So I basically reinstalled Hi3 on steam, and tried to log in and it started to say "Too Many Requests try again later" So I waited and still the problem is persisting (Waited for 4-5 hours), also tried clearing download cache and changing region
the game detect that "your connection" tried to login too many times, but could just be a bad routing from your ISP
you can try to use another network or a vpn while your connection is fix (you can find some here #🔌technical-help message)
if you still have issues after you try those options, contact CS #how-to-contact-cs
And just in case, remember that Steam have their own login system, you cant use HYV there

If your game is still crashing send the file created after the crash
it doesnt anymore after doing bluetooth unpair/pair
then you dont have to do anything anymore 
but on the error show that the issue was the "controller module", so probably windows giving issues with devices connected to the PC

the only ones that can help you with the account is CS, like the email say you can do the process again.
you can try many times as you want, but try to find anything you have (like photos/receipts/...) so that your answers are as complete/accurate as possible, so you don't have to try multiple times
but just in case, because you didn't play for that long, most of the time is best to start again that being a returnee, unless you have something on the account that you want and you cant have anymore (like collab stuff)

after 3 rejects there may be a period of 3 months before another form can be submitted
so better make sure all info is correct beforehand

Usually that means that there's been too many detected login attempts from your network, you can try a VPN (two good free ones in the pins) or you can try waiting a few hours and see if that helps. If nothing works then contact customer support and have them take a look into it #how-to-contact-cs

once your computer is connected to the VPN, it puts everything on your computer (including steam) on a different network
so just install the VPN, connect to it and then try to open the game on steam

make sure to contact customer support #how-to-contact-cs to see if they can tell you what caused the ban. that reason could mean a lot of things but it might have been any program directly interfacing with the game functions, stuff like intensive process monitors on pc, android controller mappers, etc

But as for why they didn't warn you, they don't need to technically. Modifying the game files is against ToS that you agreed to before playing and the ToS says that violations of it may result in account suspension or ban

Slight difference in refresh rate, everything else seems the same to me. Not much info tho, never even heard of these brands.

i haven't use any of those but i can tell you what i heard about those brands from some friends that used them 
Koorui is good for "gaming/home" use, most monitors had really bad range of colors, some have a "bad" response time but is min. and iirc the "ghosting" effect on the VA ver. of their monitors is really bad compared to other brands, so better go to the IPS display ver.
Nvision is a 50/50, they by default are good in color, refresh, response, etc. but the quality control is where the 50/50 come to place, for some they didn't last a yr, for others like 3-4 yrs but with some problems at the half of the life cycle that kill the advantage compared to other brands

I haven't used Hoyolab but I do know you have the option to pick the server you want to have access with just like in Honkai
check online if there is a review of them and select the one is best for your normal day use (like if you want fast response time, better color, ports available, etc) but at least with what i heard avoid nvision
are you sure that you login to HoYoLAB using the correct HYV account? some users for example made the mistake of creating a HYV account with gmail and another with google login, so they have 2 accounts
just in case, remember that you cant share your account, is against ToS and you can get banned if they find out

I'm really looking for a 120hz IPS monitor since I know my combo of a 3200G + 3050 (6gb) won't reach 100 fps
But most online stores offers 100hz or the sweet spot of 144hz
Iirc 60hz, 75hz and 100hz you won't really see any difference, 120hz and up is a different story
if you can buy a 144hz one that have a fast response time i probably will go for that one, you still can use lower hz in game if you find a game that cant reach that and that you want it to be "lock" on smoothness, or just enable VRR if they come with gsync/freesync
but just for the rest of the experience (browsing, using "work" programs, etc) where you can reach high frames imo is worth the monitor with higher refresh/response time
I'm still deciding on whether to buy the Koorui 24E3 because it's on sale for $80
but like i said before you have to look of what you need, if for example you work on stuff where you need mostly a correct color (video edition, art, etc.) search for a review that can give you info about that, if you only want it for gaming, imo anything can work if they are fast enough on response time
But the reviews are holding me back saying the color isn't really upto par also some ghosting
As for gaming aside from gacha .... single player games
check if they are looking at the same display... at least for what i remember the brand release monitors with different displays type but same "model" so probably check the description 
i know that VA displays have ghosting problems (idk if new ones still have it), and what friends said on that brand is really visible

i see, not quite the output log but the d3dll.dll causing the issue definitely means its with the graphics. what i'd recommend is first doing a repair both in the launcher and in the red repair icon in the bottom left of the login window, if it keeps happening then cleanly uninstall your graphics drivers with DDU https://www.guru3d.com/download/display-driver-uninstaller-download/ and then reinstall them. if that still doesnt help then at that point you'd need to reinstall the game unfortunately

like hero said, its not possible. basically steam has its own login server/accounts which is totally seperate from a hoyoverse account, thats why you dont get prompted to login ever. its honestly the biggest most giant downside to the steam version and i do highly recommend asking for a way to link steam accounts to hoyoverse accounts in every version feedback survey. if enough people ask they'll prioritize it hopefully

the "account retrieve" is only for linking account from the old system to the new one, so the login there could be different to the HYV account where you link it
the best option is to contact CS, telling them that you don't remember how to login to your hi3 account (telling them your UID) and they will tell you what you used #how-to-contact-cs
the other option is to login to HoYoLAB with any account that you remember and check the battle chronicles if you find your account.
because you use gmail could be that you made the mistake of using the google login instead of the email one during the link process, or viceversa.


after the latest patch whenever I go in to APHO 2 there's like a 50% chance I get system unlock pop ups, I've never gotten them before this

I've been upgrading my storage to SSD, so i've copied all my data including HI3 data.
And after installed this launcher + change this game file directory(since i'm using ssd, i've change the config.ini file and replace the file directory of the game) and pressing start game, this pop-up menu appear.

Like the error says, you have some files missing and/or corrupted, run a full repair and should fix it

ok yeah i was wanting to check something with collapse, if the full check (not quick check) repair isnt fixing it then the game installation got broken when being copied to a new location so you'll likely need to reinstall
anyone got FPS cap at 60? I'm playing on PC using fraps to see FPS that interfaces other than bridge can reach 120FPS. When battle FPS capped at 60, ingame fps also shows that.
theres a seperate menu and in combat fps setting, is your in battle FPS set to 60 in the settings?

but as of part 2 its capped to 60 by default. but let me tell you h ow to manually change it
Theres two ways to do it, you can install one of the custom launchers in the first pin and they can do it in their launcher settings or you can:
Close the game, open registry (WIN+R > regedit > Enter)
Open Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\miHoYo\Honkai Impact 3
go to GENERAL_DATA_V2_PersonalGraphicsSettingV2 and there you can change it to whatever number you want. just note that if you change the graphic settings in the game after doing this you may need to go back into the registry and update it again since it might default to the in game one again
hmm weird, just went into the settings v2 like u said, it was already 120 for both settings. I changed both to 240 instead, interfaces managed 240 but battle still stuck at 60.
and you didnt go into the in game graphics settings after changing it in the registry right?
well actually nvm you can go into the setting itself
but what if you turn the built in FPS counter on, does it still say 60 in combat?
yeah it shows 60, didn't touch the ingame settings either
what combat are you testing? iirc some of it is hard capped to 60fps
so far i tested MA, Realms of battle and Elysian realm
yeah that should be affected, i'd try restarting your pc and double checking the registry key and changing it if its the same, even to like 241 or something. maybe also try lowing your graphics settings in general lower than they are now in case its just not getting over 60 because of gpu limit
ok yeah try those, if that doesnt work then honestly im not sure whats causing it to be capped to 60fps, maybe your GPU's software like the nvidia control panel or something is capping it or something because its supposed to do that. mines set to 240 right now in the registry. as a side note, setting it to that in the registry should change the in game graphics setting fps dropdown menu to 30 since its set to not a value that the game knows

I think i see the issue, your laptop's integrated GPU is using your RAM and VRAM and so sometimes it can get overloaded and crash if theres not enough to go around, which is why for laptops without a discrete or dedicated GPU like yours the minimum recommended ram is 16GB. i'd recommend first trying to lower the graphic settings and/or running the game in windowed mode and make sure that you dont have other stuff open when playing the game. if that doesnt help then try running the repair in the launcher and also in the red repair icon in the bottom left corner of the login screen to repair the game

checked bunch of settings, tried HSR and ZZZ too. Somehow only HSR not affected by 60FPS lock. Previously working fine though, PC messing with me
yeah something is weird going on, im honestly not sure what it is unless you have some different performance plans in your gpu software for different games or something. but im not too sure about that
can only rely on frame-gen now, time to max out quality setting since i'm capped anyway

no, jp has its own server
nothings is capped differently anymore on pc, there was a cap for non-combat scenes, but iirc 7.4 remove it... the same ver. where the "max" render was change from x2 to a lower one, and recently now that changed too...
but still other thing is causing a problem, for me sounds like the different refresh monitor issue that windows have 
oh yeah i forgot about that. but yeah now that you mention it its probably the refresh rate
i'm using 1 screen only. The problem is somehow fixed after changing full screen option, changed back to same settings and works fine.

Tbh that processor is under the minimum, hard for me to say how below it is because different brands and all that the game wasn't designed with the unisoc tiger in mind. So while you might be able to play the game on it (might have to root your phone and lower it's resolution) I can't guarantee anything sadly

hard to say, it would most likely handle the earlier stuff like part 1 just fine imo but considering the cg that plays during the game download is rendfered with the new stuff it might crash then. if you can get on a wifi and stuff you'd find out pretty quick during the in game download screen. i dont think it would handle any part 2 stuff well if at all. but the ram isnt the issue its the gpu and processor that are not stonks

and just in case miHoYo accounts are not the same as HYV accounts, so that is why they have the account retrieve option, so you can link those accounts
the problem with 3rd party logins (like google) is that if you login with them on any site/system that support it, you will create a new account if the data wasn't already link, so probably you just created a new HYV account instead of login to the correct one or linked you old account before
you can try to an account retrieve to link your account and see if you can do it (read the guide here: #🔌technical-help message)

Quick question, you said you haven't played in a few months. You played it this year right or do you not remember?
If the answer is yes you did play this year then there is only one of two possible issues going on. You're either logging into the wrong hoyoverse account or the wrong server. Before you try a bunch of logins and accidentally create a bunch of new game accounts just do what Ihofox said and email customer support and explain that you aren't sure what to use to login into the game and give them your UID and they'll tell you that to use to login.
If you haven't played the game even once since July 2022 then go to that pin that Ihofox shared and read the full detailed guide, not the video. The video is just showing how to do it if there's no issues. The guide explains what to do if there's any issues
You cannot on your own. There's no button or anything to unlink a game account from it's hoyoverse account. You can ask customer support and see if they can do it for you though #how-to-contact-cs

Tbh i dont think they will help with their issue sadly, probably they unlink the accidental one, but they want at the end the account transfer from one HYV account to other

that is very device dependant and also what you would consider "good" gameplay. if you're wanting as smooth as possible then set them as low as possible, if you want a mix of smooth and good looking then you'll have to experiment with things. i forget if it has it or not but if the phone has a rendering accuracy setting then start there

also you're reinstalling? but the size difference is that theres some more download after you launch the game after installing depending on what you had installed before and what preference you chose (minimum or full installation). the bare minimum is 35.5 and the maximum is 44. your game can range somewhere in between those two depending on what you've downloaded or not
when you get into the game, go to ai chan phone > resources to download anything missing but we dont have the full game resources to download outside of the game
Is not missing, the file that you download is ~19gb, but is a compressed file, after the unzip process the folder is like ~25gb then you need to download the rest in-game.
But like Luna said, the game install size can be between 35-45 GB depending if you selected the min/full install and/or if you deleted some resources with the in-game option

Well the account is not deleted, that doesn't really happen. Google Play is supported still on mobile just not PC. But like I said the game accounts do not get deleted unless you basically beg customer support to do it. So your account is safe. It's just either not linked to a hoyoverse account or it's linked to a different one then you're thinking. Either way customer support can clear up the confusion so email them with the info I said to give them and wait for a reply (usually between 1-3 days) and if what they say is confusing you can always let us know and we'll tell you what they're saying to do
And if it turns out you're not linked to a hoyoverse account and only has Google play for the login there's things we can try but it's best to find out what you actually need to do before you try a bunch of stuff that may or may not work

But to avoid confusion, please stop referring to the main menu as the map file. The games map files are the in combat stage environment so that's why I kept being confused about what your game was doing
But tbh it still kind of sounds like an unstable connection issue, right after the elevator, when you see the character but before the main menu loads it checks in with the server and if that fails it'll do what you're experiencing. Same with the infinite elevator issue, an infinite elevator is a very well known issue that the only cause of it is a connection issue.
I guess it's possible you're having a connection issue for your main account, but not your alt and your device specs are causing the alt account menu loading issue, but a connection issue explains both of your issues so that's why that's almost guaranteed the problem

The main menu is one part of the game that constantly communicate with the server, I had that issue before on one of my networks, if something fails, the game "stops" and try to reconnect not letting you do anything (loop animations will still play)
When the problem is an asset (like a map), the game will just not load the asset or most of the time will just crash

But like I said before check more stuff that could be causing problem with the connection (firewall/DNS/AV/rarely Adblocks/etc.)

Hello.... Regarding the problem that I raised yesterday, which is related to linking my account..... I wrote to them as you told me and sent them this picture related to my account.
But since you've reinstalled already that would have fixed a broken file... I've seen the issue of a broken background before, what happens in that case is that you login, the elevator starts to open up and then the game crashes to your desktop. And for that issue reinstalling the game always fixes it. A frozen elevator or a frozen menu or a frozen missing menu is 99.9% of the time a connection issue.
Last thing I can think of that could fix it if it was anything other than a connection issue is to try to clear your game cache, this is assuming that you didn't use the built in uninstaller but instead just manually deleted the files
But if that doesn't work then despite your insistence otherwise it simply is a connection issue, that can happen when everything else is working, or on 5g, etc I promise. That's just how the Internet works and if you've tried everything else in that pin then all you can do is wait for customer support

That is weird and it could be caused by several things that I could think of, try clearing your cache (this will reset your settings so just be aware of that), if you're on PC the instructions for how to do that are a few messages above. On Android you go to settings > apps > hi3 > storage > clear cache (not data).
Otherwise you can try repairing the game in the launcher if you're on PC and then regardless of what device you're on it's the red repair icon in the bottom left of the login screen. Could always try reinstalling too to fix a broken file

What are you using for the email\username? It would use the same login as your main hoyoverse account. Also as a note the next login page is the hoyoverse login page since the purpose of this account retrieval is to link your old mihoyo account to a hoyoverse account, it only works to link if you haven't played on that account since July 2022

So since you don't have a hoyoverse account you'll need to create one. It's easiest imo if you go to account.hoyoverse.com and create a new account there, and then go back to the game and do the account retrieval and once you get to the hoyoverse login part, use the hoyoverse account you just created

though tbh if its happening on pc and mobile for you then looking at your pc specs wont do much. its 100% a connection issue i guarantee it. the reason the new account freezes on loading the "map" is because its communicating to the server that your current "mission" is the first cutscene on the first stage of the game and it cant so it freezes on loading. your alt account's menu is not loading because its trying to communicate to the server and get your game account data like your level and stuff but it cant, so it freezes there. your main account is getting the infinite elevator bug because it also is trying to communicate to the server to get your account details but it cant, it just didnt play the elevator opening animation before being stuck.
if it was a broken file or two like the lobby textures or the first cutscene "map" then reinstalling would fix it, or using a different device would work which you said you've already tried all that. I guess there is a non zero chance (like .00001% chance or something) that theres an issue on the server's side, but only customer support can help with that and you've already contacted them you said so you just need to wait for them to get back to you
but since you've already tried multiple devices, reinstalling, restarting your router, both warp and proton VPN ( sometimes one doesn't work but the other does) and have tried a different network entirely you've already done all the fixes for things that it could be on your end. So that leaves either a connection issue that is too close to your house for the connection issues pin to fix or something bugged out for all 3 different accounts of yours on the server

the tl;dr is that they do not work 24x7, they work a standard 9 hour business day plus i remember telling you just yesterday that they are not 24x7 and that on average they take 1-3 business days to reply. they are not fully staffed on the weekends so the 1-3 business days means it might be a little longer counting for the weekend since the weekend is not a business day. im not sure when exactly you sent your email, but assuming you didnt misspell the email address (email address are found in here #how-to-contact-cs ) then they absolutely do exist, they just havent gotten to your email yet

After completing chapter 4, I noticed that going into the Dreamseeker's home, it plays two different music tracks overlapped for some reason. is this a known bug? I can't even listen to music on the jukebox because some other some plays overtop of everything

sometimes the game can get stuck with the config, you can hold shift while the game is starting to get the unity config and change the resolution there
or you can change to a window resolution, close the game and after the restart it should show all your available resolutions

that mean that the download got corrupted, you can:
- Retry the download
- Manually download the game #🔌technical-help message
- Use a custom Launcher #🔌technical-help message
So again download whole 19gb?..
the best options are the last 2, you can choose any steps you want, but if you choose to manually download the game, check that you download the correct client file, it should be GLB because of the role

I got it to improve slightly upon changing a few settings to something new but its still stuttering quite frequently in basically everything even menus and the bridge, it sucks because I really love playing thelema but the stuttering is causing me to easily miss inputs on her

We even did bosses today which are the most crash risk

hmm okay so its probably not a hung up gpu driver, sometimes they really bug out and gotta be reinstalled but it would be affecting BDO too, especially world bosses (sometimes i used to like to turn on other player effects just to giga flashbang myself on kzarka

assuming you dont have a pending windows update its gotta be something with the game itself, if you havent already make sure to try repairing the game from both the launcher and the red repair icon in the bottom left of the login screen, hopefully its just a broken asset file.
if that doesnt work and if you dont mind you could screenshot your current settings and then clear the cache ( #🔌technical-help message ) to see if that does anything though it would default all of your settings and make you login again. but it might honestly take a reinstall though that is a lot so i'd try the other stuff first

But it looks like the asset for their face bugged out a bit, usually restarting or repairing your assets in the launcher and the repair icon at the login when fixes that. And fair enough

I try logging in with my Twitter account (as I always do) but there seems to be a problem
I pressed the sign in button and the loading screen just keeps loading without anything happening
if you have an active session on X (browser and app) close it and try login directly from the game
if you still are unable to enter the game and dont have another login option link to the account, contact CS and tell them about the problem #how-to-contact-cs
as a recommendation never use only a 3rd party login as the only login option, as problems like these can happen and you will be unable to enter.

Hey, so how do I keep the camera zoomed out from this? It keeps defaulting into being super close to the characters, even when moving and fighting. It didn't used to be like this, and quite frankly I hate it because it feels like a creepshot of the characters. I tried zooming out with the mouse/scroll wheel, using arrow keys, using controller, but it won't let me zoom out. It gets way worse on Bronya and zooms closer??
