on her own hohe doesn't have astral ring. you need that weapon for her to get it

she is a wheel ring type (for shadow star weathers in abyss) psy ice ranged dps

it's already past her release so her use cases aren't as great anymore for that role. HLE also is taking away some of it (both are ranged ice, so HoHE lost ranged kalpas scenario in abyss to HLE for example)

also she's an older valk so veteran players have her incredibly high ranked already (i'm about to reach ss3 with her myself and i only spent crystals on her first release)

the tldr is hohe as a dps is falling off and has high requirements to contest against in

but let's talk about hohe as a support next too

so hohe has three tags so she can support three other kinds of teams

unfortunately she's quite lackluster in most of them

she does have a best use case where if you're fighting tank, she's the only p2 valk that can aim at a weakpoint to get tank's vulnerability

so here's one example with lantern dps (fire weather)

but they can just keep the boss and change the weather (there was also a weather for LoA ring type so we used FWS dps with hohe support)

and overall this is just one very specific case out of many many others

she has a best support case but it overall is very once in a blue moon is the tldr there

otherwise as a symbiosis support she's actually decent i think but still not best (and for most intents and purposes, decent is fine really)

aside from all that hohe's weapon is still a dkey
so that's a +10 atk to all valks on your account. valuable long term and for top tiering players

but for RL retain purposes or lower (general f2p meta goal), it isn't necessary. In the far future maybe hohe weapon will become more available too

it's only 60 pulls but arguably i would say that 60 pulls can go towards a new valk weapon instead (or even a gacha op but that isn't recommended either)

hello again. I didn't forget you. Overall if you're still interested in doing well in hi3's meta and lategame and building stuff well, the main recommendation is to save crystals to roll on new releases when you can guarantee them (preferably early in the patch)

hi3's late game meta wants you to have many different teams and valks. S0 valk and Synergy 1 weapon is good enough (one copy of each basically)

while some specific valks can be more notable than others, things are more balanced than before so as long as you regularly play the game to gradually build up a wide cast you'll be fine. Check out pins in this channel and feel free to continue asking questions

there's no true known meaning behind it but sp valks are just those with extra set of "sp" skills

as a whole this doesn't really mean anything at this point. Alot of those valks can be considered for early budget purposes but otherwise are obsolete at a top meta level

there is a valk called swallowtail phantasm which has that abbrev too but that's not related and she's also obsolete.

(no sp does not mean support. Valk quicksand does not follow this notion)

there are four open world maps. Every week you pick one of them to access for that week. Within each week you can accept 5 tasks on mon, thurs, sat each

for a total of 15 tasks in the week

if you already finished all 5 tasks for the current task cycle then you need to wait until tomorrow for the next patch

the trial is asking you to reach level 8 in a map

each tasks you complete gives you basically exp for that map

so you need to do enough to reach that level

some maps may also have their own stories where you can get further progress and story from. Once you exhaust that, then it's really just waiting for tasks

Once you saved up enough spend everything above those 16.8 crystals on HLE's( the new elysia) banner so if you do get lucky you can instantly get her weapon

if you don't get her the pity will transfer to the next patch as already mentioned check #🔮cn-gameplay-discussion pins for the valk released in that patch

Building pity is a really bad idea. It’s better to save those juicy crystals for what you are actually planning to get.

There are many reasons to not build pity. It's not worth it in 99% of situations.
Please read them and reconsider whether you actually need to build pity:

• Some banners do not carry pity into others, Please confirm it carries over before even considering building pity.
• There are events with added rewards for rolling during their durations. Any pity built beforehand will not count towards them!
• Building pity will risk getting "lucky" with the Valkyrie/weapon early. This resets your pity. A dupe or an incomplete Valkyrie will not be greatly beneficial!
• If opting to build pity on a weapon supply, it's likely to miss out on later newer stigmas and end up overspending rolls or crafting materials to get them.

-# Depending on the situation, you can build pity during a spending event to reach a certain milestone. Please ask a St. Freya Professor before making any decisions as crystals could go toward units that are more worthwhile.

If you don't care at all about combat performance or competitive content, you don't need any strong valkyries to complete story because the game forces you to use trial valkyries most of the time anyway (starts around chapter 7 which is VERY early) - check !faq ro in server history for the recommended reading order bc this game is not as simple as playing the chapters in order.

If you do care about combat performance (i.e., you just wanna pull waifus and see them do big dmg) that's where it gets a bit more annoying because signature weapons are MANDATORY not just in terms of good dmg but often key combat mechanics for the valk are embedded in her weapon too - no "f2p alternative" even comes close. Also part 2 team building forces you to have a fairly wide range of valks with astral ring support capabilities so you'll have to watch out for that also if you want good dmg.

yes and no, there are competitive groups (you may have heard of masters and exalted before, exalted is lvl 81+) essentially meaning you will compete with players in a similar level range and then abyss also adjusts based on your individual performance vs other player scores known as abyss ranks (agony, redlotus) so if you do badly you will rank down and it will be easier and if you do well you will rank up and it will be harder. Less and more rewards for that difficulty respectively.

so a lvl 83 player who hardly plays and ends up in exalted sinful (rlly low rank, below agony) will have it easier than a masters player in redlotus.

Early on there may be some issues with low damage from missing d-keys and low dorm level which matters a decent amount but A3 to RL bouncing doesn't require a lot there either.

Redlotus (RL) and Abyss 3 (A3) are abyss tiers which give different rewards to see how much this matters for your crystal income check the pinned crystal calculator.
RL is the second highest tier while A3 is the third highest.
Abyss post breakthrough works by putting you in bracket with 20 total players of the same tier. For RL top 3 gains 100 points top 10 doesn't lose points and bottom 10 lose 100 points if you across multiple abyss cycles don't have enough points to stay in RL you drop down to A3. Hitting top 3 can be very hard when you are 150-200 attack below your competition even if you have the correct setup so you end up never gaining points and therefore bouncing down to A3 when you lose because of bad matchup etc and then bouncing up again in A3 because you have the correct valk.

that box should mainly be used to finish getting a last piece you didn't get from the gacha after getting the weapon

the only thing i mentioned that needs clearing is elysian realm but you can set a difficulty low for that

well beware thelema has alot of utility and damage locked behind her weapon. Don't expect to use her much for meta content like that

maybe you can still appreciate her as a support if you need to freeze an enemy or shield break if she fits the team you're using

i covered a lot of it otherwise here

also beware abyss isn't really content to just clear. If you breakthrough at captain level 80 to ascend to 81+, abyss will change and need you to compete against other players' high scores

astral ring strictly speaking doesn't refer to any kind of action

it's just a mode that's passively turned on if you have a newer valk with astral ring stuff as the leader

upon this mode being turned on, you activate a variety of other things including

• astral ring only effects from your stigmatas, valkyrie skills, etc
• access to stellar outburst (big blue button bursty mode)
• activating effects from your leader's ring type to determine your team's playstyle
• etc

but alot of people informally just say activate astral ring when referring to stellar outburst

so the ER guide might be referring to picking elysia signets that benefit you if you use outburst or don't use it (leave it full)

It's better to refer to the name of the battlesuit instead of the character name.

Astral ring is not something you equip. It's just something that your battlesuit might have or not. Newer suits will have it.

for exmple, if i have 10 ele dmg, and i get another 10 i will get 20

but if i get 10 tmd i wont get 20 ele

i will get 10 ele dmg that multiplies with the 10 tdm

Damage Types

There are 11 multiplier categories, though most valkyries don't use all of them at the same time, and some of these don't actually exist yet. The categories in bold are true multipliers - they never dilute, only multiply, even with themselves.

1: Physical Damage Dealt
2: Physical Damage Taken
3: Elemental Damage Dealt
4: Elemental Damage Taken
5: Total Damage Dealt
6: Total Damage Taken
7: Typing Bonus
8: Dirac Weather Typing Bonus
9: Host Specific Physical Taken Debuff
10: Host Specific Elemental Taken Debuff
11: Host Specific Total Taken Debuff

Any bonuses within a single category add together. Anything from seperate categories multiplies together to give the final result.

As an small example, assuming no other bonuses, having 20% physical and 20% physical just gives 40% physical as your final result. Having 20% physical and 20% TDM gives you 1.2 * 1.2 = 1.44 = 44% damage increase as final result.

For true multipliers, they multiply by their stated amount regardless. As an example, Thales M gives 2% host fire taken per stack, up to 10 stacks. Standalone, this is 1.02^10 ~ 1.22, not 1.02*10 = 1.2.
