Felt underwhelming so I’m confused if I can move on to a different game

there can be 1000+ hours of gameplay in hades depending on how far you're willing to push the game

and anywhere between around 50-ish and 200 hours of main story depending on how fast you play the game

and if your definition of story is getting every single unique line of dialogue, then sorry, you need to do more than one playthrough for that and play one of the files for quite a long time (one of them requiring you to have 500 meg-kills on one file) :))))

If you like the weapon, then yeah. The spin attack is pretty bad anyway, and Aspect of Hades (the spear aspect that costs 2 blood) is garbage. So the Aspect of Achilles is the obvious choice. It’s really good with pretty much any build (also remember to go to #h1-for-new-players )

Tldr: get aspect of Achilles and if ur offered the flurry jab hammer, take it

Opening certain duoboons on certain aspects

For example, those that have innate crit may benefit from a strong %-based attack instead of extra 15% critical chance, so picking up an artemis cast can provide a Heart Rend or Deadly Reversal opener without filling the attack or special (which one may - on the four swords for instance - need by someone else)

if you want to do absolutely everything there is to do, that's probably a 5000 hour project or so.
if you only are talking about all achievements, that's more along the lines of 50 to 200 hours depending on how much you take your time.
if you mean beat 10 runs to get to credits, that likely will take along the lines of 20 to 30 hours
if you only mean beating a run, that can take anywhere between 2 to 10 hours

You’ve got credits but there is also an epilogue after

and while the story ends there are still loads more character interactions and you can just play your heart out on your save after

Hades has ||3|| endings. First Escape||, Credits Roll and Family Feast||. I always recommend going for first escape, only keep going if you're having fun!

There's plenty of content after first escape, but you've gone through the core Hades experience.

if you have put darkness into authorithy I'd refund and swap to the other too

Fated persuasion is strong but it’s so expensive I’d upgrade these other ones first

and dark foresight is so strong it’s hard to not say go for it first

Deep pockets really helps you with build consistency because it means you can take any shop early game/ potentially dodging a god that would waste space in your god pool and finding one you need for your build

you can only have two hammers per run, at least without buying the anvil in styxshop. if any of the two hammers are skipped, the game tries to offer you another one afterwards.
you are eligible for the first hammer from tartarus onward, and you're eligible for second hammer from elysium onward.

so if hammers seem rare, that's because they're meant to be. however suffice to say the game wants the player to have 2 hammers by the end of the run.

Movespeed bonuses multiply together, and it takes your final extra movespeed % and multiplies it by the number on your Rush Delivery

and gives you that much global additive

so like hyper sprint by itself puts you at 200% movespeed, so (200% -1) is just 100% bonus movespeed

and then for a common rush delivery you just take half that as global additive

If you’ve completed a run on 0 heat with a weapon, you won’t be able to get bounties from 0 heat anymore, and have to go up sequentially in heat

Otherwise you can complete a run on 0 heat to get those bounties
