for stigmatas give her robert peary set that you can get from beginner manual. If you don't have it yet then you can use scott 3pc

for weapon you can either

• max out default
• craft glided in the foundry for 150 AE imaginons. If you do opt for this do NOT upgrade it beyond 35/35. This is because trashing it without upgrading it will give it equal effective value

for supports you can slot in coralie, shigure kira, or jade knight (sushang. free from starter manual too)

as for playing pardo the game does have tutorials so i recommend checking them out to get an idea of what she can do. the ingame tutorials are ok for that. (however worded guides and recommendations within the game are NOT recommended)

the overall idea to playing dps pardo is

• set up support effects
• use pardo ult
• the ult will put you in a state where you can constantly yellow/purple meter hold attack (do both in any order) > breakdance (predation) attack. You can do it 3 cycles of this before the state ends.
• repeat

if you intend to use pardo as a dps then i recommend upgrading her to S rank as well (farmable from asterite shop)

that rank unlocks a passive that lets the team deal more damage against frozen enemies. Pardo as a dps will apply freeze very often

but overall keep in mind these suggestions are for temporary uses and nothing to invest heavily into. at this point the meta of the game revolves entirely around more recent gacha only units

on that front I assume I'll be ok with Sushang for the time being (once I get her)

it'll be better but it'll still a bit rough since her primary supports aren't farmable

meta wise you'll likely pull sushang > use her not so optimally but the best you can for now > roll future new releases that either can support sushang, or sushang herself can support

Once you get her weapon you can use her once you get her it's all good(it's really not like other gacha where relics and/or traces things need farming much)

we havent unlocked sushang's full supporting capability yet so we cannot form a full opinion on her longevity based in facts. she seems to be an okay LoA support but she's overshadowed by other supports-- but she does have a guaranteed niche in her high hitcount capabilities

units can last anywhere from a couple patches to many multiple patches. take for example AE-- while not meta anymore she ruled over the game from her release until 6.3 (iirc she was released in 3.x?)
a more recent example of a character having a very short shill period for both DPS and support is lantern. she has fallen off quite a bit but still has some bosses that she's preferred on. it really depends on the valk and the weathers they're given

unfortunately this is a gacha game where there are continual updates so things will be replaced or powercreeped

The reason why meta is emphasized is because abyss makes you compete against other players and is one of your biggest crystal income sources

but on the other hand the higher income of abyss won't pay back any meta units you get. You really should only get them if there's an overlap of personal interest.

And abyss is stratified into many tiers of difficulties. Nothing wrong with accepting a lower abyss income to make content weaker and easier suitable to the older valks you want to use too

yeah thats the only thing. this game is highly different from other gachas where youre free to pull as you please. you also need weaps for every character here. but overall the QoL post-p2 has skyrocketed in a myriad of ways. the backpulling thing is exaggerated heavily because we see it here very often that someone pulls something very outdated and it sets their account back 1-2 patches

on that note i highly recommend checking out attack > events tab > tactics class tutorials for both of sushang's suits then

you won't need to own anything of your own and you can experience proper teams for both sushangs that way

Yes that's a bit more complex like that though, if you pull sushang you need to be aware of her ring and tag

Your ring determines what valks can support you, and your tag determines which rings you can support

So ps who is an loa valk, relies on teammates with the heavenly shift tag (loa's tag) to support her while she can support other loa valks and the future ring since she has that tag

Newer units are capable of supporting newer units and so on

So as long as you aren't backpulling you won't run into a support crisis

There's also the roo ring which is essentially a wild card ring type, you can use valks with that ring to support all rings, though keep in mind they aren't the best supportive option always
