that's another reason why coralie and hofi+dkey, who are also a roo, are worse than vita in terms of support, because vita had every tag at the time while they only have world star (and wheel of destiny in hofi's case)

it really isnt, a valk usually has 2+ tags which are for their own ring, a future ring (in most cases as patches go forward) and sometimes for an older ring

so when a valk becomes redundant in terms of dps, they can continue being beneficial as a support in the future, but ofc to convince players to pull, they limit older units supportive capabilities

no fish skips in this reference but i don't think you know how to do those? however this one uses teri op so it gets an extra stellar shift on sushang. you will need to compensate by making sushang deal more damage in more normal ways.

• realms of battle (basically free)
• foundry for pledge of sakura mainly. also abyss and fenghuang pinion when you get their counterparts
• exchange shop for judah
• battle pass reserve work shop for abyss flower, fenghuang down, might of an utu, and twins of eden
• some specific events may sometimes give some for free but no news of this for the upcoming future right now
• others are gacha exclusive or non obtainable for now
  • i do not recommend getting ones from the gacha (spending crystals) for just global attack purposes alone. Make sure you can benefit from the dkey greatly in other ways especially if it's a new release
  • hohe's dkey will rerun soon but that's a very arguable investment. feel free to ask for more details if you're interested and we can cover the whole picture

it's not just rime trauma. Thelema also provides

• shield break (idr if any ely boss cares about this)
• she restores 3 ARI instead of 1 when evading an enemy move. Notable against rpc, kalpas, kasumi, maybe hellmaru too.
• general damage because ely's personal damage outside of outburst is lacking (the quick crystalline stacks > weapon active to pop them are still good but not slowly building them up)

also keep in mind elves are still usable in astral ring p2 teams. maybe you can settle for ely elf in the meantime which you can accumulate from spendnig events. we're also getting a elf selection box this patch

apparently ely elf needs to be 4* to be more notable than dreamseeker loosely speaking but beware her advantages are still a fight by fight case basis. Elves at the appropriate rank may have higher damage, but they have lower initial ARI.

If the method to a boss fight wants you to outburst as soon as possible, then dreamseeker may still be preferred for their higher initial ARI despite their lower damage.

astral ops are the new variants of ELFs to suit part 2 mechanics (mainly the astral ring)
each astral op is limited in terms of which rings they can support, like elves, they provide buffs but they also have a unique effect to help recharge their respective astral ring sooner

generally speaking they are unecessary to go out of your way and pull, and the default astral op (dreamseeker who you can get to ss atp) is more than enough
