You can grab some kalpas signets

Kalpas signets are very strong in this weather because you’re always at low HP

And the one that gives you damage reduction is something you can pick up along the way without much downside because it still progresses you towards nexus

The way the weather works is that as time goes up the temperature goes up and high temps cap your HP

Yep. Most modern battlesuits have enough Iframes it’s pretty difficult to actually die when using them even if your HP is low

But if you do find yourself dying the Kalpas sigs for increased DR and max hp can help

Because Kalpas and Pardofelis signets are pretty generally applicable

I myself didn’t actually change my runs at all other than when I use PS I pick Kalpas1 instead of Kalpas2

It’s just that if you’re worried about making mistakes and dying those are some signets you can pick up. If you have a few defensive signets then even at 20% hp you’re as hard to kill as you normally are at full hp

If you have 1/5 the health and take 1/5 the damage it’s a wash

What signets do you usually try to grab with Hofi and Vita?

this should cover how tuning works in detail but in short, very specific weapons can be added to that menu for permanent global benefits. Once added to the menu, they can no longer be disposed of (hence the warning)

some specific weapons requires the tuned (integrated to menu) form before they can be upgraded to their pri arm form

please also note, meta f2p wise, hohe's new dkey weapon is no longer recommended to catch up on if you don't already own it

you need the non upgraded form of the newest weapon which is flawless benediction (gacha only)

that weapon can be tuned (causing it to no longer be salvaged/converted or in other words disposed/trashed)

then you can use that tuned version to craft and change it to the upgraded pri arm version (flawless benediction: legacy)

in your case of not being meta, it's kinda fine to just catch up on a rerun if you fail to get the valk and weapon in time. Reruns tend to happen a patch or two after release too (again this is not meta advice and not usually recommended)

stigmatas are not as much of a concern with crystals anymore. Ideally you still get them as you pull the weapon but at worst all the newer ones are craftable now

Should I Pull AstralOps?

NOO CAPTAIN!

If you are a f2p meta player, you should not pull gacha AstralOps - only players who are retaining or trying to retain Nirvana should consider it if they have the funds (unlikely for f2p players).

Reasons:

• Dreamseeker is good enough despite being free.
• Too expensive, especially if they need SS (~20-30k).
  • AstralOps have the same cost as a gacha weapon, therefore pulling one may result in being unable to afford a Valkyrie's weapon down the line (for meta players, this means skipping said Valkyrie entirely).
• The damage and score increase they provide in Redlotus and below is often minimal and not needed to retain.

again if you're not meta then what you're looking for may be different (maybe you just want to roll them because you like the character which is fair if you can spare the crystals for it)

but as far as performance and therefore meta goes, you really don't need to spare the crystals for them

unless your account is well developed and you want to build more vertically for specific matchups while giving up horizontal coverage

as far as dreamseeker goes, you don't really need to unlock much. Just make sure you get this middle node for now since it helps the damage on your valks/team https://i.imgur.com/1mAhxhZ.png

top row is their personal damage which is very minimal but maybe it can make a marginal difference if you can spare the resources for it

as for the bottom row: ||we will be getting SSS soon which would make the bottom row relevant to get but this is only for very specific enemies that are typeless. I'm actually having trouble thinking of one right now. Maybe pishacha slime? idr||

i don't remember the specific benefits of S songque tbh but you will definitely find scenarios to use her over DS

as for ELFs, there's numerous sources but the main way to get them at this point is from spending events (they're not always top priority there though)

other sources may include other event giveaways or paid battle pass (they already ran kiana though so maybe don't expect anymore from this), pure witch orb shop (if you already maxed out one elf and get more fragments for it)

the main ELF to consider is kiana, but ely and project bunny may be considered too. For more casual purposes you can just stick with songque and dreamseeker though. The niches that the ELF can excel over DS are a bit specific in mechanics

meta wise, i would be look at how many recent gacha releases you have but the only ones i see here are vita, RS durandal, and senadina

if you want to know what to roll next to make it better, to make it better for abyss (meta) it would just be saving towards latest releases and rolling when you can guarantee them and their weapon. You would play the game regularly and expand your roster over time. There isn't really a particular key past release to catch up on anymore

for this particular box, the divine key weapons are fair to take but only when you can get narrow it down to one left and get the others from other sources (battle pass reserve works shop, or possibly future events). even the most potent items are not going to have a use if you have no defined purpose for them

as for how much you already have, the main counts i'm worried about are

• honkai shards (for weapon upgrades).
  • You do have a few boxes that can give these but it would be preferred to leave them in case you need them for other resources.
  • You also get them from spending AE imaginons in asterite shop. 50 per shard so you can get 9 more with your current AE count. You need 9 to upgrade any weapon to max iirc though.
  • There's many other misc sources to getting shards. Check the get button

Source prism is a big resource in part 2 but you have plenty of that (loosely speaking, you need 21 to fully upgrade a full set of 3 stigmatas so i try to stay near/above that when a new release is soon)

every part 2 unit are alot more similar nowdays in scaling. While there are a few specific cases where a unit may stand out above the rest in a majority of cases, for non nirvana purposes this usually isn't significant enough.

Some specific units may still have specific gimmicks important for specific fights

if you want a general loose idea of what to look out for, pick up units with team elemental breach in their kits. So vita or FDD coralie. But this isn't a true indicator and people have gotten close results without breach before so it's not a complete rule

affixes are really just marginal stats. For a non meta player you're not going to find much situations to appreciate them when any gap in your abyss scores are more due to lacking teammates or maybe even execution?

but again some people just like to max out stats or build higher. If you don't ever expect to reach the high meta where the finer differences matter, then do as you please with the affix resources

for any resource in general though, i recommend keeping some amount in case the game changes down the line or maybe you change your mind

Overall, you should only affix Best-in-Slot Stigmata and generally aim to get as much Atk as possible on your DPS Valkyries first. Ensure that the Battlesuit/Weapon Type matches what the Affix line demands otherwise the Atk will not apply.

Remember only Physical Damage can crit, and "crit ratios" do not apply to Honkai Impact 3rd.

I apologize for the late response, but here is what I ended up doing with what you have available. I should mention that my run is definitely stronger due to my higher account stats, valk levels, stigmata levels and mostly the fact that my VBs is SSS and my HoT S2 but I'm also testing this in exalted MA which has stronger enemies. VG's rank is irrelevant btw, because she only functions as a collapse support here.

To break down the run:

• Start with VG to make her drop Theresa: Gluttony T's candy and to trigger FHM M's "on exit" buffs
• Make sure to not switch VG her again, she will regen SP while off the field, until you have enough for ult to give a free collapse point
• Bronya: Sloth B clears all of her remaining SP on exit and drains her SP while on the field. So do not switch VG in until you know you have more than enough SP for ult (Indicator for that is when her icon glows orange)
• Should you not want to play around this strategy, use FHM MB instead for the 2pc bonus and only swap her back in for an occasional candy drop, resorting to only manual quantum collapses.

The cost for Bronya: Sloth is also cheap if you're scared of that, 25 SI Imaginon which are easily obtainable through playing P1 Story and Chronicles. Further upgrading this stigma is not required and I made sure to use an unleveled version.

cases where you know you are slivering strictly speaking. expect to only get .1 or even less (the game won't display it but it is there, like +.09 or +.0x) (the higher the line already is, expect to get less)

beware each stig has a 10 use limit for these things so ideally you use it to cap out a stat when other ways of improving affixes aren't as viable/efficient

tbh in more practical terms they're quite coveted but useless lol

Valkyrie blastmetal and then any part 2 unit third. Badum is pretty fast to get stellar drain so maybe her? But mostly you’re just using the third battlesuit for the 3/3 bonus on one of FDD’s skills

Ideally you would want paws / vita/hofi but you have none of those

You can also use FDD on a Badum or RS or PS dps to support them

It’s just they can’t really support FDD very well back

current valk can work with next valk, you will have 2 working teams next patch, tho not the best 2 teams

I’m scoring noticably higher than that in RL. Probably some of that is better dorm and some of it is fully leveled gear and some of it might be just attack difference but I don’t think you’re capped
