Each astral op is geared towards specific astral ring(s), but they do still offer some general buffs even if your team doesnt fit the archetype. Sonque aop is a good upgrade for elemental teams over dreamseeker even if they aren't world star teams (which is songque aop's niche). In general, having the suitable aop for your ring team does improve damage &/or qol, BUT they aren't recommended to gacha for unless youre a heavy spender because you can still do fine without them

The pins said the AstralOP is highest prio, but everythin' else literally says "don't worry about AstralOPs"

Yeah the aop is just the highest priority because the rest of the shop is kinda ass and getting one for free is still an improvement for most teams, in songque aops case it's for ele teams.

Tbh you should rather treat spending events as an extra rather than a goal and seeing that you already have enough for sonq aop but would need to go out of your way for JDS my recommendation would still be songque aop

You'd use her with pretty much anyone besides Mei since Mei is physical, songque had quite a bit of general elemental buffs and should be better than DS in most cases for those teams.
For JDS you could use her as a support for thelema/FWS DPS but for the most part the improvement wouldn't be too big since if you'd really need the critical value pop mechanic from JDS you'd just run hle DPS instead and in terms of DMG increase she probably wouldn't do much for your badum team but slightly improve your thele team

Tbh I'm not even quite sure about the thele team improvement even if she improves the team the difference will be quite minor

If you love her as a character and get her you can still use her

But for meta purposes she’s not really advised anymore

About Vita
As i mentioned i recently got back to the game after leaving it just before P2 release
So i want characters to carry me for the next patches
Vita is beautiful, i hoped she will be op too so i can pull for her lol but ig i wont

Big problems with Vita are
as a dps:

• she needs very specific supports (either FDD or Hofi) or she is bricked
• Lots of people already have ranked Vita so you’d have to compete with them
• she gets one weather a patch if you’re lucky, though she can usually cope on a few more

As a support it’s better

But in WoD she was never better than Sena, ||who will be free next patch|| and in LoA she’s been largely powercrept by FDD, so she’s mostly only for world star these days

And world star shill isn’t much more common + you probably won’t have the world star dpses for her to support

She’s still BiS in most world star and RoO teams and has her BiS dps weathers and is usable as a support elsewhere

It’s just less utility than a new release and decreasing by the patch

So Mei as a grail dps wants two symbiosis supports if possible

But she also has the heavenly shift and domain resonance tags

So she can go on a World Star or Law of Ascenscion team as long as she’s not the leader

(Or another grail team, every character supports their own ring as well)

Dreamseeker is a little different

She’s what’s called an astral op. You can think of her as basically a 4th teammate, though she’s less impactful than the other three, with mechanics that relate to stellar outburst (a super mode with details that vary based on ring type)

For most purposes the free astral op dream seeker is plenty because she’s quite strong

But established accounts might consider getting a specialized gacha astral op to increase the power of some teams

the team makes sense but keep in mind the leader (top slot) is who the main dps of the team is. In your case this is going to be HoRb.

For this particular abyss you may want to set Mei as the leader instead. Your weapon (Edit: oh and T stig) isn't maxed yet but the weather bonus and type counter bonus against the boss (after you break the shield to knock it down from its horse) will probably make up for it. Beware the team's playstyle will change upon doing this too since HoRb and XDC Mei have different ring types.

Do you have any other valkyries with symbiosis tag? Use the filter at the bottom left corner

Maybe HoRb can do some actual damage. But try a run first focusing more on Mei in general.

if you're stuck with VBm coralie, then keep in mind for outburst mode (big blue button you charge up) Mei won't have enough sp for a second cycle of her attacks. You'll only aim to do one full cycle, then end outburst early with her weapon active
(Edit: this is because symbiosis supports are what restores a lot of sp to the team during outburst. VBm does not have symbiosis)

idk if its my direction keys but after the first eva i cant do the other evas bc im not in front of the boss anymore

can be direction keys, if you don't move and just eva you evade backwards

that one basic before the eva could also matter to properly move into dxy

ngl for dxy, the strat for RL and nirvana is legit the same. instakill the mob, then do 1 full rotation for dxy (this should deplete the shield), AR, and do full xentintel AR rotation. there are more optimized strat than others though
