1 game account per server for a hoyoverse account basically
so like you have a hoyoverse account thats xyz@gmail.com and on that account you can have 1 NA game account, 1 EU game account, 1 SEA game account and so on in honkai impact 3.
so the fact it tried to start over means that
- either the game is set to EU or something and you only have an NA account or the more likely answer is
- your game is not on that hoyoverse account so might just be your twitter login

your best bet unless you want a bunch of alt accounts you'll never use and burn through their starter missions while you're not playing them is to just wait until the twitter login gets fixed and then once you're in the game try going to your profile > account > user center and then add a different email to it or something

mhmm please do, a lot of people link things to an alt email or a student/work email and then forget about it when using a different login and assume its their main email
Usually that just means there's been too many login tries from your network, you can try a VPN or contacting customer support if that doesn't help

my game suddenly started to run at like 2-3 fps since yesterday, not sure what happened
in the menus it seems to be fine, but whenever it has to render anything 3d it immediately turns into a powerpoint presentation
I think the trigger is alt tabbing out of the game/focusing on another tab at launch
Had this thing sometimes happen to me on my laptop tried rebooting? It usually fixes it
Check you settings as well if it somehow went to very High render accuracy
I brought down my resolution from 4k to 2k (I was running the game 2k fullscreen) and this seems to have fixed it
I guess HI3 is just another one of those games which doesn't appreciate it when I run it at a lower resolution than what I have set in windows
It works fine though for windowed no idea on fullscreen but I do notice ahittier quality cause pixels are more spread out
It's not well optimized as well making basically a 4090 bend to 30 on the new story or something
Most ppl get 10 fps on a very infamous area on it or less
only place where my laptop is actually struggling is in oxia
I can only manage around 40 FPS
well I'm just glad I managed to fix the issue, tho not exactly in the most ideal way because now I have to change the resolution in windows every time I want to play

Just do it manually in game there's a way then play windowed mode
Unless ur that type of player who wants their full screen immersion

Maybe it's nothing but malwarebytes and virustotal marked mhyprotect.sys as suspicious, I quarantined it and repaired the game, I didn't download a new file but the game still works just fine

The process activation is automatic, once the leader don't play for some time (iirc like 1 week), after that the others can decide to proceed or not with the process, if many vote yes, a "countdown" start before selecting the new admiral.

The game doesn't use that anticheat anymore, now uses ACE... So you should be fine without that file afaik

Paying 10 stamina every time takes it toll.I deleted the CGs related to chapter 23-25 and downloaded again but now im out of stamina... Still if anyone has ideas how im open to suggestions on how to obtain it.
The only ways to get the CG is by see them while you play the story... If you saw the CG but still is locked there, you have to contact CS and tell them about it #how-to-contact-cs
And just in case, iirc that cg is right at the end of the stage, don't skip the text to fast on the end dialogue, because you can skip to the end of the stage instead of loading the cg

I set the auto text for the entire scene. However the stage just ends no CG is triggered. Bot as i said i ran it 6 times and wasted all my leftover stamina for the day.
What i am am thinking is that the file is damaged... but that would require knowing what file it is... Still i have to wait till tomorrow to try again 
yeah could be that the file is corrupted/missing. i don't remember exactly the CG "number" on that chapter but the file should be "4.8Mainline_CG[XX]_..." (probably is going to be CG06 but im not sure) , if you are on PC/Android you could delete that file, just in case run a repair, and after the game redownload the file, try again

oh one other thing that you can keep in mind, if it still doesnt work and you dont wanna wait on customer support, you can use the offiical client with your hoyoverse account but if you change the server to europe then it'll start a new account on the EU server but you can use the same email to login with. ping doesnt matter in this game so being on EU would only affect abyss opening times and stuff

if you have the time then still please let customer suport know so they can work on fixing the bug

infinite elevator is a connection issue, even though your internet is fine your ISP is misrouting your connection to honkai servers basically and its not connecting right. try the stuff in this pin (if your own VPN or protonVPN doesnt work, you can also try WARP VPN, its free and good) #🔌technical-help message
this is just a temporary workaround until your ISP gets their act together, it usually goes away on its own within 1 day to a week or so but in the meantime try the stuff in the pin to reroute your connection and get to honkai servers
might have found a faster fix or could just be coincidence but I tried relaunching the game quite a few times before doing this
deleting hi3 registry and redownloading the ~3gb worth of files fixed it without needing to restart pc

Does anyone know what's up with my bridge background, why is it so low res and also not animated? Max graphics preset. Also, default bridge is the only scuffed one
are both of those not animated or just the default hyperion bridge in the first photo
only the default isn't animated, second screen is to show that other bridges are fine
Ah I gotcha, so the default bridge theme isn't animated other than the clouds sometimes if you have it set to reflect real time weather in the settings on mobile iirc, it is very old and was made long before the other bridges or them so it's also lower resolution then the others
The reason the stars and stuff are so blurry on yours is because the camera isn't focusing on it so they get really blurry sometimes

Like not in a "it's not looking at it" so it's unfocused but more of it's in the background. I've noticed it will do that more often if there's clouds but less if there's not so I think it's just blurring background things like the stars for instance if there's more foreground stuff on that bridge (I keep that bridge on for nostalgia a lot)

nah i swear it wasn't looking that bad before, here's an example of actual blurriness, it looks just fine

basically everything outside the cockpit is badge
i gotcha, while i double check some things on my end you can try at the red repair icon on the login screen deleting your assets and redownloading it, can also try reinstalling the game but thats about all there is to fix janky assets like that.
also assuming your graphics drivers are up to date, can also try turning rendering accuracy to high since very high can sometimes bug out
ah yeah i just checked and was misremembering, try the stuff i just mentioned with deleting the assets or reinstalling and that should fix it, cant hurt to double check your graphics drivers too
that's a pain, was hoping there's a non-destructive solution, sadly "check assets" option in that red repair button didn't work so i'm reinstalling all assets now

sorry about that, with assets being lower res than they should be or not animated its always either a driver issue or an asset file issue and since we dont have the source code or anything i cant tell you which specific file is the default bridge asset one 
lmao 35gb of assets reinstalled for nothing 💀 should've straight up reinstalled the game
do you know when your graphics drivers were last updated? oh and did you try lowering the graphics to high to see if that made any changes? (yes i know max is better but theres been some cases of max graphics settings bugging things out)
some semi recent drivers have been causing issues with nvidia. actually if you can, sending these screenshots would help a lot too

it depends on what you want, if you've totally finished the story then you can delete all of those, those are chapter specific resources
if you're part way through the story, then just delete the chapter bundles that you dont need anymore

I tried to enter the game using my second account,
However, the moment I enter the game, that account revert to Level 1, meaning all of my progress had been reset.

so the progress isnt gone or reset, the only way this can happen is if you're logging in on the wrong account or the wrong server. In hoyolab can you check the honkai battle chronicles and see if you can find your second account?

No need to use a VPN at all - if you’re already in North America and ur App Store or Google Play is set to a NA country (assumed from your discord role), you can just change your server to Europe at the login screen

Windowed mode has always been available, but if you want to change the fullscreen resolution you'll manually have to edit the graphics settings with these steps #🔌technical-help message

are you using the steam or epicgames version? if so, you can't log into any account except your steam/epic account
well, no im using facebook at mobile but it doesnt work it creates a whole new account

you could just be unlucking and getting a "banned" routing(?, if you still have the issue, you could try to use a vpn like the one on the link i share on the msg above or you can use WARP too...
other thing, you can clear the cache of your browser and try again
or if you are just creating a new account you can try doing it on the website of account.hoyoverse and then login in-game
do you remember linking your account? because, just in case, the "account retrieval" option is just to link a miHoYo account to a HoYoverse one
if your account is already linked/was created using a HYV account, that option its not going to work for you
what is banned routing?
in short to get to the main server, you need to pass for "other servers", the problem is that if you or another user are creating multiple account (like for rerolling) they do like a soft-ban of the connection so its going to be unable to create new account for some time... [is not exactly that but close enough to be understandable]
so if that is the case you only option are wait or manually force another routing

if not then is the device/browser... but like i said before that is a "temp ban" so should be fix in some hrs-days

in game google login is only availble on android phones, you can however go to account.hoyoverse.com in a web browser and login with your google account there and then in the account security settings you can link an email to use in game
the game uses xinput so you will need some sofftware like a controller wrapper to send the arcade stick to xinput for the game to have a chance at detecting it

yeah you can contact cs... but before... the issue that you have is that you are stuck on the "...now loading" screen? you don't get a blank screen after?

Is there any way to fix the bug where the screen spins like crazy whenever you load a new floor in abyss or finish a fight in the story etc? It's so annoying and I'm starting to reach a point where having your camera spin uncontrollably every time you enter a new floor in abyss makes it a lot harder because I lose HP because I get hit all the time from it before I can orient myself -_-
you can try turning the camera lock to free in the settings, iirc the issue is the auto lock camera bugging out on which enemy to lock to and freaks out. if its already set to free though then contact CS to report it and see if they know of anything else #how-to-contact-cs

unfortunately not, the only way you could get the mobile version to use keyboard and mouse is with an emulator but those have been not running the game well or at all, especially since part 2. and for doing it on a phone itself its just not possible
*note the emulators wont do the built in mouse input for camera and stuff, but you can map the mouse click to the attack button part of the screen

if this is still happening then you can restart the game, but this happens most often when alt tabbing out of the game, especially during loading screens. you can do things also like pressing the windows key to leave the game or alt tab a few times to get back in. but its caused by the game not being the active window in windows and then the loading is over so the game "grabs" the cursor iirc

i gotcha, the video files (even for the new ones) are at 720p so if you have a sharp eye then even newer ones can show some pixels but like iho said when they changed the format to .usm in 5.8 all the older ones got really bad compression artifacts despite being 720p in resolution. unfortunately though theres no way to increase the resolution, even replacing the game files will make the game redownload them since its a different file than what the game has and all that so theres no way to fix it, the in game cg's are just a video player really playing the cg so theres no way for the game to be causing the pixels. your best bet is to ask for higher resolution ones at version feedback surveys so they can have an option for higher resolution ones even though that would add around 20GB to the game size

Can I like transfer the game from disc to another disc? Would the game still work?
yes sorta? you can transfer most of it but what you can do is in your installation folder, copy the games folder (which is all teh game data) and then if its on the same computer make a new folder in the other disk called whatever and then put the games folder in there. then for the launcher set the game location to inside of the games folder (where bh3.exe is) and that should prevent it from redownloading the whole thing.
do NOT copy the entire honkai impact 3 folder, that will break the launcher, just copy the games folder and make sure the launcher game location is set to inside of the games folder
it'll still need to redownload the cache if to another computer (and also the launcher of course if you're moving it to a new computer) but it'll save most of the redownloading
yes, but you need to edit game_install_path in the config.ini file. It's located in the launcher folder of the game.

you can still use the same HYV account to play on SEA, but it will generate a new game account for that server

just in case, there is no difference on the game content between GLB and SEA servers, but SEA have more users, meaning that is more "competitive" on some modes, and that each server have their own "time", so some get content some hrs before

where are you getting those? because the mall map of the 2nd part that is really unoptimized and is know of having drops, so we have to wait for a fix
for the rest of the game you shouldn't find many fps drops unless you are using settings above your specs, or that something on your pc is causing the problems, another program/corrupted drivers/etc.

Hi, I can't seem to progress in Elysian: Deep Sequence. I have a story mission to do Deep Sequence 1 and reach the 5th floor. I select Deep Sequence, pick Senadina, and enter Forgotten City 1. But there's nothing there. Just an empty room and nothing happens. I'm not sure how to progress from this point.

yeah it should be having someone talk to you after its done iirc. you dont talk to anyone inside of the realm like on floor 5 or 6, theres no one inside of it. if you havent tried already try restarting your device (not just the game but your whole device) and also make sure to check the side areas, in your screenshot of the lobby there will never be an npc standing in the middle there its always off to the left or right like sitting around. but if they're not there or the mission isnt claimed then please report it to customer support to have them investigate #how-to-contact-cs

or another thing you can try is in your missions list, click go in the bottom right corner of that instead of clicking deep sequence from the lobby
but in theory it should be working exactly like the previous explore once missions you've done

By mission list do you mean on the left middle of the screen where it says "Story Missions" ? If click that it takes me to the graph in the picture above.

try first making sure your device meets the specs in the 2nd pin (this one #🔌technical-help message ) but if it does meet the specs then might try repairing the in game assets with the red repair icon in the bottom left of the login screen
and if your device does meet the specs and repairing does nothing then tbh reinstalling the game should fix it (no ones had that specific issue that i can recall so its not a widespread thing) or you can contact customer support to see if they have a solution that doesnt involve reinstalling #how-to-contact-cs

What are the problems that you are getting?
For what I have seen, the game mostly work fine, there were some bugs, that mostly are fixed now with the small updates they release, but most people that still have "breaking" issue are mostly because they are playing on devices below the min specs of the game
But yeah no game is perfect do you still can find some bugs from time to time, if you are able to replicate them you can talk to CS with the steps so they can fix it on future ver. of the game
The camera spins uncontrollably between waves / entering or finishing stages or dialogues and some cutscenes are completely broken and will break and won't continue playing when you're watching them but other than that, I haven't had any issues except a crash bug like day one when I installed the game. You could try your luck in #🔌technical-help although people were nice in there, I wasn't able to fix the spinning camera issues even with their help and it annoys me to no end and even hampers the gameplay at times because I'll get hit when a new floor spawns in abyss and other similar game modes -_-
None of those are the problem I think it might be the cloud app I'm using

Yeah vs their actual counterparts 4060 vs 3060 4070 vs 3070, they are pretty much the same just that 40 series is better in software with dlss3 and frame gen which tbh is not worth unless maybe 50-100 bucks more at most am looking at some 30 series and they do get cheaper cause clearance sales for the 40 series 
yeah in laptops te 4060 vs 4070 is generally not worth it unless its only like 10% or something more money but the voltage limit pretty much makes the 4080 n 4090 actually run above 100w vs the lower end ones

Well some ppl are willing to drop money judt for the sake of convenience simply moving or those Desktop replacements who take lesser space than a desktop or those are like civil engineers who can't have a desktop on site but a laptop hence it does make sense but it's mainly for marketed for gamers cause well thays the main demographic

Currently in australia, i downloaded hi3 on pc and play for a while, now when i try to login to my phone it sends me to another server. is there a way to log into a different server?
i just saw that i may need to redownload the client on my phone from a different server via vpn... any suggestions?

whats the name of your app and are you on android or iPhone?
yeah thats the sea server, since mobile uses your region and australia is part of the SEA server.
for mobile yes you will need to unisntall and reinsatll the game but its a little tricky on iphones since you cant manually install it. iphone uses your appleID's location to tell the app store what apps to have so the cleanest way to do this is to make a new appleID account and set the location to somewhere in europe (doesnt matter where just anywhere) and then without a VPN usually and you can install the global client (NA/EU) and update it when a new version happens on your phone by just switching to the new appleID when going to the app store and then play the europe server.
if you dont wanna make a new appleID account you'll need to change your location but keep in mind that this will change the app store for non HI3 use to europe selections and prices and so you will probably want to change it back and forth frequently which apple thinks its strange if you do that too often and might prevent you from swapping, not sure if they do this now but it was a thing that happened to a few people before so i recommend if possible making a new appleID
apple doesnt give you much control about that like how android lets you manually download and update apps so you can just download it yourself so thats what you have to do to play a different region than where you're physically at

its still very possible, but yeah its a bit of a process to set it up

ah i see, so the issue is sort of with cloudmoon, basically the cloud gaming service uses the same network and the honkai server is seeing tons of logins/new account creations from that same network and thinks its sus so is giving that message. if you cant use any other method to play the game then you'll just have to keep trying since even using a VPN wont change anything since the server is just seeing all of the activity from the cloudmoon network so the way you connect to cloudmoon (like with a VPN) wont change anything

ah i see, try uninstlaling the regular client and installing the epic version and if the store still isnt showing the crystals and bchips then try clearing your cache with these steps (including the restart) and if that doesnt work then contact customer support, they'll help you give them money

world pay is just the name of the merchant that the normal honkai game uses (mobile and pc) its a globally accessible payment merchent, it just handles the credit card transaction and stuff
but yes codashop only does SEA accounts, no option to do NA or EU accounts

its safe to use yes, 99% of honkai users use it every day and its not a website like codashop, when you're in game and you go to buy something and it shows the payment portal where it asks you to enter your card info and stuff, thats worldpay. its just the name of the company that handles the credit card payment.

im not following what you're saying, worldpay isnt a website, its the in game payment portal that you tried earlier and it declined your visa
theres no enter your UID or anything like codashop. the pop up window that asks for your card info, thats what worldpay is, thats all it is

I found an interesting issue. Valkyre Boltstorm (Helia) in Elisian Realm getting the Blessing of Blessing of Sparkling Lightning.
This drops an Energy catalyst and in some cases this catalyst can drop outside the play area. It never despawns and you cant get another catalyst.
Should this be reported in a ticket or is it unnecesary?

yes, a lot of files get replaced entirely, not just the new contents in files so its a large update but the game size doesnt increase a ton

You need to reallocate the game path too
Go to settings on the launcher, go to game resource, click Use another folder, find the new drive where your games files at and after you find it you're done

for that you can try repairing your assets (red repair icon in the bottom left of the login screen) but if that doesnt work then contact customer support for a more reliable solution, but that cutscene has had a lot of issues freezing, you can also just try it a few times it sometimes works #how-to-contact-cs

I assume you are referring to the end stage animation , right?
you can run an repair of the assets using the button on the login screen and that should fix it,
unless you are playing on a device that is below the [min specs of the game](#🔌technical-help message), the animations can break on those devices, affecting the old valk more that the new ones, but those can still have broken animations

Hi im trying to recover an old account of mine. I used to play on a Samsung phone back when the game released, I have an iPhone now so im trying to open through Google play on pc.
I accidentally made a new account and connected it to my email, so somehow I have two attached to the same email. I deleted the new account and when I try the option to retrieve account, it comes up with my old account from 4 years ago- but won’t let me open it.
Has anyone else had this issue before or should I just contact support?
hihi~ lemme help, it'll be a long message so bear with me while i type it out
so first thing to keep in mind is that the reason both your old honkai game account and the new accidentally made honkai game account are on the "same email" is because they are on different account systems. your old honkai account is on the old mihoyo account system and the new honkai game account is on the hoyoverse account system, thats why they both "share" the same email. Its because they're on different account systems entirely.
now one thing that you need to understand before you keep reading is that you set your hoyoverse account that the new honkai account is linked to to be deleted. Thats right, not your new honkai game account because deleting game accounts is impossible, but the hoyoverse account. that process takes 30 days once you confirm delete at the hoyoverse account screen but the important thing to know is that it will get rid of every hoyoverse game connected to that hoyoverse account. that includes HSR and genshin, the new honkai account as well as the game accounts for those other games will be still existing on the server somewhere but will not have a way to login or link to a hoyoverse account so you will not be able to access them. so if you have either of those connected to that hoyoverse account too and dont want to lose access to them then please cancel the deletion of that hoyoverse account at account.hoyoverse.com
now for the part of what you need to do. You have 2 options depending on what you want to do.
- you let the deletion request finish (30 days from when y ou started it) and then go to account.hoyoverse.com and click register to create a new hoyoverse account with the email that you've been trying to use this whole time and then once that new hoyoverse account is created you can do the account retreival button you've been doing to link your old honkai account to the newly created hoyoverse account.
- you cancel the hoyoverse account deletion (because you want to keep the other games on it) and you can either make a new hoyoverse account with a different email and then use that to link your old honkai account to and then just remember to use that new email to log in with, this can be done right away to let you in the game in less than an hour.
or you contact customer support and explain your situation to them and tell them that you want to unlink the new accidentally made honkai account and hope they can, do NOT play on the new honkai account because if it gets past the tutorial they definitely cant get rid of it due to policy
as a side note, if you care about being competitive in the game then every valk from before the account switchover back in 2022 is old, powercrept and not usable really in the weekly boss rush things you can do and stuff so if you care about that then your account will be in a much more competetive state if you restarted your progress and just started using the new honkai account

for thata you will have to reinstall, thats the only thing thats worked so far. though also please let customer support know so they get a better picture of how many people are having it and can prioritize fixing it

Ah so is it even worth trying to get the account back. I have a couple of the old event skins from back in 2016-2018 but besides that my account wasn’t anything special
not sure which event skins you had but a lot of the really old ones cant be gotten back, if you're attached to them then its worth getting that account back but even characters released half a year ago are not useable or barely usable so if you want to perform well in the end game with all the other end game players then it would be better to restart. its kind of up to you really and how casual you want to be when playing

When I restarted I was surprised that the Mei herrscher was in the tutorial cause back in early years it was such a big deal
np! and yeah basically the beginner rewards gives you plenty of old characters to get you through the story until it starts forcing you to use the trial characters around chapter 8 iirc but for the end game competetive modes none of them are useful.
if you are gonna keep it dont forget to go to account.hoyoverse.com and cancel the deletion of your hoyoverse account so it wont get deleted soon

i know this may not be the place to ask this but i reached out to CS and the response i got was to a inquiry i made a year ago about rerolling not to my current inquiry about account recovery issues and google marked the email as suspicious
the response does not show up in the email i sent which is unusual
whats the email address you sent it to?
sometimes google is weird like that and can also fasely marks things as suspicious but as long as it was the right email address, but if your previous case was never closed they're probably going off of your previous email chain, if its the right email address then you can just tell them that that issue is no longer and issue but the one you currently need is the one you're currently asking them and repeat that new question

tbh that was probably your in game nickname and not a login username
but the only way to get your UID without being able to log into either the game or hoyolab with that account is to see if you have any in game friends that you can contact outside of the game since your friend profile shows your UID
or if you shared an invite code that is partially your UID iirc

cuz thats your nickname that it shows up there, the only way to set a login username is by going to account.hoyoverse.com website and setting the username there, and it can only be done once ever. maybe you did set a username at the hoyoverse account site, but either way without a UID customer support cant find your account, trust me i've tried before and they cant help without the UID
and tbh these days you cant even set a username without having an email linked, it forces you to. you could only set a username and no email back in the early days of hoyoverse accounts iirc
its because theres millions of accounts and they use the account ID (UID) to search for them to find your account to assist you with it
