if you happen to break line of sight by lowering your character and hiding behind the island, it wont matter. you have your flashlight on. the ghost needs 3 points of detection, or just keep your flashlight on.

Context. The T1 Camera (To my knowledge) is not considered an electronic device, until you take a photo. Then for 30 seconds it is considered an electronic device. Now, with that said, there was a bug, where, if you took a photo with the T1 camera and quickly swapped off to another item or freehand, it would for that entire match be considered an electronic device, there would be no 30 second timer anymore.
So, I think recently, they updated how the camera swapping works to fix this issue, which, to be fair, the original issue, wouldn't have affected as many as this does now, but, none-the-less, I believe that is why you have to wait to swap from your camera. As to why it affects all camera's. I have no earthly idea, this is just information I am regurgitating from Insym.

at the moment when onryo was TRYING to give a hunt, you lit a candle, THEREFORE this source stopped the hunt and blow out - that's why onryo blows out candles in less than 20 seconds (including not only regular hunts starting from 40%, but also abilities after every 3 extinguishings)

Ghost exited dots state as soon as you took the photo giving you the illusion it was a phantom, the dots ghost is visible in the photo you took meaning that it can't be a phantom, simply a misunderstanding on your part on how the phantom works

huh that is very interesting, if you definitely don't have friendly ghost setting turned on then I have to say it's a bug, I've just tried it out though and had no problems, if you are the host try lighting the candles instead of your friend, also try on singleplayer and see if anything changes. Restart your game and see if that changes anything and lastly file a bug report. also are other cursed objects working to cause a hunt?

My friend was the room host in these instances. I will try it solo and see what happens. We never play with friendly ghost. I don't think we tried any other cursed objects to force a hunt. I'll quicky try them out now solo.

We had very slow hunts and turns out it was an oni? I can see how it was very visible but it was so slowww. Not quite sure how that could have happened? Yes my game did glitch for one of the hunts but for the rest my computer was working perfectly fine.

It was blinded by the smudge and I went into the spot during the 5 second window of it getting blinded. You can even hear the Rev slowly walk after smudging so it initially didn't have vision on me.

We can literally prove that. As far as the definition of a bug, it's this: "a bug in a computer program refers to an unintentional error or defect in the software that causes it to behave unexpectedly or incorrectly". We can prove we did nothing wrong with digging into the metadata of the screenshots and the video. I'm sure there's someone in the Discord who can look at that for you. I'm not going to be accused of being a hacker or a cheat for literally no reason.
