so basicaly if other account acces to it, can just copy and paste to share, but you cant doit from your own account

@lone shoal afaik when you enter the battle chronicles shortcut via the "homepage" the website use the "gameID" instead of the "userID" one so the URL is only for the current user,
if you want to share yours you need to enter to battle chronicles on your profile that way its going to use the UserID URL

if you are going to use a custom launcher they should detect the game install if you already have it, if not you can use the default one

not much, afaik they download the files in "threads", so if one part of the file have an issue in the download they just redownload that part instead of the full file

still is best to manually pause the download before closing the launcher

i grab that entire folder from windows.old folder to newly installed windows's game directory

but first you need to star download then pause and exist as soon as you download few kb

you can pause and restart download as many time as you want

Usually just something the game thinks it's weird, like the error says first try restarting your PC

-aggressive antivirus, try turning it off and running the game
-having memory isolation (core isolation) on. You can Google how to turn that off and see if that helps.
-running any kind of virtual machine software or process monitoring software other than task manager.
-some game mod launches like Minecraft mod launches have caused that too.

If none of that pans out then contact customer support, unlike us that have to guess, they should be able to look up the error code number and give you a much better idea of what's causing it #how-to-contact-cs

That's the only possible way to "delete" a game account so if you deleted honkai in any other way then you're probably using the wrong hoyoverse or using the wrong server, can also contact customer support with your UID and they can help #how-to-contact-cs

usually when people get put into a new accounts its because they're using the wrong hoyoverse account and forgot what their honkai account is bound to. the only times it'll start a new game account is if there is no honkai account on the hoyoverse.

I cant really help with the gmail thing so good luck with that but i will say dont delete your GI game cache or reinstall it or it'll prompt you to do email verification and that wont really work if you cant access your email

yes, you played before 2022 which is when you created y our account on the mihoyo account system. after july 2022 you linked that account to a hoyoverse account because the login system changed to only allowing hoyoverse account login at that time. since then you've forgotten which hoyoverse account its linked to.

the reason it shows up in account retreival is becasuse its looking at the mihoyo account system for the first half so thats why it shows your old account using the old fb login. then when you go to link it to a hoyoverse account the system see's its already been linked and gives that error message. the issue is that you've just forgotten which hoyoverse account you linked it to after july 2022

so thats why customer support can just see what hoyoverse account its linked to and give you a mostly censored version of that info so you can remember what email it uses

still better than when BDO changed its account system tbh. when they changed it all they did was send an in game mail saying "change it before x date or you cant ever and your account will get deleted" some people who missed that lost thousands of hours of grinding

im getting a strange issue with the CG cutscenes on PC

basically, they'll play normally for a bit, but after playing for long enough, the frames start heavily staggering

i've tried clearing and redownloading broken assets, but that didn't seem to work. It happens regardless of my graphical settings. I did download the CN cutscenes, does that have something to do with it?

the rest of the game runs without noticeable flaws, it's just these cutscenes. Fullly animated ones work as intended

it's not all of them either, just some. Both of the first in Chapter 11 do this

its probably because the original CN cutscenes (from the CN client) do not (typically) match in length with the JP cutscenes, and so when we convert them (JP audio is replaced with the CN audio), they may lag like that

i got the cutscene lag in the ||Herrscher of Reason|| cutscene as well and yeah it's totally unwatchable, a slideshow. I'm gonna try replacing back the JP cutscenes and see if they run better that way. If they do, I may just play in JP, I like the CN voices but i dont like the sudden jump to JP cutscenes breaking immersion

Hello, I'm an old honkai 3rd player that I dropped the game before v5.8. I don't recall the version but it could be around 4.7.2 or smth. In short, when I dropped the game, HoS was the last released character. Mihoyo changed logining information at 5.8 it seems and CS not even telling me that, I had to find it online from some searches. My account is linked to Mihoyo, when I login with the same mail that is linked and the Exact same mail can be login as HoyoVerse account, leads me to an new account that starts over, but when I entered the game, it was already lv12 and somebody else played it. Can any HoyoVerse staff/mods help me with that? cus I am already contacting with the CS and they keep usually giving me unintrested automated messages.

ah i see, tbh thats not possible through this discord, and they wont process account recovery requests through any avenue other than email. and im sorry that its slow going, but they dont work 24/7 and if you're replying when the agent assigned to your ticket is not working then they cant get to it till their next working day and all that if that makes sense.

and jumping straight to account recovery process involves a long form with a lot of questions, and verifying that info with multiple departments so they dont just immediately go to that before covering all their bases to make sure its not something else

Only customer support can do that, you'll need to email them and explain your issue, make sure to include the UID of your old account (the one you're trying to recover your pre 4.8 version account) and the new one and they'll help. Do NOT play the new one past the tutorial or it'll make the process harder

yes it is higher quality, post processing is just a lot of possible things that can be done to improve image quality, the 4 available showin the settings do different things (which is why they have individual checkboxes) but if you want to know what they individually do you should google what anti aliasing is for instance, but in general yes it is higher quality graphics

it shouldnt crash it no but you can leave it off if you want. its 100% just personal preference and your phone should be able to handle it ok with it on so you can do whatever you want

but with it turned off (all greyed out) it is not higher graphics than with it turned on. whether or not you can actually see the difference is something you'll have to try but your phone can handle it turned on

also with the username, are you talking about your ingame nickname? becuase thats not a username and wont work as one, usernames can only be set once and you have to do it at account.hoyoverse.com

im sure its just me but when i play honkai everything is awfully slow (like for example sometimes it takes ~5 minutes to load during coop)

i know your wifi is good but the issue is most likely that your ISP is accidnetally sending your connection to honkai's servers specifically through an unstable route so until they get it fixed (usually a few days to a few weeks) you will probably have to use a VPN when playing hi3.

if a VPN doesnt help then the other stuff like restarting router can help

but yes to reroll you will need to create new emails. some people report salting works to varying degrees of success so you can try that too

its things like adding a +1 or a dot before the @ symbol, which is a "new" email address as far as teh game is concerned but will usually route emails (like verification) emails to your main gmail, you can google it to find out how exactly, but the downsides of salting is that while you can create many accounts really fast, the server thinks thats sus and kind of locks your network for a day or so if you do it too often, also can be hard to remember the exact salt you used if you end up liking an account so if you dont write down records you'll do like a lot of people have done and forget what salt they used for an account they liked and can never get it back

account recovery usually doesnt result in loss of account data, that wouldnt be much of a recovery. did they specifically say that your old account would be lost if you did the account recovery process?

yes, but since you had the old account show up in the account retreival it still exists in the mihoyo system. once its unbound you can do the account retreival to link your unbound honkai account to a hoyoverse

mhmm, for the older honkai accounts that still exist in the old mihoy login system this is an option. the warning about losing the data is for newer made accounts, HSR and genshin accounts as well. thats why for hacked accounts in those games the process is a hoyoverse account recovery where they dont unbind anything but change the login data for an existing hoyoverse account once they've proved that someone is the owner

not really, if you started on mobile you can look in the google play app install history to see when you might have first installed it, or if you have a picture of your login emblem in the game it says what day you first started but other than that you'll have to rely on memory and try to remember what new character was big when you first started and use the date of that version

Okay that could be the issue
miHoYo account ≠ HoYoverse account

So on the first screen of the account retrieval you put the miHoYo login info

After that you need to login to a HYV account where you want to link the HI3 account

So could be that someone used the same username you had on miHoYo on HYV that is why you see another email

Just take a look at the guide I shared before, and make the link process if you want.

Still just as a note, because your account is old, unless you have stuff that you can't get anymore (Evangelion) probably is better to start again, so you get the started rewards.

thats not a thing for years now, all cg's are the same quality. the "sd" or "hd" assets they're probably referring to is an optional installation for very very low spec mobiles specifically and even then the cg's are the same, just the character assets and stuff are much lower resolution

they're all 1280x720 from the beginning clear till the most recent ones, i've converted a few to .mp4 to see some info on the bitrate and stuff

any blurriness or "low res" is compression artifacts from when they converted the old .mp4 cg's to .usm file format around 5.7 iirc

it verifies the game files to make sure none of them are broke or corrupted, in theory it should fix most problems but whether it notices anything wrong or not is not guaranteed but it is a lot faster than reinstalling so thats why i suggest it first in case it does its job and works xD

oh also in case you werent, please make sure that you have most other apps closed when running the game since ipad 9's dont have a lot of ram so if you have a ton of other stuff open while playing (a couple of things is fine, just dont have like 20 other apps open in the background) that might do it too

generally speaking the game should update on its own from the app store as long as the right appleID is signed in and i dont think its possible to manually update since they dont release the .ipa on its own, any sites that have the .ipa are ripping it from the app store itself from jailbroken devices and hopefully not modifying it before reuploading it

but by default it'll prompt you to update if you got it from the app store so you just go to the app store and update it

ah i see, you'd need to redownload the latest .ipa every patch since the updates happen in two parts, part 1 is updating the app itself through the app store on mobile and through the launcher on teh windows pc version and then after the program itself is updated theres the additional asset download in the game. but my bad i assumed you were on an iOS mobile device which is the only officially supported apple device to play on for the iOS version of the game

so yeah if you're installing from a .ipa that you got from a website, you'd need to download the latest version after a patch when they upload it and then use that to update your app on your laptop

on my phone, iirc when i reinstalled it after v7.1 (when the switching feature was removed), the game automatically downloaded the HD package (i could tell as the game took the same amount of space before and after the reinstallation)

mhmm, connection issues are usually like that, you're internet isnt totally down its just that your ISP sometimes routes international connection through areas that are having issues so it'll only affect one or two things at a time

usually only noticable for games and/or live streaming. if it was the same issue but for a normal website for instance, the only thing that would happen is the site would take like an extra 5 seconds to load but for more streaming/live connection things its too unstable to work properly

but hopefully its temporary enough to not be a problem once the launcher finishes updating

greetings, i have got some questions about hi3 part 2 and im sorry if these questions were answered already and i hope this is the right channel to ask about this stuff hehe:
1- honkai impact part 2 with be within the og game right? will the layout or game appear any different when part 2 get released?
2- how much storage will part 2 take if possible? if its taking 10+ gb on mobile then it's farewell for me...
3- what do i miss out if i don't pre-register now?
4- i assume part 1 and part 2 characters can't play in the other's version so how would the character page be? and are there free part 2 characters?

1. yes its part of the game, its essentially just a big update but it wont be a seperate game.
2. attached is the recommended specs list, you can see the storage requirements there but i have to wait till it comes out to get exact mobile sizes so this is more of an approximation.
3. you can still play, pre-register is for lottery style optional prizes but wont affect your ability to play it when it comes out.
4. not sure on that, can ask in #🔮cn-gameplay-discussion

change your Appstore region to any Europe country

go to Appstore -> top right icon -> profile -> Country/Region

You'll have to set your Apple ID region to like a European address or something, I recommend making a new apple id since if you need to change it back to where you live and then back to honkai to update next patch it can sometimes cause issues

But if you don't need to do it frequently then yeah sy got it

Hi, I got problem with some cutscenes freezing. Is there a way to fix it?
I have tried and doesn't work:

1. In-game repair
2. Better launcher repair (said 12 files missing/corrupt but got error "could not find file in archive" when trying to redownload)

unfortunately there is no way to transfer the account, if you want to play on the "HYV version" of the game you need to start a new account
that is why in here we don't recommend here those ver. because you are lock to that store #🔌technical-help message
and that most of the negative reviews on steam say the same

you can ask for an option to link when they do a survey at the end of the current ver., if many users ask for it they probably can find a way to do it.
other games find a way on their system after their users ask for it, so i don't think is impossible

i don't see problems over there (you should update your drivers tho)
i cant check the USM file right now i just have my phone right now, but iirc the video for chapter 8 are the 2.3_CG... USM files
you could try to delete them and then run the repair option/redownload and check if they work, if that is the case, then the issue is that the file are corrupted
they should be on Honkai Impact 3###\Games\BH3_Data\StreamingAssets\Video
