I don't think they'd nerf bow (or if they do, maybe reduce the effectiveness of the native piercing a bit)

also note that a common strategy for balancing is overdoing it at first and see what the response it, so if you feel like it should 10% one way or another you do 30% instead, you get much better data out of those changes, then you reign it back in after

like when fighting the hydra you are only really in danger when the extra heads spawn and even then only the 2/3 phase and even there you can clear one side first

aspho is difficult but I found focusing on aiming to the center of the map helps the shield not get lost over lava as often

I think a hotline miami-like controls for gamepad would be a good addition. I like playing with gamepad but I feel like I'm opting for the weaker control scheme because I can't move and attack in different directions simultaneously. Especially the sword feels like a different weapon when you use different controls.

Do people like the sword? It very annoys me that the third attack can't be dash cancelled. Seem it the only weapon with this feature. On the other hand, boon for 400% single attack sword is pretty good

With the sword, dont thrust and athena for attack was a decent hydra killing run for me. Also ive killed the hydra with the special build with the sword but it feels a bit slow. Sword is definitely not my favorite weapon.

But the thing with scythe is that it wont be Kronos scythe

Because most of the weapons we already have didnt exist in myth

Their shared element is that they were wielded by the 6 elder gods when said elder gods fought back the titans

Remaining 2 elder gods are Demeter and Hestia, so my guess is Scythe and Greek Fire, since those fit them the best

There are persistent upgrades that you can get from the Mirror in your room between runs, which you purchase with resources collected during runs
