Generally you want to pull for the newest release

And backpulling isn’t advised

But getting dkeys for characters you already have can be worth it because it’s much cheaper (60 pulls vs 150) and especially new dkey releases

For instance it’s probably not worth pulling Hofi key unless you have a ton of spare crystals or already have trio built

But if you do have trio fully built pulling for it is justifiable

With her dkey it’s usually Thelema HoHE and then a third that can support their ring like Vita

Without it your best option is probably that but with Shigure Kira SS as a slight upgrade over Pardofelis

And make sure you do the events. Most everything else is just you’ll get it over time, fragments are the priority if your dorm levels aren’t high yet but you’re a returnee and not a newbie so you might be at cap already

Should I Pull AstralOps?

NOO CAPTAIN!

From a meta standpoint, you should not pull gacha AstralOps - only players who are retaining or trying to retain Nirvana should consider it if they have the funds (unlikely for f2p players).

Reasons:

• Dreamseeker is good enough despite being free.
• Too expensive, especially if they need SS (~20-30k).
  • AstralOps have the same cost as a gacha weapon, therefore pulling one may result in being unable to afford a Valkyrie's weapon down the line (for meta players, this means skipping said Valkyrie entirely).
• The damage and score increase they provide in Redlotus and below is often minimal and not needed to retain.

SS gives ari regen + cd reduction and SP so you can skip 1 sp regen move in SO and just ult on supports and be done
SSS gives total dmg taken from ult and cd reduction
haven't really seen how much SSS effects helia in terms of score but the cd reduction is kinda nice if you do short SO rots since helia regens ari pretty fast with, ari regen from SS chen, ari on ult, and more ari from stellar drain when she's in a team with fdd
