well, thats how internet traffic works, theres not one connection route for every site and service on the world, your internet traffic takes a hundred different routes depending on what you're connecting to so you can have an issue with one thing, but everything else is fine
so thats why its worth it to try everything in this pin including both VPN's since it will attempt to change your connection route and might succeed in connecting to specifically honkai servers #🔌technical-help message
Man this is annoying I wanted to redeem the codes because I forgot earlier

so you've tried:
- clearing your cache and restarting your pc if you're on pc
- restarting your router
- trying both VPN's in the pins
- used a different network connection (not wired/wireless, but like a totally different signal like mobile data or a friends wifi)
all of that right?
VPN is the most likely solution, and sometimes one works but not the other so try both of them in the pins, they're free (proton makes it hard to find the free account option but it is there)
and both work good for honkai and dont sell your data or anything

but you've also tried a totally different network like a different residence's wifi or your phones mobile data too? that one gets skipped a lot

VPN's have fixed a few people so far, and just cuz you're on the same network doesnt mean your DNS will route you the exact same way everytime it just picks what it thinks is the best route at the moment you try to connect

no, it'll reset your connection settings and will default the in game settings

Experiencing the same issue here, since it started I've tried every fix mentioned other than router restart, but gf is currently logged in without issue on the same router, and the issue occurs only on my account when i try to log in on her phone as well.

My account is logged in via game center, that's cancelled. I can still retrieve it however my hoyolabs/hoyoverse acc is under apple id which wont work for this so it wants me to link an acc to log in via said acc. Now the issue with that is I can't link an acc unless I go into the game, but I can't access the game because I can't log in due to game center being unused, any ideas?
I would asked my family member whose a technician to start restart the router but they'll probably tell me its the server acting up

so first open registry editor by opening your start menu and typing "regedit" and opening the registry editor,
then go to this key Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\miHoYo\Honkai Impact 3\ and scroll down till you see a bunch of USD_V2_xxxxxxxxxxx keys, since you accidentally logged into a new account there will be more than one but the majority of them should be your main account, the numbers are your UID. Email customer support #how-to-contact-cs and tell them you forgot how to log in and give them your UID and they'll tell you what the login is. if you dont recognize that tell them that and they'll start the account recovery process

its a CDN issue almost guaranteed, which is why resetting connection issue data from the cache and/or trying VPN's have fixed it for some people and also why a lot of people are getting in no problem
those usually get fixed within a day or so by whatever ISP is causing the issue

it's weird that I just have this issue on PC, I can log in "normally" on phone after 2 tries
first time fails but the second lets me log in, with the same network
honestly routers route your connection to whatever you're trying to connect what it thinks is the best way when you go to connect to it, and saves routes from time to time based on device so basically your phone is taking a different route to the server than your pc despite being on the same connection if i had to guess

I'm not sure if this is the right channel for things like asking for help on such bugs, but in multiplayer sessions in the new card event on PC, it happens very frequently that a selected card is just stuck to my mouse cursor even after letting go of the mouse button. While this is happening I'm unable to play this card, only click buttons. Is there any known fix for this issue? My only workaround I found so far was clicking outside the window, which resets the card back to my hand. Also tried multiple framerates (primarily 60, 75 and 120), but the issues stayed the same.
Note that this doesn't happen in singleplayer matches, somehow.

Well there is transfer software for apps, but I'm not sure if it takes the downloadable files along (or if it's even good to take them along, since shader compilation at the end of installing is device dependant)

I see, then it's either a network issue in general or actually an input driver issue. Try uninstalling and reinstalling your drivers for mouse, keyboard, gamepad and such and see if something changes
You have to manually move the game data to the other phone if they let you, recently many manufacturers are not letting you see those folders easily, but keep in mind that the game could still ask you to download the data again
You can do that in the device manager, as long as you have admin rights
I already did everything related to those, even a OS reinstall just in case, the only thing I didn't seen is if any background process could be cause the issue

And good thing hi3 doesn't need a full connection I only had that issue once and yeah with the cards game, probably because of the constant connection on that mode

Hi, I'm facing an issue with the storage. I had hi3 installed on my D drive a month ago. So, when installing the new update on the new all in one launcher when it said to locate the game I hit the autosearch button and it found it on my D drive. So, I updated it thinking the update will be installed on my D drive. But now I see that after installing the update my C drive went from 41gb free space to 29gb free space and D drive went from 296 to 290. Anyone have a fix?

Yeah it's probably just reserving space and all that for some weird reason but within a day or so your c drive should go back to normal once Windows scans the files on it (don't forget to restart your PC)
Yeah i'll do it anyways, an issue is an issue even if it's low priority. Could be just from the way they coded multiplayer mouse input that messed it up a bit, when inputs are done too quickly in succession.

Help! While trying to unzip the files of the new update the error 2002-0-0 keep coming up and the files won't unzip, how do I resolve that?
if the error say "failed to unzip" could be many things, that other programs is causing conflict with the install (sometimes antivirus can do that), that the folder is mark as read-only, you are missing the unzip files, etc.
first try to restart you PC and try again
try to use a program and check where most of the storage is being use, could just be some temp files not getting deleted, or even could some windows update that just downloaded and is waiting to be install or as a backup

at least on the test i did for when i got the HYP update, "failed to unzip" means exactly that, and for corrupted will get a "download failed"
and the tmp on the name can get deleted only when is starting the first verification process

You just have to add the game exe to the app, but keep in mind that because is not on the supported list, you will only see like general options related to the GPU
Still imo, don't use the app to "optimize" games, is better to manually set the video settings per game according to your preferences

I’ve had Honkai impact 3rd’s file system reach 100GB.
I’ve also read somewhere that whenever an update/patch comes out, you have to delete and reinstall the game. This is due to the files keeping old data. Causing to fill up the games data with old code from events, just old code, that may be irrelevant.
Last time I checked my GB’s of the game, I was at 80GB

Idk why HYV or any other company do that, but is a common practice, and for hi3 tbh most of the data that is left from patch to patch is like max 1gb but most of the time like 100/200mb and is mostly "event temporary" stuff like cg that get released later in the patch.
Probably your folder have some corrupted stuff that didn't get deleted.
I haven't reinstalled the game on my main drive in like a year and is like just 4-5gb more that a clean install.
The is not difference unless you have multiple GPUs and want to use some for just x program, but tbh that will not affect this game afaik, the CUDA option is mostly used for professional programs now days, and only some games need a different setting to use some features, most of the time those features cost performance

hey guys i finally got to the sparkle event, how do i move around? nothing i press seems to work. the only buttons that do anything are the map and toggle walk/run, and the unique controls in settings for the mode dont seem to say anything on movement controls
it should just use your movement controls, if you're on pc try wasd and if its not registering, maybe try hitting right alt to switch control scheme from pure keyboard, to keyboard + mouse
if none of that helps then restart your device, the game might have just bugged but the event uses your regular movement controls

Theres two ways to do it, you can install one of the custom launchers in the secoind pin and they can do it in their launcher settings or you can:
Close the game, open registry (WIN+R > regedit > Enter)
Open Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\miHoYo\Honkai Impact 3
go to GENERAL_DATA_V2_ScreenSettingData and there you can change it to whatever number you want. just note that if you change the graphic settings in the game after doing this you may need to go back into the registry and update it again since it might default to the in game one again

but somme people get back in after a few hours, others it takes longer but make sure to report it to customer support

i think the game might not actually be set to 2560x1440 because im on 2560x1080 and theres way more room on the team selection screen than yours like this is my screen, yours should have even more room than that. can you try setting it to windowed mode 2560x1440 and see if the change equipment is still clipping off the edge and also take a screenshot?
I suspect that the fullscreen is acting up for that resolution for you and that would explain why sparkles name is literally going off of the edge and why windows screenshot tool is acting funny
because like for instance, the reason sparkles thing isnt showing up is because its above the o in her name and your screen ends on the e in cameo

when i took a screenshot on the left , that good , im will take a screen shot of rendering accuracy and the 1;2
that fuck up on the right side

it's was like the game showing off my screen
vpn didnt work unfortunately, i already mailed them yesterday and got no response still
depending on when yesterday thats normal. they dont work 24x7 and it is the weekend their time, but hopefully they reply soon
yep i have no problems with waiting but i've seen some hoyolab forum posts saying they don't provide much help so kinda scared about that
do you know if trying to log in from time to time resets the soft lock duration somehow?
theres been some very upset people yeah that have gone back and forth with customer support yeah, part of it is they dont tell them all they have tried, so theres time wasted making sure the person in question has tried things to fix it on their end. im also not sure its a simple switch to flip on their end that just fixes it and all that so while i dont think it'll get resolved by their first reply, they are going to try to help as best they can.
and that i dont know for sure. I think it might, but thats just an assumption on my part since i think that error is caused by too much suspicious activity from your IP, stuff like creating new accounts too fast, switching between a lot of accounts, changing account data frequently, stuff like that. so i think it might reset it but i have no way of knowing for sure. All I know is some captains get back in after a few minutes, others after a few hours, others a few days, some use a VPN to a different country and that fixes it right away and others it doesnt help at all. theres not much of a patter there tbh other than people that reroll a lot of accounts fast get it pretty commonly

am i wrong or the new option device lock was alredy a thing before the update the only difference is that now if i dun set a pass is not automatic ?
the game always lock your stuff for a new login on a new device but is unlock on a couple of days with the default method,
with the device lock:
- the "rare" items will need the password to use them on a new device
- with the password you can immediately unlock the device
- there is an option to disable it in case you forget the password, but you have to wait 3 days since you click the option
so in short the lock of items is still automatic, is the unlock that is not once you enable the device lock
so if i forgot the password i just have to wait 3 days and do nothing ?
i mean where is that option

yeah kinda, is almost the same as before, just that instead of the "countdown" starting with the first login on the new device, is after you press the button
and is on the device lock menu the option
