you cant look that up then, the login emblem in the ai chan phone isnt avaiable before level 60 iirc, you'll have to try and remember when you accidentally made it

i mean that menu is for claiming like 300 day login rewards and stuff so theres no reason for it to be available right away. but the account ownership form is full of questions that you cant really look up because a hacker could easily look it up too. So just make your best guess

maybe, except the forced switchover from mihoyo accounts to hoyoverse accounts was july 2022, so you linked that like 10 months earlier, if i had to guess if you played genshin around launch you might have accidentally made that with your genshins hoyoverse account

Does progress not save in between diff servers? My friend who's a returnee recently logged in her old acc and switched to EU but doesn't have her chars there but when i accidentally did it once i still had everything
follow all the steps, if you accidently go back before finish them it will loop
if you still have the issue after that, restart the game and try again the steps (if you are on android/pc you can try to clear the cache too, you can find the steps here #štechnical-help message)

okay that means the download is getting corrupted so it need to download the file again
at least for HI3 you can manually download the file with the links here: #štechnical-help message
you can try to use a mirror one instead of the HYV one, and use a download manager like motrix so there is less chances of the file getting corrupted
but for other games you will need to see if they upload the files too on their discord, mostly for SR only, GI and recently ZZZ have a new download method and should download better the game files

that's my problem, I figured I could delete the supposedly corrupted files and redownload afresh but when i asked what the name of the files related to the update were there was no response. It's not like it doesnt download but it keeps on failing to verify.
depending of the game and "update mode" the file can be different, most of the time, like with HI3, the files will have a ".7z_tmp", you can delete those ones and try again
if SR didn't change anything you should find it on the "Star rail games" folder, for GI and ZZZ i don't remember exactly the folder because now is on another path
but still, check if on their discord they have a "manual install" and you should find the instrucctions and/or the names of the files on the links

That means your download got corrupted, i'd try following these steps but try a different mirror than the hoyoverse one

For that theres not really a guaranteed fix but you can try things like use a VPN (if you dont have one theres a couple of free ones in this pin #štechnical-help message that are safe and work good for honkai)
if that doesnt work then try waiting a few hours and try again, if it still doesnt work then you'll have to contact customer support #how-to-contact-cs
oh and if you've been playing on a cloud gaming service, or rerolling lots of new accounts, thats probably why it gave that error to be honest.

Do i have to delete my Hi3rd so that i can install it to hoyoplay or is there anyother method? Cause if i install hoyoplay in the hi3rd launcher it'll clash with the already installed hoyoplay corrupting the files of Honkai Star Rail and Genshin. Nvm i found a solution theres a "find games" below the "get game" which then u can manulaly select the already installed game and link it to your hoyoplay thus not needing to delete the game

well none of it is truely replayable, but you can go to attack and click on the big story menu and then on the left side select this to make your main story go back to the previous chapters
so you can play unfinished story missions in there
(ignore the red circle around bitterness for a sleepwalker, thats chapter 3EX which is a bridge of sorts between chapters 3 and 4)

if you click on what i said (the big story button in attack, and then change it to tides of a time gone by in my second picture) it'll change the "active" openworld back to where you were at and you can continue to do missions and stuff
what i meant by not replayable i meant that you cant redo stuff you've already done, like you cant restart part 2 chapter 1 for instance

Only the glb client have the option for 2 servers (NA y EU server) and use the same files, for any other you need to download their respective client

anyone having problems with epic game store? I have all my hoyo games on it, but HI 3 the overlay isn't working so I can't spend on the game, I already tried to reinstall epic 2 times, windows 1 time, and honkai 4 times, it never loads š¦ works fine on genshin/hsr I can't figure the problem
Epic have many issues with his overlay and can happen to any game without any apparent reason
you can try checking if any other overlay could be causing the issue, run the epic launcher as admin, delete the epic overlay so the launcher will reinstall it.
And just in case, remember that HYV release a new top-up site some months ago, here you can find the links for HI3
Sadly in Brazil honkai impact is the only hoyo game with no support for our payment methods which is why I was relying on epic š¦ my windows is a fresh install from today, I already disabled Nvidia overlay, I'll try deleting the overlay and see if that helps ty

first try restarting your phone and if its still crashing then try clearing the cache (settings > apps > hi3 > clear cache, NOT data) and then see if that helps. if it still doesnt fix it then when is it crashing? when you open the game or when you go into abyss or something
how do i delete the previous launcher?
go to the honkai installation folder, and open uninstall.exe to uninstall it, if you linked your old installation to the hoyoplay launcher then make sure that delete game resources is unchecked when uninstalling it

unless it needs 40 beasts AFTER the quest became active?
its 40 legendary beasts if you're talking about the post main story quest for the farming event
but 40 legendaries in total, it doesnt count non legendaries

Hey guys, anyone knows how to make the mouse cursor disappear when you use your ultimate in combat? I play with a controller and I can make it disappear if I change the settings to just mouse but then I can't rotate the camera while in battle nor move the cursor outside of battle (when navigating the menu). It's kind of annoying cuz it appears right in the middle of the screen when I ult
i donāt believe that thereās a setting for that anywhere
although if you really find that annoying, you could use obs to capture the game and uncheck the ācapture mouse cursorā option and play through the obs preview

bandicam do have that feature
id recommend obs rather than bandicam though; itās completely free and has way more customization features

can i run honkai impact and hsr with dual gpus? do they work or does only one gpu get utilized?
I honestly dont know if anyones tested that 
it should in theory use both if windows pipes gpu requests evenly but i guess it depends on the program
if anyone has tested hi3 and/or hsr, please give me a ping!
if both GPUs are connected to your computer, I believe that you can force windows to use one GPU over the other in windows' settings (although I'm not sure if the game will override this setting)
you can navigate here by going to settings > system > display > graphics

Usually that means the server is thinking there's usual activity at your network location like for instance to many account change requests for instance and for safety is preventing stuff for a bit. I'd email customer support about it #how-to-contact-cs and while you wait on then to reply I'd wait at least a few hours before trying it again

You just gotta wait for someone to be in there that can answer your question

changing your email wont help with the too many requests issue, but thats because the server is detecting unusual activity from your network location so its preventing account actions like that. best bet is to email customer support #how-to-contact-cs and while you're waiting on them, wait at least a few hours before trying to log into the game again
I was just trying to change the email to check if the too many req issue was gone. (Wasnāt rlly trying to change) But before it said too many req now it says that. Also itās been going on for quite a while

Since moving to the launcher the game has become extremely laggy on pc, is this common thing?
the hoyoplay launcher? it shouldnt the launcher doesnt change the contents of the game files at all. I'd recommend first restarting your pc, then if that doesnt help to make sure your graphics drivers are up to date, and if that doesnt help then run the repair at the launcher and repair assets with the red repair button at the login screen. if none of that helps and the lag is mostly with the menu then thats a connection issue, try the stuff in this pin #štechnical-help message

Hii, so a long time ago i made an account with my main email that i use for all my other hoyo games, but ive since abandoned that account and made one with a different email. Is there anyway i can use my main email with my new account?
If you still have access to the old account, you can change the email on the account site (account.hoyoverse.com), that way the email is not link to any HYV account and you can link it to your new one.
Keep in mind: what you will do on that process is changing the HYV email, so will affect all the games link to that account.
If what you want is like "merging" HYV accounts, unfortunately that is not possible
I'm having a problem where in story missions whenever the screen goes black and characters talk. I don't have any subtitles on the black screens. I still have subtitles everywhere else. Is there a way to fix that?

first try repairing your game by doing the red repair button at the login screen and if that doesnt work try clearing your cache with the below steps (please note that this will default your settings so if you have anything special going on keybind wise or graphics settings maybe take a picture first)

and if none of that works after you've restarted your pc then it might be a bug with the game itself so i'd contact customer support and report it #how-to-contact-cs and in the meantime you can find the story dialogue in the lore channel pins, someone there has uploaded the whole story of just dialogue no gameplay so you should be able to find the conversation you're missing while CS takes a look at it

How do I get my game from the old launcher to hoyolab?
I tried searching auto didn't work
And I tried manually idk wht to do ;-;
when manually searching make sure to go to your old games installation location and go to the games folder (where bh3.exe is) and select that one
the default install location is c:\program files\honkai impact 3\games\
but it sometimes doesnt pick it up if you are using an old version of the old launcher or a custom one so if it after selecting the games folder doesnt find it let me know

thats the right folder, just make sure that the bh3_data folder is not selected since it wont detect it if you tell it to look in the bh3_data folder

but thats probably why, its looking for a config file. what you can do is start the download, pause it after a few seconds and close the hoyoplay launcher (make sure its closed in the task manager) and then copy the everything in the games folder of your old installation into the hoyoplay\games\honkai impact folder
and make sure that this config.ini file is in the games folder with bh3.exe
I don't have enough storage to do that...
or if you dont want to copy, you could try moving this config file into your old isntallation games folder where bh3.exe is
and see if it detects it then. the launcher is essentially looking for this config file. but if it still doesnt work you can cut instead of copy to not have duplicates of the data on your computer

yeah that config file is weird. try deleting everything after sub_channel=1 line, so the game_dynamic lines and below. if that doesnt work to have it find the old installation you may need to run the uninstaller to uninstall that installation, and in the hoyoplay when selecting get game you can change the installation path to be the same that you used to have it so in D:\honkai impact 3 sea\ folder (might need to recreate the folder) so that way you wont use up any more hard drive space than you already are

I mean it'll have happened sooner or later, with all the other games they've forced the hoyo play switch eventually so you would have had to go through this sooner or later unfortunately. But the main issue is the launcher wasn't designed in mind to find non standard installations like yours so it has issues sometimes with that

Then yeah looks like you'll need to run the uninstall.exe in the honkai impact 3 sea folder to delete all of that, and then make a folder called hi3 or something on your D drive and then when you click get game in hoyo play make sure to change the installation folder to your D:\hi3 or what have you. Won't use up any more space then you currently are using
Or if you don't want to redownload anything you'll need to start the hoyo play download, pause it and close the launcher and cut \paste everything in the games folder over, and reopen the launcher

Hello~ So everyone in here are fellow captains, none of the devs are in here but I'll try to ease your fears as best I can. It does sound like your account is hacked, and the hacker had to have gained access to your email to do it (to change the email linked to your hoyoverse account) so please as soon as possible, change the password to your email and log it out of all devices. If you have any other hoyoverse games linked to that same email those should be affected too.
But for your hi3 account itself, they hopefully have not had enough time to delete anything if they wanted to since when you use a new device to log into the game you cannot delete any of the equipment for at least 7 days of regular use, but usually people do not delete the gear in an account since that is where all the value is.
Going to customer support is the right thing to do, they are the only ones able to handle account recovery issues like yours, the account retrieval button at the login screen cant help since that button is only used for linking old mihoyo accounts to hoyoverse accounts, this is only useful if you have not logged into the game even once since July 2022.
As far as being worried that you wont get it back since you never topped up, or linked a phone number or nickname that wont affect the account recovery process in the slightest. The form they send you does ask for top up history and stuff, but the only purpose for that is to compare it to your account logs, its history so all they're wanting to do is verify you are the original owner of the account so all they are doing is making sure you are telling the truth. If you never once topped up then just say that and that will be correct. All you need to do is wait on customer support (dont spam them with new messages) and answer all the questions they ask you as correctly as you can and you should get your account back

I dont think there's any difference between running on a nemulator or through the launcher
it'll be slower no matter what on an emulator tbh. depending on the emulator and your computers hardware it might not be noticable, but the fact that it has to pipe the android game graphics to the emulator, who then translates that to stuff windows recognizes and then sends it to windows slows down the process. its just an extra layer of middle man if that makes sense
how noticable it is depends on a few things but it'll be slower overall, but on the other hand the pc version is less optimized than the android version so theres that too

Does the HI3 recent update no longer detect or support generic bluetooth gamepads? With x360ce, i was able to connect my Ipega controller to the game via bluetooth. they don't show up in the cutscene section even after completing chapters
I had that too, can add some details and workarounds for you. It mostly happens when your settings or FPS are too high than the older cutscene triggers could handle (Especially somewhere in chapter 10ish+). On mobile it never happened to me though, only on PC
Try the Quality or HD preset if you can't replay on mobile
Also I believe it stopped happening to me entirely, starting at Chapter 13 and no matter which settings or FPS
So probably just the cutscene triggers between Chapter 10 and 12 are affected. While researching the problem I did see some people in the past had it happening with other chapters too though.
first run a repair assets (on the login screen , the š ļø button)
then check that the resources for the chapter are downloaded (Ai-phone ā Resources, you can try to delete them and redownload just in case )
-remember that some cutscenes are on the middle of a dialogue scene, if you skip them the cg will get skip too

i know, what i meant is that the issue could be that related on the hardware, at least for the example i said before users with rtx 40 series have issues with the render setting and those are above the recommended specs
for your case, something is having issues with the video probably related with codecs or loading the triggers too fast on some systems, idk

i know the old launcher and the hyp launcher dont like working at the same time so maybe thats to prevent you from accidentally uninstalling the game when you are eventually forced to uninstall the old launcher

btw, other than the file reading being an issue for the game, if I shift my hi3 folder to the hoyoplay folder, would it affect anything else
ah i see, not sure then why tbh. but not really, its the same base game files so what you can do is start the hoyoplay download to have it generate the right folders and the config file and then copy your old hi3 isntallation files over and delete the tmp hoyplay download files it usually just accepts it and lets you launch right away.
if you meant shift as in tell hoyoplay to manage a folder not in the default location then no it doesnt mind that at all. just remember if you're uninstalling the old launcher to uncheck the delete game resources box so it doesnt delete the game

I think the old launcher could do that too but there were some extra steroids to get it to think that the game was already updated instead of still needing to update
pretty sure the old launcher required you to download certain resources if you rename the folder
mhmm it did unless you edited the config.ini file for the launcher to say the game version was 7.8 for instance. after the launcher validates the game download it updated the config.ini file to be the up to date game version so if you edited that the launcher would think the game is up to date and just say launch instead of update

yes for most of them. the first 9 chapters I t hink are part of the base game but for all others you can go to ai chan phone > resources and see what all you have downloaded and you can delete them from there

why does some voicelines play while tabbed but others are muted while tabbed? is there a way to make them all play even when tabbed out?
I think it's just the way how they coded the audio outputs. I noticed something similar when initially logging in. Tabbing out mutes the elevator noises but you still hear the "Captain on the Bridge" including the elevator doors opening, then back to muted for main menu.
Sadly couldn't find an option either to change that, seems to be the same output in Windows' Volume Control

They released at different times with different language assets. That's the main reason there's a seperate client for all the servers (JP,KR,GLN,SEA,CN etc) the newer games released in CN and then everywhere else for the most part so that's why they have fewer clients. Back in the day hi3 released at different times for all the regions

by salting you are just generating new HYV accounts with "new emails" and you cant merge/transfer game accounts between HYV accounts
so if you have more games in your "main" account (GI,ZZZ,TOT,etc.) you have to keep both or start using the reroll account as your main, meaning starting again on the other games
how feasible is it to play hi3 with a samsung galaxy a15 (4gb ram)
ill be away from pc for a bit
it'll struggle tbh, you'll need to have the graphics as low as they can possibly go and not have anything else open in the background and it'll probably not crash a lot

oh sorry i totally missed this, there should be iirc though i usually play with music pretty quiet so i might be misremembering, but to fix any audio issues you'll need to repair assets at the login screen (red repair icon) and then restart your device, if you've already tried that then make sure everything is downloaded in ai chan phone > resources but if it still isnt working then i'll test in a bit and see if i have music or not

I was thinking more of entire events like jp servers april fool event they've had once or twice that the event itself doesnt go for global, they could have it all in one client but the client itself would need to download the assets for an event that the selected server would not have access to at all for instance

What file should I locate to get HI3 on my Hoyoplay?
first make sure your hoyoplay launcher is set to sea and not europe and americas
then if it doesnt find it then go to your games folder where bh3.exe is located, by default its c:\program files\honkai impact 3 sea\games

The game has been logging me out every single time i open it the last few days
could be that you login credentials are corrupted, you can try clearing the cache (you can find the steps here #štechnical-help message)
or you can make a similar "fix" if after you login, close the session and don't mark the "save credentials" then restart the game
other things that could cause that issue, is a unstable connection that will get you a timeout and make you login again, or if you have like a "system cleaner" those sometimes can get rid of the login info
is the andrius boss fight in abyss right now missing music for everyone or is it just me?
i've checked downloaded assets and clicked on repair in the launcher a few times already

then sound like your ISP is giving you a bad routing, and a VPN is the faster option to "fix" that
you still can wait until your ISP fix it if you want, but that can be from hrs/days to weeks on some cases

That doesn't mean much tbh, not all the games servers are located on the same place, so if your ISP is giving you a bad routing, only the sites/servers on that route are going to be affected
You can force a new routing by using a vpn (check the pin I shared before for some free ones)
Or you can wait until your ISP "fix it"

If its been sooner than July 2022 or if you're not sure, then email customer support (email addresses here: #how-to-contact-cs ) and give them the UID in your screenshot and explain that you've forgotten what the login is, they'll tell you what it is to use to log in with, or if they say its not linked to a hoyoverse account and you need to link it then come back here so we can walk you through what to do exactly.
If you dont recognize the email your hi3 is linked to then tell customer support you dont recognize it and they'll start account recovery process.

please delete the pictures and video if you dont mind, there is quite a lot of info about your account and stuff in them.
But as far as customer support goes, maybe its just my history of working in tech support but they first made sure that it wasnt a probably common mistake of expecting dorm/returnee pulls to count, and then they asked for a full supply history because I dont doubt there is a department in their tech support organization that can, i dont think the front line customer support has access to that stuff so they asked for the full supply log, you provided a partial supply log (yes it seems convincing to me from how i understand it, but maybe they're looking for something else
) so they just asked you again for the full log, idk it doesnt seem dodgy to me.
I'd just provide the full supply log like they asked and they'll hopefully get you the tokens before the shop ends or point out where specifically the issue is.
I will say with your search in website thing for the annulons, the find text function doesnt show stuff that hasnt loaded yet (like if you scrolled further down the item log till the next annulon and then searched for it there would be 2 results)
but lastly I will say that no one here works for customer support, or at least not publicly and we are not able to speak to them on your behalf or anything like that so any speculation as to what the purpose of them asking for the full supply log is, i can only guess but I would assume its so they can go over the whole thing to look for something, im not sure what but probably something

Does anyone ever had a problem with HI3 MacBook version? Bc I downloaded for Mac and just the menu song only comes up no login screen or nothing. Is there any way to fix this?
I just woke up but i honestly havent heard of this before for macs, it could be a connection issue to the game server in which case using a VPN like protonVPN (it has free plan options if you dont have another VPN) will fix that. If you get the red repair icon at the login screen i'd recommend trying that too. but if all else fails please email customer support about it #how-to-contact-cs has their email addresses
Should be a connection issue, but if issue persists also provide a screenshot of the problem and your Mac model to be sure.

@sterile sedge for your mobile SEA server issue, this is happening because your mobile app store is set to a location not in the SEA region. if you're on android then download the SEA .apk file in the first pin and install that, if you're on iOS then i'd recommend making a new Apple account with its location set to somewhere in the SEA region and just log out of your regular apple account and log into your SEA one when updating in the apple app store

Hi everyone! I'm a new player on the GLB server and want to play with Chinese voices and English text. I downloaded the CG files in the replied post and copied them to ...\BH3_Data\StreamingAssets\Video on my PC, but there are no English subtitles. I did some googling and see that at one point, there were .srt files included in that video folder, but they don't appear to be in my newly installed version. At some point did they switch to embedded subtitles only? Is there anything else I can do, or am I going to have to just deal with no subtitles?
mhmm, as of 5.7 they embedded the subtitles in the cg files themselves, and for CN server which never had other language options, they hard encoded them into the video. no real way to overwrite those with the EN subtitles and have the game think its the same file

it'll be rough on the immersion, but if you want you can watch the cg's on youtube with the english subtitles, but also as a side note, all part 2 cg's have CN audio with en subs, its a thing they started doing for part 2 essentially
^ as an option that is, its not force. you can pick jp or cn audio and it'll have the subtitle of what text language your game is set to

not off the top of my head since the cg's are by default jp regardless of what you set your game audio to for part 1. thats why the whole cn cg pin exists
now the big animations are in CN on the official youtube. but they dont have the smaller ones mid chapter

if you know the UID of your regular honkai account, the fastest way would be to email customer support and ask them what the login info is #how-to-contact-cs (has their email addresses)
but the thing is is that it is honestly impossible for game acounts to unlink themselves from their hoyoverse account so if your hsr is unaffected, then your hi3 is probably on something not your facebook, or a different facebook im not sure, but customer support can tell you
But yeah just email customer support and they'll clear it up for you what to use to login to it.
