Its random and can sometimes be hard to get with inactive ghosts

EMF5 ghosts can do any EMF reading…. Including 5…. You just have to wait. But if it doesn’t do it AT ALL for a while, you could rule it out…. But keep searching for the other evidences

If your ghost has emf5 as one of their evidence types, they have a chance to give emf5 when interacting with the environment (throwing objects, touching doors, etc), emf4 will always be ghost events

They announced Console release the month before Ascension, in July 2023. They said they'd have it out in a matter of months, clearly not having things figured out yet. They focused on the changes they'd need to make the game acceptable to Xbox/PS5 (including reworking Maple, a net positive), but along the way they kept introducing more new bugs and fixing few old ones.

They moved to community seasonal events instead of novel one-off ones (a move that made sense but was rolled out poorly and half-finished). From there the pattern has continued of putting out updates that feel rushed and half-finished without returning to improve them before moving onto the next project.

Imo from a veteran perspective, a lot of the blowup about the poorly done character update was the result of months/years of building frustration.

I don't own a current-gen console. A lot of the irritation from existing players at the time was that, while the changes they were making for console sometimes also benefitted PC players (again, like Maple rework), it was seen as taking time/resources away from moving forward with core systems at the time. And again, there were legitimate complaints about "Why are they working on X when Y is broken?" The console annoucement was a surprise to everyone, as before that they had said they didn't plan to move to console until closer to 1.0.

lol well as someone who only started last year my game crashes pretty much every time I play. I can never interact with the cameras anymore so I literally just don’t do it just to make it playable. I really enjoy the game overall so it makes me a little sad when my game crashes as it crashes the entire application and I think my system is gonna blow up

that isnt a bug, if you play with 0 grace period the ghost can instantly kill you by spawning on top of you, if you play with grace period then you arent reacting fast enough or you are running towards the ghost as its about to spawn in
