Orbs will always be in the fav room, however, sometimes they can be hard to spot/ clipping through furniture. If you hold a video camera out, it should still give the promt to record and youll record orbs in the journal

After you smudge you have 5 seconds (7 with moroi) where the ghost is blind, use that to take a photo fast. If you want to be extra cautious, carry a second smudge or have a friend smudge after. But smudge first. After you take a photo, you have a small period where you cannot swap gear

question : the dayan can only be female, so if you get a male model or name for the ghost you can rule it out. i remember this also being true or atleast make it less likely for them to be a certain ghost based on gender for other types of ghosts as well, but cant find anything in the phasmo cheat sheet. are there other ghosts that behave like this where the cheat sheet simply isnt mentioning it? also, did it use to be that way for some other kind of ghost and was patched out later? that would explain why i remember it

2. are you sure it really was a spirit and you didnt just read wrong at the end?

Ah, That one. Its not just the breaker. Its pretty much every doors hitbox is too large. You can grab the front door from the breaker box or the lightswitch in the hallway. You can also grab closet doors through walls

Gallu is really easy;
make it walk through salt, and then after 2 seconds try another salt
Gallu cannot walk through salt again until after it's hunted

also with tier 1 and tier 2 candles I THINK if u throw it on the ground while its lit, then replace and light it, the onryo test still works from 20 secs after that

Gallu can walk through multiple salts sequentually because there's a 2 second delay for it to get angry
once it's angry, it can't walk through salt again
so put down any amount of salt to be sure it will walk through it, you can put down multiple
and then wait 2 seconds and see if it walks through salt again

so you can put down multiple salts so cover more ground, that's fine, but don't rule out Gallu when it steps in multiple salts quickly in a row

if a crucifix goes off, then it remains angry,
it doesn't stop being angry until AFTER a hunt is completed, then it becomes 'tired'

when it's angry, crucifixes only have like half a range, anyway
