He feels significantly harder esp. after beating the main game (w/o extreme measures) and I don't recall the triple boiling blood + thrust combo. Could be just me being rusty though.

I can see one with 2 new Gods,Hestia (Fire/Lingering AoE) and Hephaestus (Armor/Armor Breaking/similar to Hermes) taking place in the Mourning Fields as an alternate route to the Asphodel Meadows where maybe 2 chthonic gods (Eric and Nemesis?) are at war with one another and you have to go through a battlefield (siege weapon and fortification to destroy?)and maybe take a side each run to progress deciding which of the two you will fight in the end. Enemies could be zombies to keep with the undead theme of the underworld. Daedalus could be the encounter of that region, repairing the war machines. Cocytus, the river of lamentation, would go great with the mourning fields. Could be unlocked post epilogue at a request from Nyx to settle a different between her daughters.
Now to come up with a Isles of the Blessed dlc.....

the reason keepsakes took me so long (well aside from my first 50 runs being pre-1.0 or before achievements) was because I would always use survival keepsakes for the final 2 bosses, and only half of each run would level a different type, towards the end I would use the leveling keepsakes even if they meant I would lose the run to the final boss
