it's not a completely separate platform, though. you still play your games through steam, uplay, origin etc. the thing is, the game runs on a distant computer, but the footage of gameplay is streamed to your device.

geforce now has to add the game and can't do without the publisher's permission, and there has to be certain amount of demand from the audience. I just wrote to ask if there were people here who wanted to see the game on the platform, so we can post some threads on the forums.

I mean, if I were geforce, and admittedly I am not, I don't think I'd go pestering anyone for a pre-1.0 launch for permission. Anyone who wants to give permission that soon would probably seek them out first.
Granted, there's nothing for SG to be embarrassed about and I don't think anything massive is going to change between now and 1.0 (though there will obviously be some changes), but most companies I've worked with/for want to get as much as possible "just right" before building the hype train.
There are exceptions, and sometimes those work, but other time they're pretty disastrous launches.

i don't really take flurry jab myself but i wouldn't doubt that something like this happens. especially considering a similar thing with high rarity flurry cast, where it becomes near impossible not to shoot multiple casts no matter how quickly or lightly you tap the button/key

Long answer is, because making model changes kind of requires a lot of effort, it'd be a lot of work for very little gain, especially when they're trying to put the game through early access. it'd require them hand drawing and then making a new model for every one, iirc.

Well, even at the moment, Hades has become the most popular Roguelike game. And the reviews confirm this. Because for this genre, the developers added a huge amount of content to the game and the game is therefore very replayable. It would be logical after the release to create for it also paid DLC.
