Find the ghost room as fast as you can and set up crucifixes to make sure it doesn't hunt by you (have someone keep incense just in case)
Take some time to memorize basic ghost behaviors and traits to narrow down your options without needing evidence
Outside of that it's just practice and repetition

im playing on intermediate and the ghost just sometimes doesnt do anything for a very long time and the ghost would be in the room but not do the evidence things like write in a book or not have fingerprints on UV but after we guess turns out it those evidence were for the given ghost, is that normal for a difficulty this low?

You can plant the items in a room and then just walk away. You don't need to sit in the dark , waiting for it to write. Plant the waiting evidence and then go sit in the van.

I mean it is likely that the ghostai function/method in code is not implemented in a way that allows adding new ghosts really easily and it broke something.

ASWANG

• Starting speed is similar to that of a slow twin, however the longer it has sight of you the faster it becomes.
• However instead of taking 26 seconds like most ghosts to get to max LOS speed, it only takes the ASWANG, 17 seconds.
  KORMOS
• The Kormos is a combination of Banshee, Yokai and revenant.
• The Kormos is blind, and its hunting is based on your footsteps.
• Hunt will start at normal speed, if it senses your footsteps it will reach max speed (similar to a revenant) instantly.
• It is completely blind and will not see you if you are completely still, meaning if you stand still in front of the ghost, you will not be seen/killed. However if you have other hunters with you and they are moving, they will be hunted
  • If you are walking while crouched, it can sense you within 10 metres.
  • If you are walking while standing, it can sense you within 15 metres.
  • If you are sprinting, it can sense you within 30 metres.

Was playing on the challenge mode friend and I hide in front of sunny meadows. I guess he shuffled his feat cause that Kormos came from nowhere killed him and fucked off. I had to cover my mouth to stop myself from laughing. It was so funny as it was no evidence or anything and our first time with this ghost. No idea what it was. I lived by pure miracle

Also, aswang will not kill you if you are in a hiding spot and it finds you. For example, from the stream I watched from insym, he was hiding in an open closet and let the ghost find him, the ghost approached and when he touches the player the hunt ends without killing you. It's one of the weakness of the ghost. Interesting stuff

Yeah it totally could be the issue, I haven’t seen that one yet but as she said, there’s always a first I suppose.

this happens to me sometimes. i have to go into my mic settings on phas and disable my headset, click apply and then select my headset and apply. you'll know it works because the voice recognition bar will move up and down as you speak.
