So, seeing 1/5th the amount of events of a regular ghost, basically
I thought there were no events at all, but I guess ghosts are already generally passive at 90%, getting an event in the early minute is usually already pretty rare and reserved for the very aggressive ghosts

Slightly, ghosts interact with stuff, so you double the interaction rate for writing
But it helps more to remove items from the ghost room to increase the chances it'll interact with the book

The ghost of a drowned person
when close, the footsteps are very loud and sloshy-sounding
also more audible from further away (like an inverse Myling)

the Sodden would also get very aggressive when there's running water, hunting at 65% if a sink or shower is running within hearing distance (so it doesn't even need to be in the ghost room, just near enough to hear it)

if it can't turn them on, then you can't get dirty water either, that's a choice for the devs to make, but plenty of ghosts say 'fuck you' to the media book already, so I wouldn't mind

I randomly came up with this but it would be cool to have a ghost that has a fast movement speed but can't have direct LoS with the player model

So a fast but blind ghost (can still sense electronics and talking)

And it could detect lit incense (it wouldn't stop it from killing you, just slow it down)

Since every hunt would just be roaming the entire time, as long as you're in a back corner of the room it wouldn't matter if there's no cover since it can't see you

yeah there can be the infamous "1-frame" event, or if the ghost spawns on you it will immediately stop the event, so multiple doors closed would be your clue this instance.

Candle tier doesn't matter, but yes with a single candle on a T2 cruci when you're in hunting range.

keep relighting it, if it goes out twice in under 20s, it's an Onryo. If the cruci burns while it's lit, not an Onryo

Yeah the idea is that Onryo will blow out a flame instead of burning a cruci when it tries to hunt. Firelights and the T2 cruci have the same radius (4m).

the only thing that doesnt make sense is how they can tell if your playing an old version by just downgrading it on steam. Unless you specifically bring up your screwed up save file and they know by how its messed up that you were screwing around on old versions of the game

I don’t see anything specific in the EULA about old version. But they still can’t help if it messes your save and in the #rules it states here that only specific people have been given permission to use it (partners mainly)

honestly im doing a 10.55x with 150 ghost speed and honestly is WAY easier than normal speed XD

be near a hiding hiding spot but not too close and wait for it to see you and smudge it

then take picture fast and close the door if thres any behind you that way youre safer and hide in the hiding spot

My struggle isn't getting the time for the photo, I try to loop the ghost until I am unable to. But, I keep getting taking a photo mid blink, so it doesn't count.

Has anyone ever had this happen? Me and my friends were doing a run. They kept saying it stepped through salt when I didn't see it. I went to the van and there were 3 tier 3 salt still there. they kept saying they say tier 2. whenever they said they were holding tier 2 temps, I didn't see them hold anything. You will have trouble outrunning them so find good hiding spots and take smudges. You may have to go back in after it hunts to get side objectives and a photo. He is fast on that level. Good luck
