Any word on the cross-save patch? Last I hear it was aiming to come out in October. Also I was wondering if it would also allow saves to go from the Switch to PC? I bought the Switch version first and would love to be able to choose to play my save file on either/or, depending on if I'm at home or out and about.

That's generally how cross-saves usually work, but this statement has me questioning their implementation of it (taken from their statement after the 1.0 launch):

Shield gets a lot of value from poseidon for attack and stuff that has flat damage on bounce
% damage increases on attack, statuses and flat damage boons for special, ideally
Spear is very versatile and can do either

The base attack is high enough you can go for % bonuses but also quick enough you can go for stuff like zeus
Special is a little trickier, it has innate backstab on the pull back (assuming they're facing you of course) which works well with Athena tho
