ok yeah thats all right, so to save you on redownloading a ton first you can try closing the launcher, putting this config file and this bh3.exe file in your honkai impact 3rd glb\games folder and then opening the launcher and then running the repair if it detects your game

move it to my honkek folder
then download the exe, move that to honkek folder as well?

1. close launcher
2. download the config - copy.ini AND the bh3.exe file
3. rename the config - copy.ini to config.ini
4. move both the config.ini and the bh3.exe to your c:\program files\honkai impact 3rd glb\games folder
5. open launcher
6. if launcher detects game, try to run the repair before updating
7. if it still does not detect your game then yeah just try to uninstall it by running the uninstall.exe from your c:\program files\honkai impact 3rd glb\ folder and if theres any game data left over then manually delete that before reinstalling the launcher from scratch and starting over

hopefully it'll detect it, i think since your games folder didnt have a bh3.exe or a config.ini file in it (which the launcher looks for) it got confused but hopefully that'll fix it and get your launcher to save you some downloading time

ah that, thats a connection issue, even if your internet is fine there can still be a connection issue with honkai servers specifically (usually bad internet routing to their servers) try the stuff in this pin to help #🔌technical-help message

yeah it keeps getting corrupted, have you tried manually downloading it? if your internet is being very unstable i'd recommend doing the manual update and download the 18GB file but chosing a different source like the google drive or mediashare link since your internet traffic will take a different route than the hoyoverse servers

yes and no, it might not be with your isp specifically. but 99% of the time what the reason for it is is that the route your ISP sends your connection through to get to hoyoverse servers has a stability issue somewhere along the lengthy route through many companies data centers it goes. thats why stuff like the VPN works since it reroutes your connection a different path. basically taking a detour around the metaphorical blockage in the road. usually its not your ISP that is causing teh instability but moreso the route its sending you. still sorta their fault so if it happens for a long time or frequently then they do need to be called and told to fix their routing

ok if that doesnt work then like last time you'll need to go to the folder in the error message, delete the file if you find it so the game can try to redownload it and then repeat that step for as many times as is needed (the error message only shows one or two files at a time so if theres like 20 bad files you may need to do it several times)

well it wont fix the cause of the issue, the cause of the issue is an unstable internet connection. but hopefully the hoyoplay repair function will be better and be able to repair it

That error is that the game detected that the file is corrupted (by comparing it with the one on the server), and can be many things, most of the time a connection issue on the wrong time, but could be something like other program using the file before is fully downloaded (like some av), windows not working correctly, some issues on the drive, etc. Unfortunately, if you want to know what is casing the problem on your end, you have to manually check what could be causing the problem

99% of the time like iho said its a connection issue, basically your internet is unstable enough that downloading large files like those audio ones which are like 2-700MB for some of them it gets corrupted and gives that error so it has to redownload it once or twice until it downloads it correctly and works. you can check the other stuff that iho suggested too to see if the issue is something on your pc

they're on different servers so for downloading purposes you can think of them as other companies games

because your network connection doesnt care what company its getting the download from, only what server

Can "fix it" but is not the best option tbh because if the connection is the problem, other file can still get the error.
The best way to "fix" that issue is to retry the download, but you can force it by deleting the file show on the error so the game instead of verifying the file and see is corrupted, will see is missing and start the download of the file again immediately.
But the steps here are just for that issue, there are some other codes that are for other problems

for that to fix it first run the repair tool with the red icon in the bottom left corner of the login screen and in the launcher too if you're on pc and then restart your device. also double check your ai chan phone > resources to make sure all your audio stuff is downloaded

they do, but they're all the same client with the same file structure. since hi3 released its different servers seperately it has several different clients and file structures so they have to a lot of work on the backend to either make hi3 a single client like the other games or figure out a way to get the hoyoplay launcher juggle several different honkai installations

though when you ahve some time, i highly recommend reinstalling the game in its own folder, it seems like your launcher is installed in honkai impact 3rd and your game is in honkai impact 3rd glb and your launcher is somewhere else, a bit of a mess but that can be done whenever you ahve the time

oof, i gotcha, the main issue is that the game is spread out over 2 or 3 folders, if you want to do a clean installation then just uninstall honkai impact 3rd from your programs and features settings, delete any extra game folders you have lying around, make a folder called "honkai" or something like that and install the launcher in that folder and then let it install the game where it wants, it should make a e:\honkai\honkai impact 3rd glb\games\etc folder thats all in one place but like i said you can do that whenever

No, officially there is no support on android,
i know that can still work on some cases, but probably is just a left over from the pc ver.

and just in case, don't try to use a "remapper", they are against TOS and can get your account banned

i remember fixing this by exiting the game, deleting the specified patch file, then going to the versions.txt in the patch folder and deleting the specified patch file's line and its hash

that option can work, but in the end on those steps you will cause the file not to be verified, so if it is corrupt, then there will be problems in the future that will have to be solved by using the repair option, aka still download the file again

please first try going to the login screen and running the red repair icon in the bottom left and then also run the repair in the launcher if you're on pc. then restart your device and that should fix it (though keep in mind some of the older bridge valks do not have sfx/voicelines so unless it was the same valk that was working before the update its possible it is one of the older ones that dont have it)

well there was several other methods suggested, the first one of deleting the file was pointed out that you will likely have to do this several times becasue the error message only shows 1-2 files at a time and if theres like 6 corrupted files you'll have to do it several times before it works (assuming its different files every time), the thing cactism suggested i havent heard of before but it worked for them when they got the same error and they help out in here a lot so i trust that it has a decent chance of working

i'd personally try the thing cactism suggested first since its the least amount of work and if that doesnt work then you'll have to just delete the file in the error message and reopen the game and wait for the error and repeat that step for hopefully not too many times until it works

then you might be able to find your login info, or at the least your UID, if you open the registry editor (windows key + r and type regedit and hit enter) then go to computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\miHoYo\Honkai Impact 3 folder there should be a general data V2 account key near the top, if you double click on that it might have your login info, though typically it just shows the last logged in account so might just show your google account. but if you scroll down to near the bottom of the folder you should see a bunch of USD_v2_12345678 number keys, the number is the UID of an account. usually the one with the most keys is your main account usually

That is correct, the first 2-3 chapters did not have full JP voice overs. The cgs do but not the in game dialogue but after chapter 2 or 3 it starts being fully voiced iirc

could just be overloading the graphics, if the repairs dont work you might need to lower the graphics a little bit since the ER can get a little intense with all the effects of the realms of battle going on

you can always send them an email at the email addresses listed in #how-to-contact-cs you can just explain that you havent played in a bit and forgot the hoyoverse that your account is on and provide the UID

for that error it means that an unstable network connection corrupted the file, you can try one of the custom launchers from teh first pin if you want or you can manually update with the following steps (if you manually update though dont use the hoyoverse link, use one of the mirrors since it was your network route to the hoyoverse servers causing the issue)

pretty unlikely tbh. if they dont remember the login info at all then the only thing they can really do is contact customer support but customer support cant help without the UID since they wont be able to find their account out of the millions out there. if they're on pc and havent uninstalled the game since they last played they might can get the UID from the registry settings but thats only if they havent uninstalled since last playing

or they can get the UID if theres any in game friends that can look at their profile from their friends stuff

not that im aware of, the main issue is that the CN subtitles are hard encoded into the video feed so iirc there wasnt really a way to put subtitles in it at all after removing the CN ones. maybe the creators of that archive will have a subtitle one sitting around but afaik there isnt one

mhmm, if you change the voice overs to CN in the menu and download the cn audio files it affects the audio of the cg's too (the subtitles are still in your chosen language)

I am getting this error trying to run honkai impact and honkai star rail.
This is happening the day after I get a BSoD caused by Easy Anti Cheat.

I have checked in task manager for what is running and I don't see anything about ACE or EAC or anything else running that shouldn't be.

I see this message on my Norton antivirus security history having to do with NIKKE and it's ACE-HELPER.exe

I don't see anything from hsr or hi3 but since it's ACE it's likely same thing

and I get a lot of these entries in event viewer

I repaired files for hi3 and hsr, also tried to run fortnite again and closed it. 20 minutes after closing fortnite I see this in event viewer

and now hi3 is running properly

if is taking to long for the anticheat to close probably something is causing problems with it, try to make exceptions on your AV, reinstall the game/anticheat or close some programs that could be running in the background, mostly ones that monitor the system, those almost always have “problems” with anticheats.

sometimes the map collision can fail and should “teleport” you back to the arena again, if not your only option is to restart the fight/chapter
if you are able to replicate the problem multiple times, contact CS and tell them the steps to get that bug (probably they will ask for a video)

so the game center login has been a bit janky lately, it sounds like you havent linked any other login method to that hoyoverse account so i'd recommend contacting customer support via email #how-to-contact-cs to report the issue and they should be able to fix it.

tbh the anticheat that both honkais use is from tencent and doesnt support linux (not counting android), i heard that the "new" in house anticheat "works on linux" but since no HYV game is officially supported, I wouldn't recommend installing and risking your account.

not even that, its mostly the GPU, the game is running in a windows emulator so it sends out stuff that it thinks is windows things, which have to go through the emulator to a GPU that is more designed for macs to begin with. though with honkai i would caution that it can potentially trigger the anticheat since its running in an emulator.

uhh ive been trying to log on w my game center on my phone but it keeps giving me this msg🌚it worked before multiple times and it also works on my ipad so idk whats happening

make sure to report it to customer support #how-to-contact-cs and on your ipad login to the game and link another login method like email or something so you can use that on your iphone in the meantime. restarting/reinstalling might help but if you dont have the bandwidth for it then wait for customer support

lol gotcha, yeah i know iphone doesnt have an app settings like android where you can clear the cache for a specific app

Iphone is "very innovative"

So for you to "clear cache" on an Iphone is to uninstall it ..... that's a hassle

mhmm, yeah i double checked and unless an app has a clear cache option inside of the app in the settings inside of the app the only way to force it is to reinstall the app. you cant even just uninstall it and reinstall it since that "offloads" the app but keeps the cache and data in case you reinstall later, you have to delete the app and tehn restart the device so system data clears too and then reinstall from the app store
