I’ve seen people do challenges like “you take what you bring in and you can’t come back out until you get one telling piece of either ghost behavior or some evidence” or you have to do a perfect game in 10x or so on each map before you can move onto the next one. Stuff like that

Just a classic way that everybody has to do when that happens.. and it's a pain in the butt but it can happen with a lot of games.

Anyway the classic way to fix it is to temporarily move the second monitor above any space so you can't click on it while you're playing the game it's a real pain

And I can tell you it's not just this game cuz it happened to me on a couple of others too so it's something with one of the updates computer-wise lately

you're hunting, you force open every closet and search every hiding space without fail. players cant outloop you due to constant line of sight of not being an ai controlled opponent with a path and specific rules for how it searches or "sees"

there is a game just like this where you can search for players in closets and chase them to kill them.

out running almost every ghost is possible with your sprint, but you have to remember you only have 3s worth of sprint.

Use it wisely.

If you plan to loop the ghost, you will have to find a place where line of sight will be broken, e.g. kitchen counter island. you can search on youtube "how to loop" and psycho has a good tutorial for it.

there is a ghost type that you cannot hide from. The Deogen always knows where you are but it gets really slow the moment it catches up to you

This is where I am. I think it can be done better for sure. I still would love to see a mix of the older things to find rather than just altars and a more scavenger hunt type like the old events but possibly with community goals. I do like having individual stuff to keep interest but I want to see more than just "play the normal game and get points". Sure you want to do hunts and I don't mind rewarding higher difficulty but there were some conversations that for me were a little disheartening (not here but elsewhere).

Yeah I'll be honest the most disheartening thing for me was folks feeling that people even just potentially having the ability to claim a prize as devaluing their time in the game and the grinding that folks do. I only have a limited time to play but when I do, I'm trying to contribute but I can't put in the amount of some of y'all. I just hope they never get rid of the accessibility of the event. Grinding might be slower on Friendly Ghost but it allows me to do games with less anxiety if I need a break.

Are there any known issues with the map specific event challenges? Decided to grind a handful of games at Maple, successfully without dying, until I unlocked the T2 Crucifix at 37 again. But the progress didn't update.

Hey, can somebody explain to me why Crucifixes aren’t stopping hunts when the ghost are spawning within the radius? I’m playing on console with another pc player and other console players and we are experiencing the same thing. Are they supposed to stop hunts? I have level 2 and the radius is wide. Are we doing something wrong?

they stop hunts when ghost tries to hunt from within the radius of a cruci, unless cursed hunt then it's only t3 and with 2 charges.
stairs are weird.
ghosts can start a hunt at the edge of the radius.

There's a bug that makes flashlights stay on even though they are turned off in multiplayer. It's been in for 3 weeks. Happens at least 2 or 3 hunts a night whenever I play with friends. Never happens solo. Anyone know if there's a temporary fix until they fix the bug? I already submitted the bug report 3 weeks ago, but it is fully killing the experience for my friends and I.
