Exp is given by dailies and for all other actions depends directly on how much stamina you use. So as long as you have low stamina you are levelling as fast as possible

Astral ring intensity is the 'Energy' that accumulates when Astral Ring is activated. At max intensity, the button can be pressed to enter Stellar Outburst.

There are a multitude of ways to regen and speed up the gain of ARI.
To gain Astral ring intensity captains can:

• 1 per 0.5 seconds you are in combat (Basic AstralOp skill)
• Consume stellar drain
• 1 per ultimate evasion performed

Don't need astralops below nirv/myriad, and definitely not for ER. DS is quite respectable.
Coralie is just slow for ER, she doesn't take ages but compared to stuff like HoHe it's slow.
Also what build/signets/loadout buffs are you using, it possibly could be an issue with that

well idk how much ER have changed. im an old player. but from what i noticed. i used low hp, ultimate, im still stopping at first levels cuz i cant clear the 3rd one in time.
i used x2.75 at start. since i remember easily clearing x2.75 with full set of new characters. but then i changed back to x2.25 and only finishing 2/3 before timer runs in level 3.
note i dont have her weapon yet. shit gacha luck

The general goal is to get 2 attack lines on each affix, like in your t piece (albeit with 2 purple lines, not blue ones)

these atk lines can either be (in fdd's case):
Gain atk (has lower atk yield though, so preferably try to avoid this for better lines, such as the two mentioned under this)
Rocket Hammer users gain atk
Mech-type characters gain atk

you want 2 lines on each piece, so that means you should reroll your M and B piece since they only have 1 atk line each
since you dont have much affix materials to reroll, I am saying its not a big deal if you dont do this since its only redlotus

if you start over you get a lot of freebies and can kickstart your new account's progression

this is a nice time to start over as next patch is anni and you can reroll for coralie/start saving now to have a support for the 8.5 valk as long as she is GoI/LoA (likely) or RoO (not super likely but possible)
if you don't restart you're looking at severely low xtal income for a long time. especially if you're starting from 0 xtals.

if you havent looked at this pin yet (#👶beginner-help message) it kind of explains what the benefit is for starting over vs keeping your account, and generally if you want to be competitive to some degree in the weekly abyss its better to restart in your case, you can also see how many one time source crystals there are to get which would be available in a new account in this pin here #👶beginner-help message . But if your the kind of person that plays a week or two a month, if you like your nostalgia characters it will take a while to grind the farmable characters that you may already have (they arent good in the competitive scene but people still like having them) and if you dont do the weekly abyss often then any gains will be less due to not doing it all the time if that makes sense.

it kind of boils down to if you want to put time and effort on a new account or not and stick with your old account. One thing that you can always try is that since you'll have to use another server or make a new hoyoverse account to make a new hi3 account you can always make a new account and try it out and keep the old one around for nostalgia sake and you can choose which one you want to stick with

abyss is divided into various stratas depending on how well you can perform. Highest is nirvana which is pretty much whale land, although f2p can dip in and out of this too.

Red lotus is the semihighest tier and is very reasonable to achieve as meta focused f2p. The lost in crystal reward from nirvana is only 20 so it's not much (although being in the actual t100 leaderboards will give a bit more which practically is nirvana only)

Agony 3 is below that and some people are very comfortable there. The crystal income loss is a bit greater here.

Agony 2 i personally think of as a place of returnee accounts

Agony 1 is more of the point where the player can prob improve to get out of unless their account is very poorly built.

Sinful is usually the lowest where people can wind up

Forbidden technically exists but it's very rare to wind up here due to other inactive players in sinful.

Those are the tiers for exalted (captain level 81+) in abyss.

you can't really apply the idea of "maining" a valk in this game if you somewhat want to be competitive. Abyss has a lot of different bosses and weather which then results in valks being really good on one weather and completely useless on another one. It really depends on your personal goals and where you wan't to end up in terms of abyss ranks. Even if you're trying to be competetive it's fine to have a side project for example collecting all Mei battle suits and ranking them/ farming their gear.
