SSS DS boosts damage against typeless enemies. Benares is typeless so SSS rank on DS will help for that.

Showing lack of type counter isn't truly an indication. If I'm using a psy valk on a psy enemy, I wouldn't have any type counter either, but the enemy still has a type. So SSS rank on DS doesn't benefit me there.

affixes are just slight atk bonuses though. Don't use it right away unless you have a specific situation where that tiny amount can make an important difference. Max atk can be costly and difficult to achieve with more normal methods

if you don't expect yourself to play to high competitive levels of the game where it matters more, then you might appreciate using the affix reroll on a valk you really like instead.

priority of upgrading is usually based on the base atk stat, T gives most, M gives 0

in the case that u're struggling from lacking of dmg the affixes can be 1 type of solution but dont go too far on the basic/beginner shop stigs

u dont wanna waste rerolling material on them

u can reroll on the exclusive stig of p2 chars thats ok u will do that sooner or later

generally u will want to roll for "x weapon user gain n atk", "x type valks gain n atk", and "n atk"

for example HLE wants "Archer gain n atk", "SD type valk gain n atk", and "n atk". the first two have higher max at 23, while the last max at 19

Pri Arming makes a new weapon with an additional passive which can be levelled further and is best understood as an upgrade to that weapon.
Getting it isn't really going to meaningfully help you clear abyss and other content doesn't require it so I would save the relatively rare pri arm mats for P2 valks if you are new.

HoV or HoHe should both be fine to clear content which requires P1 teams see #👶beginner-help message for some early teams.

The first 6 levels I needed Advanced Skill Materials + Spirit Jade. I also leveled the weaopn itself to 35 so that I could get it to 6/10 in the dorm. It might be a good stopping point for now and just making it a long term project, since leveling the weapon past 35 is also resource expensive.

Which is why wide coverage is really important. You have enough valks so that you win more then you lose when you get a bad boss.

• most if not all characters are now farmable in one way or another || misteln is in dorm supply and will be farmable in a shop called reserve works next patch, the currency for it is iffy with f2p income but it shows that you don't have any rare characters ||
• you do have some hard to find stigmatas and high rarity weapons but they aren't enough for current endgame requirements, plus a lot of them are also farmable, i don't blame you tho you haven't played in 2 years
• neither Spa or HoF can help you with end game, they've long since been powercrept
• i assume you did a lot of part 1 content which is a lot of work but that means you'll take a hell lot of time to catch up

my suggestion:

• make a new alt that will catch up with hard content easier and leave this account for collection or fun stuff
• take the hard route which will take a long time but you can still pull new releases and focus on leveling part 2 units as they're important for endgame these days

well first you'd have to choose the dps, either paws or hle both work
the main idea is to buff your dps with your supports first and then deal damage with your dps.
if we assume it's paws dps you'd probably want to start with fdd her support rotation would look something like this

• start doing your basic attack sequence before the boss spawns so that her BA4 hit's the boss right when it spawns
• WA
• Ult
  then you would want to swap HLE
• qte ( this already activates her buffs, that's mentioned in her stigmata 3pc effect )
• wa
• ult
  you do the wa ult to trigger stellar drain and for some extra damage
  after that go to paws and do her dps sequence as described in the tutorial, there are also basic attack cancels i can link you a video to that if you want
  both buffs last 25s so try to keep track of them, fdd's buff has a symbol above your HP bar. HLE buffs sadly do not have that but you would want to refresh them anyway once fdd's buffs run out.
  to refresh your buffs fdd qte -> wa -> ult is enough for fdd and HLE just refreshes her buffs with her qte. each time one of your teammates ults they also apply paralyze trauma and reset paws switch cd so sometimes you maybe still want to do wa -> ult with hle
  for SO it's
• paws ult x3
• paws ca
• swap to either fdd or HLE doesnt matter you can switch them up
  now the idea with supports in SO when you have a GoI leader is that they regenerate SP for your DPS.
  each support has 2 moves with which they can regen SP

1. their ult, this also provides shining trace which then translates into more buffs once you've obtained enough so you always want to ult
2. a move specific to the valk

i would probably do 2 SP regen moves on hle and just ult on fdd since hle has a lot of tfd in said moves and deals a decent amount of damage though fdd is probably faster.
that would look something like this

• hle qte
• ult
• wa x2
• hold ult until she shots her arrow
• fdd qte
• ult
• paws qte
• ult x3
• ca
• ult
  maybe you're missing like 30 SP on paws to do her 6th ult, for that you can either fit in 1 qte between the supports or do 1 wa once you swap her in after your supports.

note that this is really just a general rot, rot always change depending on the boss or your situation

also this is really elaborate don't expect this to be the norm around here (also from me ) so try to get yourself familiar with how valks apply their buffs and such

we can always help you with understanding how a battlesuit works though it's really helpfull to kinda know where you could find certain things in a kit

also if hle is supposed to be the dps the whole rotation would change since paws is now the dps, though it wouldnt be too different from the rotation in HLE's tutorial just replace who's run alongside fdd there with paws and get familair with how paws actives her buffs, consumes stellar drain and regenerates SP in SO for your DPS

i can lead you to the correct places in her kit for that if you're interested though i won't help further than that until you tried to read and understand those parts. if you still did not get it after that i will help still help you

Valkyrie Blastmetal is the best free support for part 2, a decent generic support, and an okay cope DPS

HotR is (with gear) a BiS part 1 fire support, okay part 1 lightning support, and cope P2 support for either / cope DPS. Without gear she’s significantly worse but still better than many other options if they also don’t have gear

Also BiS for dkey hofi on that P2 team but you don’t have that and it isn’t worth pulling for

There’s no best team in general. You can do FDD Dps with paws and vita

Vita dps with FDD VBM, paws or HLE dps with the other one and FDD

Even Thelema DPS with Vita and HLE

keep in mind different valkyries have different battlesuits, you'd wanna refer to them by their battlesuit name instead of the valkyrie name (i.e. Lunar Vow (lv) or Schicksal Imperative (ScI) instead of theresa) just to avoid confusion

there isnt really a build guide, its mostly have their signature or cooked (beginner can run wtvr until they have a more established account, but they also are informed to pull for s ranks when able to garuntee their equipment as well)

keep in mind that weathers dictate who is stronger (for example last abyss fdd was a must have, but in the upcomming abysses she will have a more supportive role)
its always preferred to pull for the newest unit rather than backpull so priority goes to hle

now, considering you have a lot of pity to cover before you can garuntee a unit with her weapon (both are a must together, you lose too much damage and utility without the weapon) its better to just save in favor of next patch
