Chaos gates have a cooldown (10 for tart, 8 for aspho and ely), which means that if you get a chaos gate in chamber 1 of tartarus, you can get another one in chamber 11 to skip chamber 12, tartarus' final chamber. When the cooldown is over, this does not necessarily mean a chaos gate will appear, just that it is eligible to randomly appear. Buying a Light of Ixion resets the cooldown to the maximum like what happens normally when a gate spawns.
I'd need to check the probability, but know that you're probably going to get offered 2 or 3 chaos gates across a run.

The buff doesn’t apply to spins so you’re uber hammer dependent to hit a build that can properly utilise the +% from it (either serrared point or explosive launcher -> charged skewer) and even then it’s not as good as like achilles would be with flurry jab or serrated since we’re talking hammer dependent anyways

those are buffs that have a limited amount of uses as opposed to a duration
it makes sense to do it like sgg did from a code-standpoint. you just decrement some buff uptime variable every time the action is used (instead of having to check whether, for every hitbox that connects, the source of damage is one of the ones that are affected by the buff). This is more efficient, though it breaks consistency with other mechanics.

Is what's happening to me normal?
It's very common for first time bow users and even long term Hades fans to experience standing-striking-itus. Roughly 1 in 3 Hades players will experience it within their lifetimes. It can be a long-running, persistent illness if left untreated.
How do I treat standing-striking-itus?
Start dash-striking when you use bow. Dash striking on bow acts just like a regular strike, but it charges 50% faster, and deals 66% of the base damage.
This allows bow to play far more aggressively, thanks to increased mobility and decreased gaps in damage. Dash strikes also benefit from dash-strike damage boosts, sourced from Artemis's Hunter Dash, and Chaos's Lunge boons, allowing for even higher damage scaling. When you wrap everything up, you end up with a safer, faster, and higher damaging package than what you had before, and this is usually sufficient treatment for 95% of standing-striking-itus sufferers.

Each npc has a specific trigger
some are just from going down dialouge sequences
others are for specific actions
If you keep going through runs you’ll end up talking to hades and persephone and zeus about setting up a little get-together party with all the olympians and cthonic deities given how severed the family is

Artemis is kinda just always good

and then every other aspect will just slot her in wherever since her secondary boons are generically strong
