (Aid is also a core boon, but shattered shackle can't do anything for it)
If you have a chaos boon that increases damage, it'll still work

i just wanted to say thank you to the entire team.. i spent the weekend playing
Hades literally tagging in and out different DS4 controllers until they died.. i absolutely love this game.. i was wrong to not pick it up sooner.. the bread crumbing of slowly unlocking more upgrades and the insurance of GOD MODE makes sure that you always fall forward.. i finally got the 3rd death defiance so hopefully a clear comes soon 🙂

@short gust There is absolutely no negatives from using God Mode. You still can experience the entire story and achievements still work. Some people look down upon it but I see no issue in it what so ever

For example: I got a 'god run' with the fists the very first time I used them where I had just about everything go right to make my special into a monster one-hit machine, and I had the +health on special kill hammer right out of the gate.
It led to me playing super sloppy, taking a crapload of damage and healing it off.
The next like 10 runs after that, I literally died pre-boss 1

There's a big difference between lvl 1 and 5.
At 5 its really powerfull, requires a bit of a different mindset to the others but if you know how to use it its one of the more powerfull ones.
I do play it more ranged style the few times I have.

On mouse kbm it's easier to fine-tune aiming and you can attack 180° out of a dash
On controller movement feels smoother imo
The auto aim is either nice or feels bad depending on who you ask
You can turn it off but controller feels way worse without it
I'm personally having a good time with it
Also I think most speedrunners use controllers but don't quote me on that xD
