Should I Pull AstralOps?

NOO CAPTAIN!

If you are a f2p meta player, you should not pull gacha AstralOps - only players who are retaining or trying to retain Nirvana should consider it if they have the funds (unlikely for f2p players).

Reasons:

• Dreamseeker is good enough despite being free.
• Too expensive, especially if they need SS (~20-30k).
  • AstralOps have the same cost as a gacha weapon, therefore pulling one may result in being unable to afford a Valkyrie's weapon down the line (for meta players, this means skipping said Valkyrie entirely).
• The damage and score increase they provide in Redlotus and below is often minimal and not needed to retain.

and tbh i can say the same for thelema and senadina too. If you're just playing hohe casually in all sorts of scenarios, then focusing on sena and thele in particular is kind of pointless

the reason why i would loosely say they are best is because you're using them against specific situations that makes them best. Specific situations that makes thelema want to freeze the enemy, or specific enemies that gives thelema attacks to evade off of.

HLE/paws/fdd is probably your best team, also fyi i feel like you're spreading your resources a bit too much and level chars that practically don't have any use for you. Try to focus on chars that you'll actually use for now, most notable HLE, fdd, paws, ps. You can also opt to level JDS at a point where you need a physical dps but for the most part you can brute force those weathers. the same goes for weapons btw i see a pri armed Key of void and key of ego when you would really want to focus on HLE's weapon for now

Hi, I have a question, please treat it seriously, this is a genuine doubt. HI3rd has, in my opinion, the biggest powercreep situation in all of hoyo games. When coming back after months, if you question "is it worth starting over from 0 or continuing from my old account?", 99% of times people will tell you to start over, since you can get more rewards and get newer characters, but when is the limit of that? If this happens, when should we give up our old accounts to just start over getting new rewards and newer characters? 3 to 3 months? 6? something like that? but that is such a short time. I am not a consistent player and I will not play it consistently for longer than 4 months most likely, and every time I come back and just have to start a newer account which is frustrating, but I want to clear endgames. I know there are older players that clear all content and has a 89 year old account so why do they just continue with theirs instead of starting over again with newer rewards and newer characters as we are always told to do? I would love to hear other perspectives on the matter, and my dms are open aswell. Thank you all in advance.

• What is the state of your most recent and/or developed account? By developed I mean the highest amount of gacha only astral ring valkyries, preferably with their signature weapons. Alternatively, do you have any accounts with vintage things you prefer to stick with and not lose? Maybe you don't need to start over.
• From your past experience, did you identify anything especially in the game that deterred you from maintaining it regularly? Not asking about any irl details just to be clear. Maybe we can help find ways for the game to fit your capacity/lifestyle better.
• What is your idea of "clearing endgame"? Do you understand the structure of abyss (superstring dimension)? It sounds like you hear alot of recommendations, but i want to ascertain your understanding behind those recs.

One major thing I feel hasn't been addressed in your initial outlook is I think comparing the three hoyo games and their powercreep to each other is heavily flawed. HI3 is a much older game and its pvp highscore emphasis structure isn't present in other games. Its gacha systems and economy are quite a ways different as well. I'm not looking to discuss this deeply (it's a rabbit hole esp with the astral ring change recently) but I do think we should move away from the comparison if possible.

Traffic right now is a bit low so maybe we can discuss here more indepth. If it picks up, we can move to the other channel or to a DM.

if your valk doesn't have weapon, then odds are you wouldn't use her as a leader dps. Signature weapons tend to be 20 to even 60% of the valk's personal damage compared to the next best alternative.

Furthermore, HLE is a grail ring type. But none of the other valks you have here can support her properly

Grail ring type matches with symbiosis tag.

But sena and vita don't have that, so when HLE goes into outburst, they won't be able to provide much SP to HLE. (Vita still partially benefits though)

It's weather dependent who you'd wanna use as the dps but outside ignite weathers fdd as a dps isnt as potent

It's much preferable to use hle as the dps for brute forcing assuming you have nothing else (weathers this patch will prioritise her anyways)
