When you close out Steam, make sure you've ended the Steam Bootstrapper in your task manager.
Otherwise it'll pretend to restart but it'll really just be reopening. 👁️

I think Family Favorite is neat, but ultimately weaker and less interesting than it's alternative

It's not necessary to start over. A few dialogues will seem a bit out of place because they sound like they should have happened earlier, but that doesn't detract much from the experience.

so yeah, just completed a new run with the new rail weapon, ummmm yeah, the combo of that and the legendary Aphrodite perk that charms enemies makes it so that Hades can't actually hit you, nor can anyone else, as the hit rate of that weapon is so fast it procs the charm constantly
