Astral Ring Specialization - Grail of Infinitude

Allow me to explain, Captain!

The "Grail of Infinitude" Astral Ring Specialization revolves around the team sharing SP in Stellar Outburst. Valkyries with this Specialization have the ability to consume huge amounts of SP to deal damage.

Valkyiries with the "Symbiosis" tag can support them by greatly boosting max SP, generating large amounts of SP for the shared SP pool, and their ult cost will be 0 in Stellar Outburst which leaves more SP in the pool for the leader to consume.

During Stellar Outburst, consuming SP will generate "Shining Trace" reaching a certain amount of Shining Trace will give you a stack of "Facet of Infinitude" which gives teamwide buffs. You can observe your amount of Shining Trace by looking for a white glow around your SP bar. Valkyries with the Symbiosis tag additionally provide "Shining trace" with their first ult during SO.

VBMs buff cycle is: weapon active, weapon active, jump attack weapon active the first time. Then you’ll get a circle above your health bar with a 3 on it, it’ll be orange

You can then switch out to your other Valkyries

When those buffs are almost done (because the circle is almost out of orange)

You swap back to VBM and do a jump attack weapon active

If you are trying to get dkeys, stick to the ones you can obtain for free through the bp reserve shop

It's recommended to either save the box until you can make a decision that wont result in dupes or if you wanna get a dkey now pick a good option (such as picking dkeys that arent available through other means or extremely unlikely to rerun)

You pick a dps, and then you look at their astral ring type, and then pick two supports who have a matching tag

For a LoA dps that’s heavenly shift, for a GoI dps that’s Symbiosis, for a world star that’s domain resonance, etc

Still not really worth it imo, to cover bleed weathers in RL and below you can just use PS as a support and let someone else be the DPS and take advantage of the weather effect since PS applies bleed. PS as a support also makes a pretty big difference on a lot of paws weathers since she deletes most HC shields really fast.

So if i will pull for her weapon now, then banners change for kiana and sparkle, then they will change again for sushang and pity will be saved?

Weaponless PS can still be used for support. You'll mainly miss out on her dps cases. However her dps cases aren't as numerous now. I rather you allocate those crystlas to something actually new and more valued

yeah it's just that rs and sushang won't help with that despite being Symbiosis so the possibility still remains. but iirc sushang had similar problems during beta and got impair in her stigs in the end. would be rather strange binding solid new valk to an old one with dk (vita at least had hofi at the same time, not earlier). so i rather think it will remain a possibility

about the breach. we know that dracoralie is the best buffer etc. now imagine that you use the same team but have no 55% impair for sushang. i mean the difference could be really big, even bigger than between hohe and fdd buffs especially if that new possible valk is supposed to be played with horb. and horb's impair could be there just for herself since she does some dmg as well

I don't recommend building pity but sure if you really have to. We are in spending event (check pins) and it can arguable if you're close to something notable.

But otherwise beware any pills you attempt for horb will mean less before you get weapon on something else

A geared sena and vita is pretty solid to have. They are both team breach valks and vita has a lot of old coverage. You won't have newer support coverage but a fresh account won't really fix that either.

Astral ring valks can form numerous teams from having a few valks at least

A bit more debatable for sure. Sena and Vita aren't relevant to newer ring types, but you have weaponless PS. As long as you pick up more future valks, that will resolve. So in my eyes, while this account won't have as many crystals to allocate towards newer stuff, it already has one foot in the door so to speak while having some older stuff to work with. The biggest slough with a newer account is not having anything to really use until they pull 2-3 gacha valks.

Ofc a newer account can get more recent/new stuff so in the long term maybe it can find more efficient value. However all the limited crystals the older account has gained will be lost and it seems a good amount of it spent is still relevant from the older valks, maybe not as long but still something you can appreciate well for now.

Thelema hasn't seen a direct replacement yet but main dps use cases hasn't really shown up for a long time either. As a support it's difficult to replace her since she role compresses alot of important stuff but the teams she supports are starting to show up less and less too since she cannot support new ring types. If you care about HoHE dps, thelema doesn't seem like she's leaving that team anytime soon but hohe dps cases are also dropping esp with HLE to contest her in ice.

SS Thelema mainly gives more rime trauma and a slight but notable boost to the team. The worth depends on how you're achieving it. If it's via spending event (check pins) then it's more valid. If you're already buying bp then that's ok. But I rather you not go out of your way for it overall (if you're not already buying bp, then spend the irl money on something more crystal efficient for newer valks).

The extra rime trauma at SS can make a difference in some fights but reducing one hold WA is arguably minor.

So that's why I'm saying these three can be related to your decisions. Maybe you can prioritize thelema from bp and get hotr from box instead while missing out on hohe. Or you can get hohe from box and then have to prioritize hotr from bp instead, while thelema can be from spending event.

but earlier you can see you're kinda behind on everything meta wise so even if you pick something, you may not compete as well. All of these are niche/rare use cases too so I don't have an actual strong general recommendation.

Red lotus or lower in abyss isn't too demanding though so if you're only aiming for that then you can focus more on making sure the team works, even if you're behind on typical ranks.

If you don't already have hotr do you have her gear? If not then even if you get her to enable Herrscher Trio, that team may see too much of a drop to consider.

If you immediately use something without actually needing what it provides, you may put yourself at a disadvantage later on by wasting a source of materials that you fall short of down the line.

This applies to almost every irreversible material choice such as:

• Stigma Option boxes
• Material Option boxes
• Blazing Assembly Option (ELF Option box)
  • ELF Part Option boxes
• Weapon Option boxes (Divine Key or Beginner Weapon Option box)
• Salvaging non-duplicate Weapons/Stigmata
• Buying items using rare currencies (i.e., Supply Shop)

Before selecting something from an option box, salvaging gear, or buying materials, think twice if you actually need what is offered and if you really need it right now!

if you do have hotr's gears then i do think picking hotr from box is viable to consider to enable the herrscher trio team

but be wary all of these teams are old (so rare use cases) and you are behind on ranks. No point in going wide if it winds up with you demoting on all of them anyway. I don't completely expect this for RL tier or below though.

But since you already have hohe with her new weapon, i think it's fine to pursue thele at least if you're going to be paying in some way anyway (although again if you don't need to pay then i don't consider it worth it overall). Just gotta figure out how to do it and what you'll have to give up in the process.

hm i can't find any further data but... last i heard for PAWS dps, hohe was pretty close to top. So i feel HoHE might be fine for HLE generally. If the team really ends up underperforming, then you may consider seeing how future new releases with symbiosis are like instead of FDD too.

FDD at this point is a backpull/rerun so pulling her arguably isn't as valued. But she is a breach support she is expected to stay as a top support option for what she is relevant to (not always important though). If you really care, then you may consider a backpull but for now wait and see in case we get more info of what's next patch by the time the rerun happens.

basically for the whole carnival there will be a total of 4 valks that will slowly rotate between each other until the whole carnival ends

• the same carnival round shares pity between each other but other carnivals don't (eg the carnival in 8.1 doesn't share its pity with 8.5 carnival)
• you get free 20 pulls that you can only use on the valks of this current carnival, so you wanna use the cards before it expires but you still have time rn
• these are reruns of valks, its not a good investment to use crystals for them or their gear aside from casual preferences, the free cards are worth the use
• these free cards count towards the spending event goal
• since the pity doesn't carry over if you really insist on getting a character because you simp for them, make sure you have enough crystals to afford them

but short answer is thele use cases aren't common anymore. if you do find a use case for her, then ss gives more team damage and rime trauma that might be minorly notable on some fights (also personal damage which is relevant for thele main dps but also as hohe support)

4* kiana is minor too so up to you which way you lean
