The following is a list of some of the commonly reported issues that are known and no longer need reported. This is not a complete list of all known issues and serves only to reduce the amount of repeat reports. Once you create your report, the information will be recorded and tracked internally. NOT BUGS
These commonly reported things are NOT bugs, and do not need reported.
🚫🚫🚫
- Dayan, Obambo, and Gallu do not have trophies/achievements. This is intentional!
- Selection or 'missing' items in the weekly challenge mode is intentional. These are designed with a preset loadout. This is part of the challenge.
- Twins spawning on top of a crucifix. This is because the ghost checks its physical location (not the secondary spawn point) before teleporting for the hunt. This does not need reported, as it is by design.
- Ghost photo objective stays completed after deleting ghost photo. This is intended!!
- Eye adaption will not work without a graphics card.
- Seeing cold breath with non freezing ghost
- Goryo can still change rooms when monkey paw wish is used.
- Summoning circle candles blowing out when trying to light with 0 sanity.
- Please check your key binds before reporting errors using equipment.
- Crucifix being used in truck. Ghosts in Edgefield and Woodwind can use your crux while still in the truck. This is because the crucifix is range based.
- Disturbed salt pile is no longer photographable. This is by design.

Please see these solutions to the common reports below before making your report.
If you are having a hard time picking up equipment or do not see your cursor
Navigate to your journal game options and increase your cursor size and opacity. This will allow you to see your cursor to better pick up items
If you cannot record sounds with the sound recorder, or videos with the video recorder
Make sure you press and hold the key bind you have set for Hold Use to record. It is not automatic.
If your screen is black, but you can hear game sounds and can still open your journal (default J)
Navigate to your journal video options and turn off eye adaption. Your system does not handle this game option.
You do not see many public lobbies or cannot join friends private lobbies
Make sure crossplay is turned on in your journal game options and then restart your game. You are currently viewing non crossplay servers.
Cannot get spirit box response in training
As mentioned on the instructional white board, you will want to make sure you turn off the light in the room.
Loadout is not working/not adding equipment to the truck
Check next to the loadout name on the left. If you see the ❕ You can hover over it to see what you are missing to fulfil the loadout. These will need to be fixed before you can use that loadout. For more information on how to use the shop/loadouts, you can click the ? in the upper right of the shop/loadouts screen.
You are missing your videos media page in your journal while using gamepad.
You are using the the triggers to navigate the journal tabs at the top. Use the d-pad to navigate through individual pages of the journal.
You died to a demon, but didn't get the achievement
You need to die to the demon's ability. Dying to a natural hunt, or a hunt caused by a cursed item will not award the achievement. If you died to the ability, make sure you press 'next' on debriefing to receive your rewards.
You and your friend cannot hear each other but everyone else can hear you and you can hear everyone else
Both you and your friend need to go into your blocked players tab in your journal and make sure you have not blocked each other. To remove someone from your blocked players list, press 🚫
Your ghost was acting like a shade, but it wasn't a shade
Turn the lights off in the ghost room. Ghosts cannot throw things when the lights are on.

Winter 2025 Known issues:
- Ghost can spawn out of bounds on Tanglewood
- Not enough coal to fulfill list when the list contains 6 pieces of coal
- Players stuck spot in the garage
Not a bug:
Once you upgrade your non foil ID card to the foil card, you will no longer have the non foil version, as it has been upgraded.
Players who earned the foil card first will have both, as it was not an upgrade at that point.
This is not a bug and does not need reported.
