you can still test for blink when the ghost is repelled with the t3 smudge as the ghost still blinks in place.
i do agree though that the t2 smudge is better then the t3 smudge and the t1 is even better if you don't want to risk the slowdown messing up your speed listen

I turned off the electronics and it didn’t matter. I know it’s faster with the bloodmoon, but it should have been slower without the electronics on. If you could hear the difference, then I guess I couldn’t.

There was a crucifix in the dining room + kitchen as well. Plus, my friend was seeing the ghost in the parabolic microphone as a dot but not physically.

Ah, it was likely a dots hunt then (known bug, but has been in the game for quite some time now). Basically if a ghost with dots starts a hunt while in dots state it will be invisible during a hunt unless it has dots on it.

it seems like your game was laggy, it might have touched the bathroom door and while your laggy game was still registering the front door being opened
you can see the first time you opened it, it closed itself so the game was lagging I think

Just a ghost event. The campfire area is massive and ghost can show up for ghost event on like other side of campfire in shadow form making you unable to see it too.
