it has been a known issue for years but i don't ever remember there being a actual fix for it; if the audio still plays, you can let the entire cinematic play out so that it's counted towards your cutscene collection

It won’t let me get this certain cut scene in stage 11-6 of Deep of the end sea, the one where cocolia is holding the boy, and I’m really confused and I clicked too fast and it didn’t register and now I can’t get it to get me the cut scene again< i redid the stage like 3 times

the cutscene is at the "end" of the last dialogue, if you skip it you are not going to see the cg
if you watch all the dialogues and still are unable to load the cg, could be that the video file is missing or corrupted
you can try to use the repair option of the game (🛠️ icon on the login screen) and/or delete the video files for the chapter and redownload using the resources button on the Ai-Phone

Honestly that form of “delete” isn’t actually deleting, and will likely be sitting collecting dust in their database. Unbinding the account from the game but since it’s not deleted, CS can actually retrieve the data from the database just from the UID.

Kinda like how YT channels get removed from platform but it’s still in the database because it’s archived

Could be a broken animation probably, that "stage" is when lantern change the attacks for each part of the fight after the time stop

First off when i try to click "send" (when getting a code bcz it logged me out for some reason) It shows me "Too many requests, try refreshing ____ " and then sometimes it does work but it will say the same thing when i actually click the start when trying to log in

not a vpn, but it’s a bit more convoluted than the overseas’ clients; your options are:

1. play on the bilibili server (must have an android device/emulator, which you can use to play or login to the PC client through the android client), but you must provide official government identification from your own country

I had a similar issue on my phone, it's just the phone selects the refresh rate in a dumb way, either 60 or 120, and since you're not close enough to 120 it goes to 60

when you enter the map you have 5 missions, 4 where you fight and the last one that is just a dialogue scene and the one that is giving you the problem
could be that the dialogue txt file is missing/corrupted and a reinstall should fix it, or because you left the mission the game is having issue loading the txt after loading the savepoint
still you only option is reinstall or just see if the game work after that scene

ok so its not the cg's then its the character load in module thats broken, you can try repairing at the launcher since that repairs the base game and not the assets like the login screen repair does. but tbh that repair isnt always the best so if that doesnt work your best bet is to reinstall the game

what you can do is start the download, then pause it after a few seconds and close the hoyoplay launcher, then go to where your game is installed and go into the games folder and copy everything in there, then go to the hoyoplay launchers isntall location for hi3 and paste all the stuff you copied

Probably the issue is the server/client , your role say you play on sea, but on hyp is selected the glb server,
so if that is the case, is not finding the "glb files" because is a sea install what you have, and just changing to sea on hyp should "fix it"

im testing some things real quick on my end because the steam version shouldnt be using a launcher at all, it just directly opens the game so that error message is pretty weird but in the meantime if you close the hoyoplay launcher (and make sure its closed in teh system tray/task manager since it probably minimizes when you close it instead of actually closing) then you'll be able to open it

Sorry for the wait i was away from my computer but i finished testing, even with the hoyoplay launcher open steam opened the game right up and logged me in. Even if you're opening the game with steam you shouldn't be actually running the steam version of the game, thats why theres a login screen at the elevator thing when you open the game for instance. You probably in the past added the non steam version of hi3 to your steam library and then maybe forgot about it like Iho suggested.

Well I'm not sure why they decided to have it that way, but basically you can't have both the old PC launcher and the hoyo play launcher open at the same time. One thing you can do is in the launcher settings set it to close on exit instead of minimize. But eventually it'll force you to link your game installation to hoyo play so you can try opening the hoyo play launcher and going to the hi3 one and the right server and then doing the find game to link your current installation of hi3 to hoyo play and then you can open hi3 with the hoyo play launcher too

That was you won't have to install it from the beginning in the hoyo play launcher

hi!! i've essentially been trying literally all day to redownload the game. i got rid of all hoyo games bc hoyoplay has been so godsawful for me and won't download anything so i thought deleting everything was a good idea. it wasn't, in fact, a good idea. i have tried the hoyoplay launcher, the 3rd party launcher, and also the pin where you give the mirrors and regular link. i usually get stuck at verifying game files, but when using the mirrors i get stuck at unzipping issues. any help would be greatly appreciated! i don't want to have to play this on my phone.

so all that is because the download keeps getting corrupted (likely due to an unstable internet connection to the server). You will need to redownload but what i'd recommend is either trying the mandown steps below but use an internet download manager like motrix to help with the download. That or get the collapse launcher in the first pin and have it download the game and once it finishes and probably gives an error, use the full repair (not quick repair) to have it do a more comprehensive scan/repair of the files

yeah that app, i cant guarantee that it'll work flawlessly, but it will have a much higher chance of downloading the file without corrupting it than not using it

its mostly how the file is. if your internet is unstable then it'll have a chance to corrupt pretty much any download, the more you download the longer theres a chance for some part of it to get corrupted. Websites for instance if a part of the website download gets corrupted it'll just redownload the like single 2MB sized image and thats all. For youtube it might buffer for a half second while it restarts the download. If you're downloading a game its likely downloading all the individual files so a single 50MB file might get corrupted and it'll redownload that one file and you're good.

Hoyo games package the entire thing into one gigantic .7z compressed file partly to save on internet bandwidth/download for the customers. the issue is that if even a teeny tiny part of that one gigantic file gets corrupted, like the rest of my examples it has to redownload the whole thing, but hoyos "one corrupted file" is like 18GB instead of a 2MB image or something.

What my point is is that you are most likely still having issues with other stuff, its just not really noticeable because of how other stuff organizes their files and so on

yeah that could be it too, if your pc is BSOD'ing all the time, and if the ram/hard drive is getting corrupted then that will absolutely do it too. if the file gets downloaded good but is stored on a corrupted part of your harddrive then thats going to corrupt the file every time

well unless its suffered some pretty severe environmental damage it could just be hardware failure, its not common but it does happen

It would be the cleanest way to start your "new" computer fresh tbh without a bunch of repairing needing to be done to the windows just to get it working so i would recommend it. if you really dont want to then theres commands you can do to repair windows, usually first thing on a google search if you look up how to repair windows 10 (or 11)

probably, a BSOD every long once in a while is not the end of the world, but its still not healthy for your computer so 1+ a day has probably corrupted a fair portion of your windows and can make the hardware issues worse (think turning your car engine off in the middle of the road, things stopping suddenly like that can potentially cause problems)

Keep in mind BSoDs with random errors can indicate RAM failure as well
