The “hard” part is making sure you mix enough and not too much since you essentially whip eggs and sugar and then whip cream and sugar, fold those together, assemble then chill for abt 4 hours

Like iirc the recipe i used was
4 egg yolks + 1/4 cup sugar in one bowl and 3/4 cup heavy cream + 1/4 cup sugar in another
You whip the eggs and sugar until triple in size ish and is pale yellow and the whipped cream until medium peaks then fold the 2 together
Then just dip the cookie of choice in coffee and start layering
