It’s not enough to base Selene viability on

Twilight is nice, wolf howl has uses, night bloom can play the game for you, and total eclipse godsent can clear a whole damn room. But none of these really make Selene viable on more than a few aspects

Like some of them are a no-brainer to take IF YOU GOTTA. But it’s not something you specifically try to build towards unless it’s to be funny

You can do some VERY VERY funny stuff with Selene with the right build

But these are such edge cases

Since you first have to choose to take Selene

Then roll the 3/10 that you get the hex you want

Then hope you get the god that goes with it

And then hope that stuff like preparation and growth are in good spots on the path of stars

Also you may need an extra path if you get a bad path and your moon phase when choosing hex doesn’t give you enough points

It’s just a lot of stuff that has to go right to get a good use out of hex for anything other than a panic button like wolf, twilight, or phase

I will not argue I haven’t had a ton of fun using Selene before, but I’ve never argued it has ever made my build a winning or losing one based on having her

I've been watching streams and people on this server, and everyone runs the same Strength loadout lol, with boatman + artificer, it just makes sense

Ended up using the Hades card build and pig so I had every arcana on at the end and the healing hex, which I almost never use. But that fight is so long it was perfect. Used 3 heals, two godly and 2/3 death defy and got it done.
