In Phasmophobia, the Yurei is the ghost that can fully close doors outside of hunts and ghost events. Any ghost could always full close a full open door. Thats never changed. Yurei did it more often due to ability forcing it.
Now all ghosts shut doors or full open due to how it works now. There is rarely just slight move of door since this last update and this is for all ghosts. And yurei thing has been slightly changed.

The problem is only when Yurei is in tents (on Campsite and Camp) because there is no way to identificate Yurei's ability. It's absolutely the same as any ghost just touches the door. Also there is a bug that Yurei can go out of his favorite room after incense when his room is a tent (most of the tents) that you can go around (and some other rooms). So Yurei on these maps is a big problem.

I kinda disagree. You don’t unlock the sound recorder until you’ve leveled up a bit, so you’ll have the basic grasp on the game (and it’s one of the earliest gear unlocks so you won’t be confused with a bunch of other stuff either)

i have a theory that Yurei's ability and the new slam event still co-exist. the new slam event is more like an instant close sorta thing, which the Yurei's ability had never acted like. the Yurei's door "slam" ability, was always more like a slow close from fully open to fully closed, never a fast slam like all ghosts can do now. I don't see why they would've removed or changed the Yurei's ability, since it's different from the new event, unless they did remove it because it's similar

The issue with designing something like the Mimic in games like this is how effective its whole mimic thing is relates to RNG; I’ve had a mimic hunt as a Demon off rip -> deogen the next hunt and then phantom by using its wander ability to catch us in the breaker room; Mimics can be scary but juicing them up more would just make them too funky

It’s different for everyone; Mimics will give themself away often but so will Twins and Goryos and Demons and Wraiths and Jinn’s and a lot of other ghosts

Yes so the first base one is that any fire source will act as a crucifix if it is in that range when it tries to hunt and upon that further is after three extinguishers of any flame it will try to hunt if there's not a crucifix or another fire source nearby
Then secondly they can blow out the same candle I believe under 20 seconds or at 20 seconds whatever the heck it is
And then the third thing is they can never light a candle/fire

65 hunt sanity
can't light candles nor hunt near them
blow out 3 candles --> insta hunt if possible
blows out candles more than other ghosts

Foolproof way to Onryo test: 1. Be in hunting range (lower sanity), 2. Place lit firelight on top of T2 crucifix. 3. Keep it lit! Relight when ghost blows it out.

If the cruci burns with it lit, not an Onryo. If the ghost blows out the candle twice in under 20s, it is an Onryo.

Its not really changes just is a little weird.
Basically yurei double touch is making door closes slow when ability used. Normal door closes are much faster.
