one example we can discuss is bygone deliverance boss in SSS memorial arena

but this is very niche and specific, and not actually important

HoO is just a very old valk at this point. Even if you maximize her potential, there's only a few situations where she's really worth using compared to newer gacha valks

Well i needed imaginary characters and we’ll get other way than bp for hoF so i thought about her

I needed good characters for memorial arena as well

Since im most of the time a returnee after a long time i miss a lot of characters and stuff 🧍‍♀️

type counter on its own is only a 30% damage multiplier increase iirc

so a newer character who doesn't have type advantage but is still already 30% stronger may still outperform an old character that has type advantage

i understand imaginary dps is a bit more complicated though, since they can deal damage to the core early and directly. However the overall idea is still there. If you can't build an HoO well, you might be better off using newer and stronger things you already have

and the main time save of imaginary valks is if you have the damage to kill the core early without needing to finish the shell phase of imaginary enemies

so a poorly built HoO, won't have enough damage to do that

specifically for bygone deliverance, you really want SS1 rank HoO, but this is only an example for people who want to score well. Scoring well isn't necessary in MA for its main rewards though (so this isn't important overall)

perhaps this can give @vague flame an idea of how HoO rotates too, albeit there's no eden here. It's just LV or HoTr for breach

eden is still valid especially against img enemies

but again beware hoo overall has diminished in use nowadays. She was an option for the recent starless rimestar boss last abyss cycle though

very generally speaking if you want to improve the meta performance of your account, focus more on saving crystals for getting new patch releases (valk and weapon together)

other than team selection, abyss stages generally have gimmicks

lots of imaginary mid/side stages have a middle floor where a single tautology enemy shows up (the one with the twin arm blades)

tautology generally on its second or so attack will make a stance. If you wait for this, your basic attack icon will blink. Attacking at this specific point will break its shell instantly

and this can be faster than normally reducing its shell hp all the way down to zero

while you're waiting for tautology to do that particular move, you can farm sp and ari too. Attack lightly to not stagger it

Tbh i dont use most of them (i just use ice team, physical team, and the astral ring and doing rotations depending on fights and all) coraline is fully equiped and helia needs her weapon, i have the new weapon of HoT and thats quite all

ok well if you lack a signature weapon, don't expect to use the valk as a dps. Some signature weapons may important features to making the valk play smoothly but in PAWS case, she loses time stop and team buffs.

Signature weapons are very important for the meta. In the future don't pull unless you can plan to get the weapon before the banner goes away (eventually you'll want to get both valk and weapon at the start of the patch too)

loosely speaking a safe number of crystals for this will be 40k

but other valks that don't have the ring type, may still have the tag. FDD coralie supports PAWS because FDD has symbiosis too even though she isn't grail ring type

you know how grail gives you that massive sp bar to spam ults?

having a matching support massively restores your sp

so you can keep using those ults and not waste time farming for it

that's a very loose way to put it. the details are much more specific and a bit more covered in the earlier faq

but something like that for every ring type
