Some ghosts are definitely easier to spot than others but unless you get super unlucky, it's still doable

Then you weren't within the range of the cruci, or it spawned outside of the cruci range. The only ghost that sometimes bypasses cruci is twin and that one doesn't even bypass cruci. It just checks in it's physical location

It can be used to gather Ectoplasm, Bones, Blood, Hair, and other items.
These items are treated like media and give a small payout, with certain items being worth more.

Maybe some ghosts don't drop specific Forensics. Also gives UV a use outside of Fingerprints.
