Ok sorry I'm back. Before we consider the NA side, I want to ask a few more things about your current account.

First of all if you're not willing to make a new hoyo account then rerolling isn't really a feasible option for you. Switching to NA only gives you one other chance.

How much content has the EU account already cleared? (What chapter are you up to in the main story?) If you haven't cleared too much and still have alot to get, then you can prob just stick with this account.

What banners has it rolled on already? If you only have been rolling in the new elysia banner then restarting isn't really going to change much.

The main purpose in restarting at this point is if you have made mistakes with spending your crystals in the wrong places and want to reset and reallocate them

im currently just prioritizing on getting her, and if later on if I do plan on reaching endgame I will manage so idm if i don't get weapon or good stigmatas. Only 16 days till she leaves so I don't have much time I am trying to make the most of this time

The reality of HI3's endgame is probably different from what you're thinking. We can talk more about it in detail later but the main idea is the meta is constantly changing and being added to. F2p income is limited too. To be meta efficient, catching up on reruns isn't really a good idea.

Stigmata are not gacha exclusive anymore. Just get the valk and weapon and you're free from the gacha banners.

very different. In fact I encourage you to stay away from making conclusions based on GI and HSR

there are similarities but this game is much much older and you can make costly mistakes from trying to assume things across them

You still have alot of time but if you're rushing then you can neglect crystals from events (they take alot of time for not too much), and focus more on story even if those are lower priority for being permanently available. Prioritize elysian realm too when you unlock it.

you always have a low chance at any roll

but if you do 47 and still haven't gotten her by then, then you're guaranteed by the 47th roll to get her

each roll is 280 crystals

So make sure you run the math and make sure what the full cost is

Data suggests that it does exist (starting at 76 pulls), but it is not confirmed anywhere by HoYoverse so we can't be 100% sure.

it's just 280 crystals per roll multplied by 47 more rolls left to do at worst for the valk

13,160 crystals at worst for the valk alone. You can always gete lucky but you really shouldn't plan around luck in this game. There's no 50/50 either

keep in mind the weapon is important for competitive purposes too so that's another 60 rolls at worst (roughly 17k crystals)

the main thing i want you to consider is that meta and endgame of hi3 is important because abyss is a big source of your crystals (up to half of your regularly weekly income. 1k a week)

so that's why we default to meta advice here, but it's not a requirement (and it's paradoxical if you're picking up units you don't enjoy)

as far as casually goes, you don't need to own any single valk to clear story and events. You eventually use trials given to you rather than your own

and more casually, weapons become more optional then, esp if you just want the character for collection/bridge menu

if you do miss HLE or her weapon and still want them, reruns for a new release are expected a patch or a few patches later

so the way abyss works is it cycles twice a week. Every time it cycles it changes to a different scenario. If you perform well the previous week you rise to a higher and more difficult tier.

Eventually at a high captain level you compete against other players too. So you can't just do "good enough" in a flat sense (e.g. clearing genshin abyss with 3 minutes). Your ability to promote depends on how you compare to those around you (hence the meta)

ahh yes I do know ap shadow and MoC, pure fiction. And to clear the highest level easily and with full stars meta characters do it much easily and efficient given the buffs. I have always completed those easily as I do have meta characters, hi3 seems much more different for me to get my head around. if elysian realmn and abyss is like stimulated/divergent universe does it mean those are weekly? we get a set amount of jades every week from it HSR, is it the almost same in hi3?

i don't really agree with these analogies tbh. MA eventually wants you to use three teams similar to stygian nymph or anomaly arbitration, but the difficulty and rewards of these two don't really compare well either

and apoc and moc has their own added effects that MA doesn't really have

this conversation can easily become its own rabbit hole that as i said before it's best to stay away from it entirely

i will say though that abyss scenarios do cycle to encourage many different teams similar to how in hsr they encouraged dot, fua, self hp loss, etc

• For example, Herrscher of Reason is a battlesuit of Bronya's, and so are Wolf's Dawn, Yamabuki Armor, and Silverwing: N-EX!

Many battlesuits that share the same Character (e.g. Fenghuang of Vicissitude and Herrscher of Sentience; Fu Hua) have very different roles and thus different applications in your teams as they have COMPLETELY different skills and gameplay.

Those tags tells you how she can operate as a support. In other words, it tells you what other teams you can use her in when she's not the leader dps.

The tags don't determine the astral ring of other characters. Every character has their own ring type, and their own tags. Tags and astral ring are separate things

when you set a valk as a leader, they become the dps and you mainly look at their ring type. Ignore their tags

when you set a valk as non-leader, they are a support and you look at their tags. Ignore the ring type.

You want the leader's ring type to match the tags of the supports.

so horb does have it but she isn't really a best teammate for HLE. She can still be decent enough though because as long as the tag matches, the difference usually isn't too far off. (beware at a high level these tiny differences can still matter)

As for next patch's valk ||unfortunately she does not have it||. So if you're rushing to make the game more playable i guess you can consider horb.

otherwise if you want an actual best, you can consider FDD coralie's rerun but i personally don't recommend this since again the difference isn't too far off. (there's also a chance that FDD becomes a non best but they have been pretty good with keeping breach valks as general best)

anyway the main idea of horb as a dps is for now she's only really best used for dominance weathers. A main concern is that you won't get ranks to compete against veterans once your account develops more so she's kinda more bound to fall off compared to a new world star release if it happens in the future.

The other concern i have is that long term, stellar key releases haven't really stayed meta as long or as much(?) as new releases. Loosely speaking i expect a new valk to stay relevant for 2 years (not sure about astral ring valks since they're too new). Historically we already kinda have an idea from hofi and hohe. ||HoFi might be losing her relevance to the next patch's release||. HoHE also is losing ranged kalpas to HLE.

Which if you think about it for those who already have the valk, it makes sense

they're not paying as much for a new functional unit

tldr, don't expect horb to age well and expect her to fall off sooner as opposed to newer releases. Obviously i can't guarantee anything

Free Stigmata Boxes

Hey, Captain!

In Honkai Impact 3rd Part 2, most new Valkyries will have a Stigma Option box given for free! But when should you use them?

If you are pulling for the corresponding weapon, you should open the box AFTER you have 2 different pieces of that stigmata set already. These stigma boxes are optimally used to finish a stigmata set. This also applies to Part 1 stigmata boxes, if you have any.

If you...

• Obtained the weapon before you got at least 2 stigmata set pieces, stop pulling! Open the box to get the best piece and then craft any missing stigmata (you can find these in Foundry).
• Already got the full stigmata set before the weapon (there are high chances that you did), keep the box as a collectible or open it, select a random stigma and salvage it for Source Prism.
• Are skipping or have skipped the corresponding weapon but want to get the Stigmata set, open the box first for the best piece then craft the other two via Foundry.
• Skipped the weapon and do not intend to craft the Stigmata set, you have no urgent reason to open the box, so keep it.

Regarding Bronya: N-EX, you can open the box once you own T or B and use it to finish TB. M is not BiS on SW.

If you are a f2p meta player, you should not pull gacha AstralOps - only players who are retaining or trying to retain Nirvana should consider it if they have the funds (unlikely for f2p players).

Reasons:

• Dreamseeker is good enough despite being free.
• Too expensive, especially if they need SS (~20-30k).
  • AstralOps have the same cost as a gacha weapon, therefore pulling one may result in being unable to afford a Valkyrie's weapon down the line (for meta players, this means skipping said Valkyrie entirely).
• The damage and score increase they provide in Redlotus and below is often minimal and not needed to retain.
