if by "Epic Cloud" you mean cloud saves on Epic Games Store, then I don't know, there's a topic on it in #hades-faq where it says they're still working on it, but I myself don't know when that was posted or what the progress is. I assume the faq will be updated when it is supported though

What's nice about the EGS is that I don't use it as a launcher, whereas Steam and Origin are more invasive and require them to be run to let me play my games.
I turn on the EGS once every week or so, and it is even courteous enough to completely close if I click on the X whereas Steam, Origin, and Discord require me to turn off the executable from my taskbar.

I open the EGS for ten minutes (I've got super dank internet) whenever I see something in Patch Notes and close it until I have reason to open it again.
Sometimes the update needs prodding to get going, but that's no different from my experience of Steam.

And an overarching story and reason as to why this is happening. It's not with a questline, persay, but a huge incentive to keep going is the story elements on top of the gameplay.

Hoping someone has experience with this, have a 3440x1440 ultrawide. I know that the gameplay area isn't ultrawide and Hades shows artwork there. Is that artwork distracting? Is there anyway to select black bars instead?

Yeah most 2D games have to have a set aspect ratio because of they way the game is designed.
This is handled rather well here - wish more games did it that way - but I've gotten used to some games just doing the black bar thing which is fine. Lights out and ignore it lol

yeah i was skeptical of the gun's 5-shot special hammer upgrade until I tried it and realized it basically compensates for the special's main downside (how easy it is to evade) AND serves as a damage-boost if you stack them

After buying it yesterday, I Played about 7 1/2 hours yesterday and today combined.
Hades is really well made in almost every aspect.
The atmosphere feels isolated and the music is amazing.
I made it twice to the third stage boss, and already unlocked all the weapons, and it feels like I've barely scratched the surface.
The only thing that's bothering me is the replayability when I finish collecting most of the stuff, but I think I could go on for at least 20-25 hours with how things are looking right now.
All in all I'm amazed and a bit ashamed that it took me this long to buy hades.

well only a handful of chara can even be given ambrosia, but by the time the game is done, every character that can be gifted (except probably hades) can be given ambrosia

This game had me so confused. I was so bummed when i died the first and even second time. Then I put it down for a while. After the third time I got the hint. It's a lot like real life to me. Well done devs! Can't believe NPC's respond to how I died. I have become an addict. I cant remember the last time i played a game for 6 hours in one day.. My I ask whet the average tries are for escaping? or does that question belong in the spoilers channel?

really just depends. people more experienced with these kind of games can get their first successful escape in minimal tries. others may take 10, 20, 30 hours, there really is no average

It depends on the person and play style. I think I took about 29 runs before my first successful run and I like roguelites. It doesn’t really matter though, as long as the player is having fun with it.

Find whichever color head gives you the most trouble and target it first. I can say that, unless you're right in that area, you can kinda ignore the yellow ones; they're the only ones without any ranged attacks, which help tremendously.

Also, focus fire. Pick a head that looked at you wrong and focus as much damage on it as you can until it dies; the fewer heads you have to deal with, the slower you can take the fight, and the less you have to worry about.
(Just know that on higher Heat, that won't do you as much good. However, a really good general tip is just choose a dangerous enemy to die first and focus it asap.)
