as a budget option, she can quickly apply some lightning vulnerability with her weapon > QTE but this isn't a common recommendation because early game is more focused on VBm or ice teams.

her use case went up when we got cerulean flare too

but that isn't relevant right now

i don't see eden weapon on their account (so supporting with Eden will be very awkward/slow), nor do i see ScI or HoTr or HoFi with dkey weapon. I do think PV can be within cheap considerations as a result for HoO dps. However I would still lean towards RC and VBm since those are more useful.

Anyway to summarize if you do restart, the main things to expect to lose permanently or will be hard/costly to get back will be:

• Costumes/Outfits. The past free event ones will probably return in time capsule event shops. However, there's no guarantee to this.
• Herrscher of Origin Mei valkyrie. She is available in Reserve Work battle pass shop but this takes a long time to save for, and is not worth it. Other past gacha S ranks are now easily farmable in War Treasury shop.
• Various high rarity weapons and stigmata. Most are probably available in Exchange Shop, Foundry, Reserve Works Shop but these will be costly and take a long time to save for. Not worth it.
• Login Days (main menu > phone at bottom right > login)
• Past event Emblems/Frames

but anyway this is just so you can get an idea. It seems like you're choosing to not restart so let's talk more about HoO and SpA.

Anyway going back to what QT said,

For any team you can consider the following:

• VBm Coralie latest free support with universal Total Damage buffs and debuffs. Complicated to use. Can support Astral Ring making her top priority of farmables to work on.
• RC Pardofelis quick Total Damage debuff with her purple combo or ultimate. Debuffs are a bit less common making them more valuable. Only needs A rank for her debuff making her very cheap.

For HoO dps she's a lightning dps, so you'll consider lightning supports such as

• VBs Helia. Similar release to VBm but is more restricted in use so she's not as recommended. Can still give a long elemental buff on weapon active, and buff lightning stuff on ultimate. No need to max her as high as coralie.
• Fischl (PV). A rank can apply a lightning debuff with weapon > QTE
  There are other lightning supports such as

  There are other farmable options for lightning such as:
• Eden (Golden Diva). Having her signature weapon lets you remove some actions to access her effects. Not having it means you'll need to do further attacks and spend more time on her. Her main debuff that triggers on paralyze is locked behind SSS rank too.
• Fallen Rosemary Rita (FR). Also wants her signature weapon PRI arm form (too costly) for alot of conveniences. Complicated valkyrie. Has aged qte conditions (ignite) that aren't easy to use anymore.
  So i don't really recommend these.

I don't really have much to add for SpA's case (spina astera Rita). Other fire support options like raven are far worse (relies mainly on ult but has terrible sp regen)

The main support stigmata i can see here are

• paganini B. Boosts total damage but the wielder needs to use a charged attack (hold attacks, but some valks are combo attack only and cannot use this). PV can use this but would need to do extra actions
• Fu hua musician set. 2pc gives a short total damage buff when the holder leaves the field. M piece also buffs fire.
• Theresa Gluttony T. Makes the enemy drop candy that buffs you decently. A holder that can deal off field hits is ideal (RC, CN. Not VBm)

Maybe you have, or can craft

• ogier T
• Roald 3pc
  buffs elemental damage slightly

You also have

• Margrave B but this needs 2pc to activate. (craftable in foundry as g3 but this is too expensive and not worth it)
• Holmes B but this needs the holder to deal bleed damage, and only buffs physical for a short duration (less than 15 seconds, which is the duration of most dps uptime before astral ring. After astral ring it's 25 seconds.) (also g3 craftable. not worth)
• Tsiolkosky T doesn't support on it's own. It is VBm's signature stigmata and can be crafted from foundry. 3pc is important if you choose to do this. Beware this costs source prisms which new valks do need. It takes 21 to max out a full set but you only have 15 right now. I recommend NOT crafting this now but remember it for later.

if you need further help on putting this altogether we can discuss further. You also need to know how to actually play the teams but i covered this slightly earlier for each valk already as well. Loosely speaking, use both supports to buff your dps, then have your dps deal damage until the effects run out. Then repeat.

yeah it looks pretty solid. Main things i have in mind are

• With how weak things at ag2 is, would it be better to not double outburst but instead go through p1 without it, and then use it entirely on p2? The unused surplus phantom in p1 could help with this.
• I'm kinda wondering about start of transition with HLE's weap > ult. You do it again after exiting transition so this isn't to rebuff. It seems like it's mainly to consume the three stellar drains on the team sooner (since HLE ult is time stopped) and you don't have time/room to do it with Rita in the process of doing damage in p2.
  • edit: i didn't realized the timer was stopped at various points in transition so this really does cost nothing to cast and is fine to do. Disregard.
• in p2, rita could've outburst slightly sooner
• your damage seemed very safe overall throughout the run. Maybe see if you can cut out more to have the finisher happen earlier on the last bar.

Meta is emphasized because abyss gives you more gacha currency significantly from doing so

• as sairaan said, don't compare the games with eachother
• if you only care about stories/event/lore/collecting old stuff, endgame doesn't matter
• if you care about ranks and competing in any degree, endgame matters and who you pull and level also matters
• if you're half/half, you still follow meta advise and you can ask here for anything else you wanna do
• playing daily is best from getting needed resources to keep up
• sig gear is important for proper performance and for the most part whoever you pull will also want their gear
• farmable weapons and alternatives don't compare to new releases but f2p income is sufficient to pull with occasional skipping patches
• abyss is the only real mode that really cares about who you have leveled and invested into for rewards, other game modes are either easy or don't need that much effort to get the important rewards

commonly teams often bring a breach valk that do have a buff icon, and support effects are usually 25s, so you can commonly approximate off of that

but for now you can review a fight if you suspect a drop in damage due to support effects missing or expiring

if the buff did expire, its going to be a big difference

Not really, since ER auto levels your characters to max level it can be a bit tricky to clear 2.25X if you don't have decent valks. VBm can work decently well as an early option.

Consider what Sairaan said. If you don't want to restart your account for the reasons they mentioned, the process still stays the same of getting back into the game. Go through the pins in this channel and consider all the farming recommendations as a checklist, most notably VBm and her signature weapon which are both obtainable in Part 2 Chapter 1 (See the 3rd pin for how to get there). as for pulling, consider weapon as mandatory. Stigmata are no longer banner-exclusive and can be forged in the Foundry

if you're more casual and don't care about meta, ask away about any part 2 valkyries. some only lose out on damage, while others actually lose some mechanics

In general for HLE I like Eden + Kalpas for both paths and generally start trying to get that for both and then take Mobius for the SO path and Kevin for AR charging + the generically useful ones Griseo and Pardofelis which are basically always useful secondary signets which you take after you have the synergistic ones.

You have to distinguish between specialization (type) and Astral Ring attribute (tag)

I would call both of these character traits, alongside things like bleed, ignite, gather, physical damage, etc

Each specialization works differently, the leader of the team sets the specialization, but that doesn’t necessarily mean she’s the DPS. For HoHe she has Astral Ring type Wheel of Destiny I think, so in that case she is the DPS since WoD works by having only her on field (during stellar outburst)

But yeah, they work together if the other Valkyries have the AR tag that is linked to the AR type. For Wheel of Destiny, what’s linked to that is Harmonized Shadow Star

She has world star

World star corresponds to domain resonance tag

VBm has domain resonance tag

That means she has the correct tag for supporting VBs

But say you had HoHe
Well she has Wheel of Destiny
Wheel of Destiny corresponds to Harmonized shadow star (HSS)

Coralie doesn’t have HSS
But you can still use her with HoHe

It’s just that some buffs will have a reduced effect, and you won’t be able to activate any buffs that require the HSS tag

Well getting all crystals is a bit more complicated than in other popular gachas games, this games endgame is competitive where you compete with other players how fast you can kill a boss. Based on fast you then killed the boss compared to other players in your bracket you either loose/retain/gain throphies. How many trophies you have determines which rank you are in and how many crystals you get. To earn as much crystals as possible you would need to be top 50 of the whole server every single cycle, this is not really realistic for f2ps and the investment required to reach that is not worth it compared to what you get.

Hence why if you care about designs but still want a decent amount of crystals we recommend the second highest rank red lotus. Especially in EU it's quite comfortable to stay there once you have some established teams, you can also afford to skip some valks in that rank and still retain it by brute forcing/gaining the trophies you loose on other weathers

Yes but since you're on a new account you'll have to work with what you got, you need to start expending your roster somewhere.
For now your team will probably be Rita + Valkyrie blast metal + VBs/RC/ta they should all be rather close.
You can obtain in a free copy of vbm + her signature weapon in p2 story which the starter manual wants you to do anyway. If you're concerned about spoilers the amount of story required for both of the rewards is completely p1 story spoiler free, to be exact P1 and p2 story only start to connect with chapter 3ex

Would you say that to be in top 50 you must have like mega SSS characters? Or can you do it with low investment S ranks? Such as just pulling for 1 char copy an their weapon each banner etc

As in I dont have to spend thousands each patch right? Because I can comfortably spend maybe £200-£300 per patch but I cannot go higher if I want to still play other games 😭

top 50 often needs the full bis team, and some of those valks will take a while to become available again so even if u spend money to max out everything from the current banners, without the bis team you wont be able to get t50 i think

plus backpulling generally isnt recommended

Yeah like I don’t mind back pulling if it’s worth it to form teams but if I don’t have any chars that go well with said char I won’t

also i dunno if this info is helpful, but i found buying the knight bp + monthly pass was enough to comfortably pull for every new valk + weap in the patch (sometimes needing more for new dk/aop ss), just not with ranks

For EU it depends a bit on the weather but generally you can get there with S0 characters with 1 copy of the weapon. The thing is that there is something called astral operators ( AOP ) and you'd need them at ss~sss again it depends a bit on the weather( s->ss is only one copy), aops in general can be the bottleneck to retain nirvana ( the highest rank).
Then there's also divine keys and to be honest they're more of a long term project, divine keys can provide your account with a permanent +10 atk buff, that may not sound much but they add anto each other and especially in higher ranks that atk will matter. Stellar keys ( a sub category of divine keys) also provide further +5 atk for every copy until you reach sync 3 ( the max for a weapon).
For example a stellar key will provide 10 atk at sync 1, 15 at sync 2 and 20 at sync 3.
Those stellar keys are somewhat decently important but definitely increase your chances to reach t50.

Also you won't have all the battlesuits that are currently in the meta so you would need to play until you can either get them through other means or until they fall out of meta.

In general I think that with your budget it does not sound too unrealistic it's just more of a long term commitment since older players do have a bit of advantages you don't, and please make sure you actually spend money on a game that you like so I'd recommend to maybe first explore the endgame content/ combat and how you like that and then decide if you just want to stay in RL or pursue nirvana and t50 via paying etc.

Also the S0 characters assumes there weren't any other ways to option their stamps like supply shop or spending events

usually previous valks become supports for the next new valk, so if ur ok with spending money you could pull for every new valk that comes out and youd slowly build up teams that way

Thanks again for the explanation! This makes a lot of sense, could I also ask if you could maybe provide me with a list of what teams are meta right now ? Just so I know who to potentially pull for in the future? Although it’s bad to backpull id still like to form some of these teams since I assume they’ll be rerunning at some point!

As for divine keys I only have like the guns that give 4% fire dmg I don’t have anything else in there yet I honestly have no idea how I’m going to work on that 😭

So far I really love the combat and I spent like £150 maybe so far since I started playing but i would like to get to nirvana at some point, is the crystal difference huge from rl to nirvana?

£300 per patch will comfortably get you in top 3 on the server every round if you know how to play the game but thats after long process of building your account

the thing is even if you throw money at the screen some stuff just doesnt rerun or runs very rarely

Tbh listing which teams are meta is a bit complicated since there are a lot of teams, theoretically even if they only have 1 boss you could consider them meta.

For divine keys you'll get a few through realms of battle, and then you can craft pledge of Sakura in foundry and get path of Judah from exchange shop. Other than that there are also quite a few of dkeys in reserve work ( the BP shop for old stuff).

Getting into nirvana itself isn't really that hard the main thing is retaining there which as I've already said is really a marathon rather than a sprint, in regards to the reward difference it's +20 per cycle for just being in nirvana and an additional 50/120 for being in t100/t50, we get 2 cycles per week so with an estimate of 9 weeks per patch is ~2520 crystals which isn't even a ten pull

As I said it's really not worth it for the crystals alone it's rather about enjoying the game and the competitive side

If you just want to do it for the crystals you're better off spending the money to get into t50 on random stuff you like
