it gets trickier with spending since you're paying an actual cost. I wouldn't do it if you want my opinion too.

The idea of allowing it for brand new accounts is because rerolling reduces the cost to basically zero. Ideally you would want to do it for a new valk of value but in this case you can't since you would miss out on free luna this patch.

if you're an absolute whale and are going to spend on even worse value, then paying to accelerate your catch up to get into the meta sooner is valid

but most advice we give is going to be f2p or light budget focused (monthly + bp + level rush loosely speaking) where you still don't have infinite spending power lol

and really if you have excess funds with keeping up with s0 on all new releases, then imo the next step up are going to be gacha ops

but that's still going to be case by case and not a general basis

so your HoHE in her current state isn't really meta viable. Nowadays, all valkyries uses the astral ring system. HoHE only gets her astral ring functions if she gets her latest gacha only weapon (flawless benediction)

however it's not generally recommended to catch up on this weapon anymore. When trying to be most efficient meta wise, you have limited crystals to earn and spend, and want to prioritize latest releases

but meta isn't really a requirement. It's a bit paradoxical too. If you have no interest in the majority of newest valks, you wouldn't mind the loss in crystals to focus more on what you actually like

it's just for most players, the latest valks are of interest so these objectives naturally overlap

meta or not isn't really binary either. You can find your balance of how much meta you want to engage in

if you truly move away from your current account main thing i would be wary of losing atm is your SS HoHE. Everything else i see is easily reacquirable.

HoHE is technically reobtainable via

• Reserve Work bp shop which takes a long time to accumulate. 5 orbs per patch while she costs 24. Patches are longer now too
• Beginners get a paid bundle to get her called level rush which is efficient for the crystals alone anyway
• hohe is quite old so i wouldn't be surprised if she becomes more available in the near future though. And again meta wise, she is no longer recommended to spend expensive resources on like crystals

and HLE is quite new so yes she's quite relevant to the meta. Unfortunately it's past her release patch so speaking in terms of full efficiency, i wouldn't recommend it (your crystals are limited) but at the same time we can compromise a bit if elysia is your interest of focus here

then i think you can actually stick with your current account for getting stuff, and use a second account just to reexperience the story

some players get obsessed with getting the best start possible and burn themselves out constantly taking breaks and starting a new account over and over

so it's important to recognize what kind of player you think you will be and to plan around that, meta or not

of course maybe you don't know enough yet, so you may need to play the game more or learn more to see what it's really like

if your interest is HLE we can talk more specifically on how she's used or what kind of teams she forms, but doing so will mean you will need to learn how astral ring works

the simple answer is just going to be any symbiosis units you have will largely be good enough. The differences between them for lesser tiers of abyss aren't going to be big unless the fight has a gimmick to emphasize a particular character

at a top level, what's actually best will change from case to case, and can vary with finer factors such as your own personal account scalings

FDD might be a common consideration but this isn't an absolute rule. If you don't already have her, I wouldn't recommend her either.

Currently we're in early beta so things are subject to change. So I more encourage you to wait for now

HLE is grail of infinitude ring type so this is going to match with something else.

The last question is answered with a combination of the earlier answers. 1 leader where you look at the ring type and 2 supports with tags that matches it.
Example: badum leader with sparkle and vita as supports
(law of ascension ring type leader. Matches with supports that have heavenly shift tag)

Let's talk about HLE as a support. When looking at an astral ring valk for this role, we don't care about her ring type as much. We want to more look at her tags instead. HLE has three tags:

• Symbiosis - can support a Grail leader
• Harmonized Shadow Star - supports Wheel of Destiny leaders
• Domain Resonance (this is probably what confused you earlier) - supports World Star leader. (Again HLE is not World Star)
  • One example of this is HoRb leader (World Star) with HLE and Vita as supports (both have domain resonance https://youtu.be/0ZPgHkiaKEA?t=80

The big takeaway is you understand how an astral ring valk is multifunctional. They can dps in one way, and alternatively support in several different ways.

But it might be confusing seeing how HLE uses the same animations to dps or to support. So now we can finally talk more in detail on HLE's specific stuff.

for dps purposes i'm going to tell you to check out the in game tutorial (attack > events > tactics class) to be introduced to her attacks and sequences. The tutorial isn't necessarily optimal so don't study it too strictly.

in general for any team you want to set up support effects > then have the dps deal damage while these support effects are up > repeat (this is what we call a rotation)

HLE generally dps by mashing attack until she has enough SP to fully hold down her ult. Weapon active (assuming you own the signature weapon) also restores a chunk of SP to let you ult again.

When in outburst you generally want to use her weapon actives twice > hold ult
after the first time, you swap to symbiosis teammates to restore sp
then repeat the WA WA ult sequence one more time > another ult as a finisher

There's alot of details i'm not talking about here. Let me know after you're done with the tutorial and we can discuss in depth if you want to know. (advanced gameplay may involve not following the above instructions, but instead deviating in some way to optimize to specific situations)

there are multiple ways to trigger this "heart's splendor"

• Hit something with a weapon skill
• hit something with QTE
• enter outburst
• start the fight with herself as leader
• enter stellar surplus (for wheel of destiny teams only)

and most (not all) astral ring valks generally abide by this idea. So when you look at any astral ring valk you don't know, check their stig 3pc first to know how to trigger their main support effects
