Well, chronologically you should do the entirety of Part 1 and 1.5 first, but the Starter Manual forces you to start Part 2 very early (you wanna do it anyway for Coralie's sig weapon)

The Manual requires like 1-2 hours of gameplay, and you get the weap a lot earlier than that

generally I would just scroll down to the part where it shows recommended traits and select valks based on that
for this one, first boss needs freeze = Thelema, second boss needs fast attacks = Lantern or Sushang, last boss doesn't matter but just needs a physical valk - anyone you've got left over
it's far from perfect but good enough as long as you have a decently wide roster and you just care about max reward tier, not ranking

look at the current exact price of cabbages now, and compare it to the next day you're going into. iirc it should be an increase meaning you'll profit from buying now and selling it next

but if you're unsure you can avoid it

there should be other things you can buy instead

if you're ready for change and higher rewards generally then it's prob fine to push for the breakthrough. Even if you're not doing well, you'll likely wind up in a tier of similar rewards and difficulty.

But overall there will be changes to the game so if you're not comfortable or ready for that yet then it's ok to hold off for a while. Definitely not for the long term though if you plan to breakthrough eventually

What kind of personal goals do you have for the game? Usually we prioritize the meta of abyss since you can get higher crystals there from outscoring other players.

From that perspective, HoT and SW are not recommended to invest heavily in because both are highly outdated at this point.
Edit: To elaborate, even at their full maxed out performance they will be vastly inferior to typical teams today. And reaching this point takes a lot of time and resources.

But meta isn't everything so we can adjust recommendations if needed.

In the long run it doesn't matter, but the ideal order is:
1 - Grips of Tai Xuan (gloves, cope glove weapon and ice gene limit).
2 - Cleaver/Judgement of Shamash (guns/greatsword, need both to sync for +10 attack and fire gene limit).
3 - Jizo Mitama (katana, phys gene limit attached to it).
4 - Star of Eden (cannon, has no attached gene limit it just exists).

they're not really something you would directly use on a valk (aside from Grips of Taixuan if you need an extra glove for someone)

Data suggests that it does exist (starting at 76 pulls), but it is not confirmed anywhere by HoYoverse so we can't be 100% sure.

sorry that i'm constantly bringing up faq after faq lol

but anyway that can give you an idea of how much you should try to save. Personally being conservative, i recommend aiming for 40k crystals

if you have to roll below that amount, then try to not go below 17k crystals (60 pulls). This way if you get lucky on valk early, you can still get the weapon.

Otherwise going below 17k may cause you to get the valk but without her weapon which is very lackluster for the meta. Signature weapons are a meta standard.

• hohe's dkey is available right now from a gacha banner. Should you spend crystals going after it just because a dkey even though you don't own her? Obviously not. That 10 atk for 17k crystals is obviously not worth it when you can get a different weapon for a valk you would actually use. (looking at it from another perspective, that 17k you spent here may cause you to not be able to afford a weapon you need to actually use on a valk in the future)

• pledge of sakura is available in the foundry with no crystal cost. Should you spend your materials on it? Possibly. Foundry materials don't really have much other important use now so it's usually ok.

  • The main thing i would watch out for are ether fuel (the green dollar sign) because you may need those to craft part 2 stigmatas you missed rolling. So i recommend keeping some amount (enough to craft 1 or 2 stigs) handy while the excess can go towards sakura pledge

If you don't manage to get her, no biggie, the pity carries over (you'll be saving until the next patch in that case)

i can imagine a major score loss in p2 because you can fws evade a bit to farm like thelema and reach a second outburst more quickly to end the fight sooner in RL possibly
