and the way the launcher make the download doesn't help really, once the file is corrupted, you are force to start again
it should be fix once its on HoYoPlay, but there is not Hi3 release date yet

If the problem is still happening btw you can try these things:

1. First make sure windows 11 is fully up to date
2. Download this graphics driver, its a bit newer than the one i had you download the other day so it might work better https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/776137/intel-7th-10th-gen-processor-graphics-windows.html
3. run DDU again to uninstall the driver you do have and install the one from step 2. this should put a more modern driver for your CPU that might perform slightly better

keep in mind though that while this'll probably help things a bit for hoyoverse games, and I dont play wuwa I did some research and I do know that the default 8GB of ram is not enough for large resolutions or high settings on HI3, and for wuwa I've heard that even its low settings is comparable to ZZZ's high settings because of how unoptimized it is. since you're using an integrated GPU with 8GB of ram your CPU and ram usage are likely maxing out nearly constantly with wuwa even on the lowest settings which you cant really fix with new drivers and stuff but maybe with this stuff you can play on lowest settings in windowed mode or something. but to really play with decent performance you'd likely need a better computer.

Ty, I managed to do the ddu and update my graphics drivers but it didn't really help much but at least I know it's just my laptop being bad, I still play on mobile so it's fine

i just did it twice without issues, and a third time it bugged (looked like the ranger was stunned when they first spawned underground) when i was stunning/going too fast on the centurion. I'd say try restarting your whole device and then if you were beating them quickly to dial it back a bit and/or use stunning attacks less often. also can try other valks for this one stage, i didnt use the og trio and at the least it didnt give any problems unless i was going way faster than was intended when this stage came out

it is simply deleting the corrupted pre-install download file and then downloading it manually and putting it in the right folder.

but as to why its 18GB, ever patches update file is around that big, its the base game and replaces any duplicate files once its patched in but to reinstall the whole game would be closer to 30-40GB which is not what you are doing with the manual download steps

but its mostly the same files that you already have, it just replaces the duplicates in your game installation but the launchers "update" has always been the base game. But either way since the pre-install you downloaded before is corrupted you'll have to download it again, i just recommend doing it manually since downloading it via web browser is usually a bit more stable

Yeah, it might work, I don't think the in game download is a zip like the launcher one so it might with but tbh reinstalling is a bandaid solution, your computer is going to become increasingly unstable as it's storage gets close to 0 so you might need to consider regularly cleaning out the cache folders for the things you do have installed and maybe try to increase the storage capacity of your PC.

There's a few places where cache and temp data is kept. Id recommend googling it

Just look up guides on how to in general clean out the cache and\or temp files on your PC and of course delete your recycle bin regularly too

so the 36 GB is because the zip file for the launcher update is 18GB. windows needs to reserve the free space needed for the zip file before unzipping it (like if you were unpacking a box on a desk, you need the free space to put the stuff in the box until you've emptied the box. its a similar concept)

18GB + 18GB is 36GB

thats basically it. windows needs to reserve enough free space before unzipping the file to put the unzipped files to. if you're wondering why the launcher update is 18GB in the first place its because the version update file is the new base game. aka for today its the 7.5 base game + the new stuff and it all just replaces the files already existing in your game folder. Why do it that way? thats just how they've always done it

idk, what i do know is that when i was last testing the broken cg thing someone sent me a copy of their cg (which worked fine on their game) and it didnt work on mine. and i sent them a copy of mine (which didnt work on my game) and it worked fine on theirs. but every cg except for two didnt work, yours and a different one. and i reinstall the game every month and the issue persisted over about a year or so

I had similar problem and looking into logs it says failed to delete asset block from old patch

yeah that means that specific file got corrupted during download. you can try to delete that specific file (if the game hasnt deleted it on its own already) and then reopen the game to download the missing files and then kind of repeat that until its all good to go and lets you in, that would take less internet than anything else

To fix it all you have to do is go to the folder specified in the error message and look for the file in the error message. if you see it then delete it and if you dont then reopen the game. you'll probably have to do this a few times or more until it finishes and lets you in

the only times i saw that issue is with corrupted system file (mostly drive related ones) where the only solution is a "reinstall" of the system files
and the other times was with physical drive problems, you can try to install crystaldisk or hwinfo just to check
other thing you could try is to uninstall the game and hope that the files get deleted with that process

Hey i have a weird account problem. When i finished downloading files (i had to do it manually because luncher failed to do so, i followed the instructions mentionned just before). When all the updates were down, they made me log in my account, which i did. I cqme back to level 6, i must do the first chapter of the story etc... like a true beginner account, while im supposed to be a level 88 captain, with a lots of valkyrie... i check my hoyoverse account ; i can log in the hoyolab where there is all the infos about my account etc... i dont understand. it'll be ok i promise, most things with computers can be undone, and thats good. the file should not be there. thats why the instructions say to delete it if it is there

since it is not there you dont have to worry about that part anymore

but you're almost done I promise. all you have to do is download one of the GLB files from step 4 and put the file you download into the folder you are currently in, then open the launcher and click update and it'll take care of the rest

It’s so muffled and the quality is terrible and I don’t think it’s just my laptop bc every other application etc sounds normal it’s just hi3. I did encounter an error once or twice when I was downloading the new version when it was verifying the files but I’m not sure why. I logged out and re-verified the files from that screen twice and both times got a message saying “broken assets deleted” unlike when I would do it previous versions when I encountered an error. I figured it was fixed after that so I logged in and it still has the same issue. I tried one last time to verify the files/check for broken assets through the launcher to no avail. I did contact customer service but I’m just at a loss of what to do aside from wait to hear back.

whenever i put my manual download folder to hi3 one it still requires me to download in the launcher... any ideas why

Try first running repair in the launcher if on pc, and then whether or not you're on pc or mobile open the game and at the login screen click the red repair icon in the bottom left corner and run that and then regardless of the result restart your device
