You're hoping for Breaching Cross and Explosive Upper first and foremost.

Kinetic Launcher also a lot better than Flying Cutter.

Something you need to be careful of with Flying Cutter is that your Dash-Upper is still the normal Dash-Upper. So... if you try to do a buffed Flying Cutter after a dash, you'll do a Dash-Upper first which wastes your Giga-Cutter buff before you get to charge your Flying Cutter.

Alright. So you can piano Special>Dash, but the input window is very strict. Like at 60 fps, that would def be less than a frame apart, which is practically simultaneous anyway.

Dash>Special and Dash+Special both work. On KBM, it doesn't really make a difference which input method you use. Although due to keyboard and mouse having different input lag, the timing needs to account for that (e.g., my keyboard is pretty laggy compared to my mouse).

On gamepad, doing Dash>Special doesn't allow you to aim the Special in a different direction from the dash. If you do Dash+Special, though, you can aim your Special after the dash (need to change direction quickly for that).

That saves a lot of time from the normal Special > Dash > Dash-Strike charge sequence, condensing it to Dash+Special > Dash-Strike charge.

If you’re building Hera correctly you’ll rarely ever need dislodge damage because enemies get one shot and bosses get phased.

And in the case you don’t phase bosses, the dislodge damage is so little. Your attack is usually what phases them afterwards.

Got a good amount of stones and good scaling on top of them, you can see my Casts dislodge during the invincibility bubble so if you had something like Exit wounds, it wont do much. The other thing is that my attack plays an important part in terms of supplementary damage, bow has very good hammers and I happen to have some of the best ones here.

That's how much bonus full burst damage you get from +1 ammo. So without any bonus damage, a Grasp is equivalent to +33% Cast damage. That's not factoring in the time it takes to load all your ammo or for all of your Casts to go boom etc.

With High Confidence and Family Favorite, you'll have +50% bonus damage normally, so the first Grasp would be equivalent to +50% Cast damage for full bursts.

And you'll also get more procs from Snow Burst.

That said, for somewhat competitive times, you'll want both either way.

Piercing Wave is way better.

The go-to DPS rotation on Nemesis is Special > Dash-Strike ×2 > repeat.

Flurry Slash doesn't buff your Dash-Strikes at all and in fact makes it impossible to do a Dash-Strike without getting a standing Attack after it. Which... really hurts actually.

Similarly, Flurry Slash prevents you from doing a standing attack into empty dash. It becomes impossible to do an empty dash immediately after a standing attack. You'll always get a Dash-Strike instead.
