Dude this is such a scam. I just watched Insym's New Year stream with a slight delay and it reminded me that I haven't completed all the event maps yet
Then i was like "oh shit, dont want this to be the first event i miss" So, I quickly hopped ingame, relieved to see that the event was still ongoing until i started my first round and noticed they allready removed the snowguns. I still see the Snowmans, but cant do anything with em. Its so frustrating. 😅
I mean sure its my fault i havent done the stuff earlyer, but couldnt you just keep the event playable until you remove it completely next hotfix/patch? Custom Preset. 0 sanity, 150% for both player and ghost, and forced monkey paw. I would use the paw to wish for activity if it didn't hunt by the time I made the wish. I don't think it invalidates the achievement since I'm not forcing a hunt, but I can't think of any other reason why I didn't get it. I even made sure to hit Next, jump into a new match, and reenter the game.

Several people have reported that it must be the Demon's ability, and that they have gotten the achievement below 70% sanity.

You likely died to a normal hunt, and it tried to do it's ability during the CD in which is cannot hunt.

Since you were at 0 sanity, there is a high chance that it will hunt normally, and that any ability hunts will not count, since you would be on grace period where it cannot hunt.

I was in the house the whole time unless it can use its ability before I open the door or while it's in mid-hunt.

As I explained, it can use it's ability while still in the hunt cd, which in case the ability would fail. Or while smudged, or if crucifix is near, or if you are not in the house. For any reason. Could have killed yo uand immediately tried to do its ability in which it would have failed.

Jinn can still pop the breaker if it turns on one too many lights; they can't do it directly. Obakes (not Onryos) only have a chance to leave a 6 fingered print, and I think it's 1/6 so it's not unexpected to go a contract without seeing its special print.

I have found the secret to 3 star Ghost Photo's. Simply press the shutter button on the camera accidentally. I was kicking myself when I did it as I was trying to turn on my EMF but my mouse scroll wheel must have been haunted as it suddenly changed to camera. It was about 5 minutes later when I was going through my photo's when suddenly "When did I take a photo of the ghost???". The fact that you cannot see the ghost should be overlooked.

I thought eye adaptation was vision getting brighter slowly over time in darkness and darkens over time in light. You should also get 'flashbanged' by sudden light sources like in real life when you're in a dark room.

It's not really darkening over time as much as it is your eyes just readjusting to a proper level of photosensitivity

You have a light-reactive protein in your retinas called rhodopsin that activates in low-light to make your retinas absorb more light and give you better vision in dark areas. That's why it appears brighter when you first turn on a light

Correct - you need a new GPU (and possibly a new computer along with it, if you're using a laptop or a very old desktop PC).

How does this add up? This seems very, very bugged. Ghost room was Picnic area in front of the log cabin btw, so not like there were any space issues. Ghost was very active in there too.

The top circle is the time you spent in the ghost room.
I guess it's maple lodge and if so I don't really know the picnic area all that well, but it may be small and the ghost could just roam a lot (or roam to you and walk back a lot)
