watch for the pokes, and only reel if you hear the FLASHy sound/see the flashy effect (whichever your brain registers first, i tend to listen for the sound)
if you get 3 pokes, the fourth is guaranteed to be a bite
at least that's the advice that would have helped me, i used to reel in too early because i would try and anticipate the bite (unfortunately fish are master manipulators in this regard)

There can only be three fake bobs, so the fourth bob is always real if the first three were fake. Fake bobs have an interval of 2-5 seconds while the real bob has an interval of 1-2 seconds. So if it takes more than 2 seconds, it should be a fake bob. Meaning you should look for the real bob within a short time after you start fishing or within a short time after a previous bob.
Personally, I just look for the white flash above the bobber and ignore the bobber itself. Some players have said they have better success when putting their thumb on the bobber to not get distracted by that, so maybe you could give that a try.
A Perfect Catch means catching a fish within 340ms. Perfect Catches are 50/50 on being a legendary or rare fish. Any other catch is 50/50 on being a rare or common fish.

The cast is unique in that it's the only part of your arsenal that doesn't change between weapons, because of this gods can augment it in very unique ways, that can be very powerful if invested in
Your base cast besides the upgrades from the mirror can seem pretty piddly and uninteresting, but it really shines when given a primary boon, and some builds can be built entirely around casting

cast is useful as a ranged option on some weapons, it's good for quick damage on slow weapons, it can have uses for deflect or knockback with athena/poseidon
it's good AoE with dionysus, poseidon or Zeus.
And yeah you can go all in on casts and have it be your main damage dealing with lightning phalanx, ice wine, hunting blade or beo mirage shot to OS the entire game

So to start, download modimporter for new format mods, it'll be an .exe file. Put that in ...\Hades\Content for now. Then download the mod of your choice and unpack the zip, it'll be a folder with the same name as the mod, it should contain .lua files and other stuff. Grab it and put it in ...\Hades\Content\Mods\, if that folder doesnt exist, create it. Then you run the modimporter.exe that we put earlier and you should be good to go. Make sure you download dependencies for the mods you want to run first.

I don't recall exact numbers, but it's pommable. And there are extra boons to boost hangover damage and the number of stacks.
The trouble with Chiron is that there are only a couple of good builds for it, but it is quite beginner friendly.

Example of the former would be the reunite orpheus-eurydice and for the latter is something like charon
They are in theme of the character so you can guess some

If you don't wanna spend your time just guessing, check the wiki

Start looking into builds.
Choose a weapon or two and stick with them for a bit.
Pause while you choose the upcoming door to stop the IGT.
Start practicing with EM2 and FO1/2.
Learn a bit about each biome, when can shops be offered, how long is the biome, how do chaos gates work etc, just strengthen your game knowledge a bit.
Then it's just practice. Watch this vid for more in depht info and look into weapon-specific guides when you reach certain breakpoints like sub10 etc etc.

Yea it happens. Some luck is involved early on until you get more consistent because your room clearing is relatively slow compared to the free rooms such as a Patroclus late in Elysium etc so you'll have to work on those aswell, the guide talks a bit about spawn manipulation and how to clear rooms but it's general, and honesly right now you dont need more than that. Just practice and get to know the builds and try to stick with them, dont reset much and finish runs.

Playing vanilla will get you more experience with the weapons and enemies. I would suggest you look into the speedrunning modpack at sub10 or even lower. It'll help you get better at specific builds and will save you time when it comes to resetting so you'll be pushing with the same foundation everytime which makes it easier and makes you more consistent

No, the final heart dialogue is cancer because she only says generic dialogues, and never gets to the quest dialogue.
To get that final dialogue, you need to have both Thanatos and Megera in the house, then you need to talk to Dusa. I did not talk to Thanatos to avoid him disappearing like he is used to. I just went to talk to Dusa first

Honestly I really like that graduating aspect of the game: as you get better your runs get longer, as such you have a greater opportunity to get tired or uninterested or starting a new run. They circumvent this by adding more and more things to do back at the House to keep your interest + make you excited to die/win
