What I am referring to is that a reasonable decision is doing part 1 first and then part 2 which means that your VBm is weapon less until you are through the entirety of part1 + part 1.5 which took me more then a month personally and without having some part which prods the player to enter part 2 early people aren't going to pick it up to very late.

Prism stigmas can only be used on the character they are for and you don't need more then one set for any character outside of some very niche edge cases so excess ones can safely by salvaged for source prisms if you need more for upgrading your main ones @proper sleet

you might want to keep in mind we stress thelema for hohe for meta matchups

but if you're not completely following meta then you'll want to think about how you draw your lines and boundaries so you don't spend more (resources or even money) than you need to

you don't strictly need thelema to make hohe play, and don't need her if you're using hohe against any other general matchups at non higher tiers of the game

we can dig up various past examples of how hohe is used if you want to get a better idea of how thelema plays in the team

and the idea is to counterpick against all of these scenarios

so the best for each scenario can change

but as far as hohe, goes thelema shows up enough in her meta matchups that we generally note her when considering hohe

but if you're not going for the best then that idea goes out the window and you may not need to stress thelema if she's too far out of your way

at bare minimal terms, i would say just look for any harmonized shadow star support, and you technically have an hohe dps team

but right now it feels like you're just blindly chasing after her without really understanding why

and thelema at the end of the day isn't elysia

As she is not going to get weathers going forward and those she could cope through HLE would be a better pick for anyways so Abyss is pretty questionable in my mind. If you want to use her in ER you don't want MPS, MA could work but again HLE is probably going to be the better option.

Here's another video from the same person i sent you before. This person tends to do alot of not so top meta stuff at a top meta level.

so hohe isn't typically used against this boss/weather/match up

the boss resists elemental damage heavily, and the weather effect wants a summoned entity from the dps which hohe does not have iirc

an advantage hohe has in this scenario is type counter against the boss

there's no freeze gimmicks going on for the enemies here (although i feel maybe thelema can find an rng attack to evade farm off of? idk)

at any rate thelema isn't opt to be used here. You can see hohe can still be played without her

(it looks like they scored high but regular scores are more like 850-900 from horb dps. Also their team has very high ranks on their valks as well as weapon dupes)

(i don't think it's based on creation date, but when you logined to the account, but going by creation date makes it simpler)

anyway keep in mind every fight is its own case. So this trend may not always be the case. Maybe hohe doesn't lose as much in some fights or lose way more in others. It highly depends. Damage isn't everything either, and a valk's animations can be more important (the goal is speed overall)

i read the carnival guide and the hohe vs bronya box pick, there's a bunch i dont get but
id like to use hohe and i saw thelema is in the spending rewards
im fine with spending on bps and packs but there was some other stuff too i dont quite get

feel free to ask on the details. I did try to write out some basic and simpler ideas earlier than later for beginners (one sentence summary for each valk, and a new player section)

i feel from the way you're talking about the spending event there may be a misunderstanding. Just to be clear, spending event tracks the crystals and cards spent (ofc if you dont' have any, then you can spend real money to get more so that's more indirect). But overall it doesn't directly track actual money spent. We do have separate event for the latter called top up events.

To answer your question, thelema's weapon isn't a stellar key.

The Stellar Key refers to hohe's second and newest signature weapon (flawless benediction). Not currently available.

Stellar Keys are basically weapons that grants older valkyries newer functions to fit into modern astral ring teams.

They are also divine keys which are special weapons that are tuned and integrated into the divine key menu (this makes them no longer trashable). Tuning allows the weapon to provide passive global buffs too.

if you're already getting thelema along the way then it's fine though but don't expect many best meta uses out of her at this point. If you're new though then she can still serve decently

it's just for some luckier players, they may get everything that's worthwhile to pull this patch early

and the cost to get that thelema card may be too far away to justify

first you can look at this. Whiile FDD is commonly used/best, her difference may not be that far off from other lesser alternatives

and a practical example of that is here

in hi3, you need to consider not what's necessarily best, but what's good enough while being most long term cost efficient

and every valk nowadays can be a dps or a support depending on how they are placed in the team

so the issue in my eyes, is that you really don't need FDD's peak support potential. Other things can be good enough for most intents and purposes. However since she's a rerun, we already missed a good chunk of FDD's top dps use cases

and from this point FDD's dps use cases are going to become less and less common

arguably you might get more dps use cases and good enough support from a newer release valk instead

make sure to use the card on a nonupgraded stig

so you get the full 7 prism value

if you can spare the resources you can consider crafting for FWS. Prisms can be a bottle neck early on and you may have other higher priorities in the near future (next new future valk?)

and if you do craft, it's all 3 or none at all. 3pc is too big. Once you do, don't upgrade them unless you need to. See how much you can do without upgrading (cost prisms)

especially if your FWS is weaponless

if she has her weapon, and you have no higher priorities then sure consider maxing her stuff out when a use case comes up

alot of advice in this game is conservative btw. You can always invest later if you hold now. But once you invest, you can't take it back

it's common for hI3 events to have daily time gates and need multiple days to finish, even if you start late

at this point i would go as far as to say, try to make sure you do it 10 days ahead of time before it ends

so the ring type on the leader determines the playstyle of the team, and who the dps is (all leaders are mainly dps now)

now you can see the matching tag there. For all other valks you add to the team as non leaders, you want them to have that matching tag

So grail leader, symbiosis support 1, symbiosis support 2

the matching tag is important because they provide core functions to the team's playstyle

in this case, symbiosis allows the team to regenerate alot of sp so the grail leader can ult more

• top support priority is matching tag to the leader
• If you don't have enough, look for RoO

Hm that's a good question. Basically changing the leader changes what kind of dps you're using. In HI3 late game, there will be many different scenarios to encourage all kinds of dps for all kinds of reasons

anyway on the topic of getting valks, the rule of getting signature weapons have not really changed. They are still big personal damage (20-60% depending on the valk), and can have important utility

if not, i actually will make an exception and tell you to ignore her weapon going forward. She can still be ok enough for support, and you want to spend your crystals on actual newer stuff

and at this point we already have gone past many of FWS' dps use cases and they're now less common (and sometimes overlap with HLE main dps)

in any case i already have the units i liked, besides sparkle i dont see myself back pulling, and sparkle is old enough that i expect to be able to get her other ways in the future

oh i do think the next big topic is how to actually play the team. But that's a different rabbit hole for maybe another time

i'll give some quick pointers though

team format is still 1 dps and 2 supports, so naturally set up support effects first, then have the dps benefit from it until it's gone

despite being farmable, VBm coralie is not a friendly to use. She has alot of different effects from different actions and sources. I kinda cover it here #👶beginner-help message

otherwise for most valks, you can look at their 3pc stigmata effects (this applies to FWS)

The "Let's have fun" effect. Alot of stuff comes from that. So trigger it and that's mostly it.
