Mimics pick a ghost, and imitate its abilities, then they switch to another. But they don't acquire that ghost's evidences, mimics have their own three evidences + "fake orbs" which look just like ghost orbs but they're not listed as evidence.
Mimics have UV evidence, so if they mimic an Obake, they can even make the 6-finger handprint

Yes, that was a reward from the 2024 halloween event. We got the blood moon weather with it. It caused the sky to be red, ghost to be 15% faster, and sanity drain to be increased

My Apoc 2 is at 12.25x while I farm. I have the generator on at the start, but I can't sprint. Ghost is normal but I can't use flashlights or get any evidence or use any objects

Realistically Apoc 2 can be just a normal no evidence run but you and the ghost are normal speeds minus sprint
